Lyrical's POV
I wake up in darkness and dizzy. I blink a couple of times trying to let my eyes adjust. I can feel that I am on some type of metal chair. I try moving but wince out in pain.
My arms and legs are tied together. There is no windows just a door well 2 doors one in back of me and one in front. To my right was a vent it was the only source of light which wasn't much but it was still something.
Too bad it was too small that not even my head would fit. My brain then starts realizing that I've actually been kidnapped and I start panicking.
"HELP!" I scream "ANYONE HELP PLEASE"
I stop my screams as the handle of the door starts moving. I squint my eyes as a bright light appears as the person opens the door. I see their silhouette but can't see their face. They shut the door making my heart rate pick up.
I can feel that they are in front of me. Then a light turns on and honestly I can't say that I am surprised with the face in front of mine.
"Just why?" I ask him with a glare
"Bosses orders" he replied with an impassive face
"I always got bad vibes from you but he didn't listen" I scoff "look where I end up"
"Don't be like that Lyrical just cooperate when she gets here" he walks away and stands by the door
"Your Boss is a she? Your taking orders from some lady?" I ask raising an eyebrow
"She gets me what I want I listen that's the deal now do me a favor and shut up" he demands rolling his eyes
"What happened to the other Thomas? He was different" I shake my head
"It's called acting sweetheart" he sneers
"So I'm guessing your not really 19" I say
"Oh I am now like I said shut up" he again demands
"How can you be 19 and get yourself into.. whatever this is" I go on
"Look little girl I said shut the FUCK up" he yells making me instantly shut my mouth. The door begins opening and the person that walks through makes my jaw actually drop.
"Surprise.. daughter" she says walking closer
"No.. no no no the late time I saw you you were in the hospital" I shake my head violently
"Oh I've been out of that hell hole you know keeping tabs on you" she smirks her pupils were big just like his
"How did you even find me?" I ask glaring at her
"You shouldn't let people use your phone.. you know if you don't get 'good vibes' from them" she says putting air quotes around good vibes
"What did you do to my phone?" I ask now glaring at him
"Well you see while I was supposed to be using your phone to call somebody I actually put my number in your phone shared your location with me deleted the messages you gave you your phone back of course you don't check your contacts so you wouldn't know that" he shrugs
"Well it doesn't even matter because you guys are both going to go to jail" I say in a matter of fact time
"How?" She gives a fake laugh "nobody is gonna find you here"
"Did you forget that my dads wedding is in 2 days and I told him I'll be back the night before so yeah they'll find me" I smirk
"Oh yeah your dad the one that abandoned you and you just go right back to him" she sneers
"Correction he abandoned your drunk ass not me and Jax" I snap and I feel her hand come across my face leaving a sting
"Don't talk back to me or it will be worse than a slap" she says "What have you done with your hair? Is this the new lyrical? Because if so you're uglier than I thought"
"Your personality is the one that's ugly" I whisper but soon regret as she back hands me
"You think just because you change your hair start speaking and make a couple of stupid friends that your life is perfect.. well your wrong as long as I'm still here and breathing your life will be hell" she says coming in front of my face.
"Why do you even want me you hate me wish I was never born why did you take the trouble to come and find me?" I ask tears coming into my eyes but I don't let them fall
"It's a long story" she sighs
"Where the hell am I going?" I say
"Im gonna give you the simple version. Drugs I did them owe people a lot of money but obviously I don't have that so I need you well not you your body.. hopefully they will take you instead" she crosses her arms over her chest
"No hell no FUCK no you are not gonna SALE me to get out of your fucking shit!" I scream at her. Her hand connects to my face telling me that she punched me. I feel something warm run down my face.
"I will do whatever the hell I want!" she yells "they will be here tomorrow night"
She walks towards Thomas giving him a small bag filled with a white substance "take this it will last you the rest of the week now go I need to speak to you"
She slams the door and locks it. Once I take in everything that has just happened I break down crying. I may be hurt by Ryder but I hope he finds me before tomorrow night.
I am praying that someone finds me. But if I am really being honest with myself I hope it's Ryder. I just need to get out of here and to the police. Maybe if I get out of these ropes I can try finding something to pick the lock.

I guess sometime within being in here I fell asleep. When I woke up she was staring at me. I flinch back due to the close contact.
"WAKE UP!" She yells making me yet again flinch "they will be here soon"
"I thought you said later tonight" I question going into panic mode
"It is later tonight you slept your damn life away" she slurs signaling that she has been drinking
"You can't sale me to some STRANGER" I yell at her she looks at me for a moment before slapping me. She stops for a moment before slapping me again and again.
"Look at you pathetic and a mistake" she slurs "it's 7:30 they will be here at 8"
She walks out of the room slamming the door. I silently cry because of the pain in my face, it stings.
"Think Lyrical think" I say to myself breathing heavy "I have to get out of these stupid ropes"
I look around for anything I can possible cut the ropes with but find nothing. The room was literally empty other than me and the stupid chair.
I begin crying. It was useless I'm never getting out of her no one was going to find me. Not Ryder not my dad not Thena no one. I was gonna miss my dads wedding, be sold to a stranger who sells and probably does drugs and worst of all I will never get to possible date Ryder even though he doesn't want that sadly.
I sit there for a good 45 minutes before I here talking outside of the door. It swings open and in comes my mother Thomas and five other guys. My eyes widen at all of them and I lean my head down not wanting to look.
From the looks they look 25 at the most. Great my so called mother was getting drugs from someone younger than her. Which most likely means he has more connections. Which means more power.
"There she is... I know she isn't much of anything really but maybe she will be useful to you" she says look at him
"What's your name?" One of the guys asks. He looks like the the leader of their little posse. I keep my head down I see a pair of feet come into my sight and a hand grab my chin roughly pulling it up.
"I asked what is your name?" He says rudely
"Ly-lyrical" I stutter scared of what will happen if I didn't
"How old are you?"
"17"
"Done drugs?"
"No"
"Dealt drugs"
"No"
"Experienced?" He asks
I look at him with a confused face "experiences with what?"
"Guys you know like sexually" he says going around my chair circling me. I felt so useless like as If I was his prey. Flashbacks of my party enter my mind and I shake my head vigorously.
"Hmm... that'll have to change" he whispers to himself but I definitely heard him making my eyes widen
He stops in front of me leaning down to my face "kiss me"
"What?" I say completely grossed out about what he is asking
"I said kiss me" he says one more time
"I don't I mean I don't really Think that that's appropriate I mean I am und-" I began ranting but get cut off by his lips on mine
I hear his friends slightly chuckling in the back at his actions. I don't move a muscles as he continues kissing me making me want to throw up. He begins touching me on my body and tears weld up in my eyes.
I pull my face away before he goes to far. He looks at me for a moment before standing up straight.
"How is she?" She asks looking at me then him. He points towards the door as him and the other guys leave.
She walks over to Thomas letting out a huff "i need you to go back and find her phone and come back immediately once it is found"
"Got it I should be back within an hour I have to go run some uh errands" he says looking at me
"Make them quick" she snaps and they walk out of the room.

Ryder's POV
"I can't guys I'm sorry but I can't just sit here it's been really then 24 hours that's good enough" I say shaking my head putting on my jacket
"Ryder no you'll just be wasting your time they will just tell you to wait and then It'll be for what? nothing" Alex says stopping me
"He's right Ryder plus with her dads wedding in two days so have t.... " Jenna's voice trails off as she stands up straight and runs upstairs
"What is she doing?" I ask looking at Justin and he shrugs. She runs back downstairs with a card in her hand but not any card their wedding invitation.
"How is this going to help us?" Riley asks looking at her. She begins reading what's on the card.
"THIS is wasting my time Jenna we already know where it's held and stuff but I can't wait another 2 days to speak to him and find out if she is there" I huff out in annoyance
"No look if you aren't able to show or have any problems please call this number... it has to be one of theirs" she says with a slight smile
"Oh my god Jenna your a genius" Honesty says hugging her.
I grab the card from her taking out my phone and dialing the number. It rings a couple of times before someone answers
"Hello" the voice says and I recognize it as Rachael
"Hi is this um Rachael" I ask staring at everyone
"Yes.. Ryder is that you?" She asks
"Yes yes this is me I have a serious problem" I say letting out a sigh
"Ryder what's wrong?" She asks in a serious voice
"Okay 1st is Lyrical there with you guys?" I ask quickly
"No she left yesterday night she told her dad she'd be back the night before our wedding" she says with a confused tone
"Okay okay good... where did she say she was going?" I ask
"She said she was going back there.. Ryder what's going on" she says
"Well I made a mistake and yesterday morning we found out that she left but we didn't have a way to contact you to find out if she was there but she lied to you guys and said she was coming here because she hasn't been here since she left and now I'm starting to actually panic because WE DONT KNOW WHERE SHE IS!" I shutter my heart beating extremely fast
"Okay Ryder it's okay honey calm down okay you guys think of anywhere she would go and I'm gonna call you back I have to call Daniel" she says in a soothing tone but I can hear that she is trying to stay calm
"Okay we will call you back later bye" Justin says taking the phone out of my hands "babe can you go get him some water"
"Yeah I'll be back" Jenna says walking to the kitchen
"Okay Ryder I need you to do me a favor and pull yourself together man look I'm serious and I'm never serious" Justin says making me chuckle as I calm down a little bit.
"Thanks" I say to Jenna grabbing the water bottle from her
"Okay so where else could she go if she isn't here and isn't there" Riley says looking at us
"Wait guys she hasn't lived in too many places only here her mother's house and..." Justin was cut off by Honesty and Alex
"The House!" They both yell. Realization hits me on what they are talking about. I basically run out of the house and into my car driving off to the woods. I pull up to the house seeing her car.
When I get there Everyone else is pulling up behind me. I get out the car to see that the door is slightly open. Walking in slowly I see broken glass on the floor. Some things are out of place.
I hurry and walk to her room seeing all her stuff is in the closet. The bed looks as if she was laying down on it signaling she was obviously here.
"Somethings not right Ryder there's broken glass on the floor things are all out of place and tipped over there's a metal pole on the floor and She's not here" Athena says tears forming in her eyes "what if she's..."
"Don't say it" I say shaking my head "she's a strong girl..."
"We have to go to the police Ryder" Alex says
"I know but uh my cousin knows some police officers who he trusts so I guess I'll call him.. for lyrical" I say lowly
"Wait you have cousins?" Justin asks confused
"Yes I Just dont like him at all" I say clicking on his name pressing call
"Oh..." is all I heard
"Yeah it's really me... look I need your help Xander" I say in a serious tone

A/n - AHHHH there is chapter 38 for you guys and I LOVE IT secrets are revealed. I'm pretty sure I gave it away but still.
..... Ryder and Xander are cousins it has been revealed BUT we still don't know why they hate each other. I have been planning this since Xander was created LOL😅
Hopefully they find lyrical before she is sold over to this drug dealer ;)
Also this book is sadly almost over :( but don't worry I am definitely planning on writing others I already have a couple ideas
So guys I am gonna start posting at 8:30am now since we are quarantined which means no school which means I don't have to wake up at 5:30am to get dressed so I sleep in sometimes I sleep to 10am but don't worry about that so now new time is 8:30am... at least where I live
One more things I'm bored asf in the house so I just wrote chapters all day like I'm already on Ch.45 in my drafts so I might do 2 chapters 1 day idk yet... stay safe wash your hands and stay inside okay I'm done now
