Archie's POV
I knew that Betty was lying about the kiss. I mean, I've known her since we were in diapers and she can't hide any secret from me.
"I know, that you're lying."
She looked down.
"I'm not lying, can't you understand that?!" yelled she and got up from the bed.
"God, Betty, how stupid you think I am?! I know every single detail about you and you can't hide anything from me!"
Betty was about to cry. I saw her.
"YOU PISS ME OFF, ARCHIE!"
"YEAH, WELL YOU PISS ME OFF TOO, BETTY AND THE MOST ANNOYING THING IS, THAT YOU ARE LYING TO ME AND YOU THINK THAT I HAVEN'T NITICED THAT!" yelled I a bit louder.
I think, that she got scared, because I saw a tear rolling down her cheek.
"I should get going, then.."
She stormed out of my room and smashed the door with anger. Fuck, what did I just do? I didn't mean to scare her or make her sad. I only wanted to know the truth. Ugh, I'm such an ass.
Betty's POV
Archie has pissed me off. Why would he yell at me like that?! And he instited that, that kiss meant something to me, thing that's absoloutely not true.
I stormed out of his house and started running. I was crying. I arrived at my house, where I ran up to my room, closed the door and laid to my bed.
Why, Archie? Why do you always have to say... the truth..?
[The next day]
Veronica's POV
I woke up this morning and I was happy. I guess, the time I had spent with Jughead yesterday, helped me a bit. Well, who imagined me and Forsythe being friends?
I didn't want to call Archie to pick me up. No, he was probably too busy with hanging out with Betty. And as she was probably going to school with my boyfriend, I decided to call Jughead.
"Hey, Jughead, good morning."
"Morning, Veronica. Can I do something for you?"
"Uhm, I was wondering if you want to go to school with me today. Maybe?"
"Hm.. I mean, Betty hasn't called me since yesterday, so yeah, sure. I'll pick you up in 20 minutes."
"Okay, bye!"
Does that mean, that I'm going to school with my ex-enemy? Gosh, it feels so weird saying that.
I got dressed and went downstairs, waiting for him. My mother was there and she saw me.
"Good morning, Mija!"
"Morning, mamma!"
"Is Archie coming to pick you up?"
"Uhm not today. Err.. Kevin is, though."
"Okay, have a nice day."
"Thanks, mamma."
Yes, you are probably wondering, why I didn't tell her the truth. Jughead is not my dad's favorite person and if he found out, that I, Veronica Lodge, was hanging out with a guy named Jones, he would kill me.
I went outside and saw him brushing his hair. It was probably, one of the most rare moments, seeing him without his beanie. He was wearing his Serpents jacket, as always. But again, why was he brushing his hair?
"Hi, Jughead, over here!"
Jughead jumped a bit and put quickly his beanie on.
"Oh, uh, hii!"
Oh, blushing again? Are you trying to impress me, Jughead Jones the third?
"So, hop on and hold me tight."
"Okay, sure." replied I and got in his motorcycle. He handed me his helmet, which I wore.
"Aren't you gonna complain?"
"About what?"
"The motorcycle?"
"I'm not the rich bitch you thought I am, Jughead."
"Veronica, I--"
"It's okay. I have forgiven you."
I heard him whispering a 'thank you' and smiled at myself. I wrapped my arms around his waist and laid my head on his back. Ooooh, I felt it! He was blushing! I knew it!
Jughead's POV
When Veronica wrapped her arms around my waist and placed her head on my back, I couldn't help, but blush. And damn, she felt it! Now, she probably thinks, that I like her. But I don't! I-I mean not like that.
Yeah, Veronica knows thaaat! I mean, she is with Archie and I am with Betty and she also knows how much I love, Betty.
Betty. My girlfriend. Betty. Betty Cooper.
I sighead and headed to school. When we arrived there, shd unwrapped her arms of me and gave me back my helmet.
"Thanks for the ride, Jones."
Veronica playfully punched my arm and I smiled at her, as she was running to Kevin, Toni and Cheryl.
Betty's POV
At school, I saw Jughead and immediately hugged him.
"Where were you all day?" asked he.
"I was at Archie's and then I went back to my place."
"Archie's, right..." he mumbled. I get that he was jealous. He didn't want to admit it, though.
Later that day, I met V and we talked. Our first period was together.

[A few hours later]
I went to the girls restroom to wash my hands. I felt someone standing behind me.
"Betty.."
It was him.
"What do you want, Archie?"
"Come here."
He grabbed my shoulder and leaded me to an empty classroom.
"Look, I'm so sorry about yesterday. I didn't mean to yell at you. I felt so bad and I wanted to apologise. Also, I didn't have to push you so much with that kiss thing. I'm sorry."
I looked down for a bit and sighed. I had to tell him the truth.
"No, Archie. I'm sorry. I overracted. I don't know why. I-I guess you were right."
Archie now looked confused.
"About what, exactly?"
"A-About the kiss. It meant something to me. I felt it. I was lying to myself about the whole situation and I didn't want to admit it, because Jughead and Veronica, I-I would hurt them.."
Archie hugged me. That was the last thing, I expected him to do. I probably thought, that he would leave or punch me or, or... But Archie, is not that type of guy. And that's why I think...
I think...
I think.. I got my feelings for him back.
"Betty, I lied too. It felt something to me too. And I didn't wanna admit it either for the excact same reasons. And when you texted me that day, after we kissed, the thing I was really typing was, that I would be happy to do it anytime. But I didn't and..."
"And now what, Archie?"
"I have no idea, Betts.."
Without realising it, we were both leaning in until we kissed. I kissed him with passion, wrapping my arms around his neck. He kissed me back. And that was weird. I wanted to kiss him so bad, though. We pulled away.
"Betts, that was amazing."
"I like you, Arch."
"I like you too, Betty."
"What are we going to tell to Jug and Veronica?"
"I think, that we shouldn't tell them."
"What? Are you serious?"
"Yes, that would break their hearts. It's gonna be our little secret."
"Hmm..I love secrets."
I am sorry, Jug and V. I really am.
