Long ago, a kind man came,
A beautiful spade in his beautiful hands.
My eyes shone, my lips curved up,
I welcomed him to stay on my land.
I thought he wanted to stay,
The beautiful, charming man
But then he held the spade up
And oh!- He started digging, deep and fast,
My eyes shone again, my lips turned down
My pretty flowers, my sweet fruits,
They all lay dead.
He dug a big, deep hole, in my garden bed.
