I have literally tried every dress in the store , but Chloe and Anna are not at all satisfied with my look. I wore the next dress and came out.
"How about this one? " I asked them
" Nope too shiny " Anna said while furrowing her eyebrows
" Try this one" Chloe said while handing me another bunch of clothes
I made a face but went inside. They care for me , I will never betray them , there's nothing that my dad has to know about this mafia. No more stabbing at the back.

" Happy Birthday Bro!! " Issac hugged Kartik
" I want to join too" James said and hugged both of them
" Uurrgghh...kids" William said while rolling his eyes
" Leave him guys" Chloe said while pulling them
" Happy Birthday Kartik! " I went and gave him a side hug
He leaned and whispered in my ear
" No more arrogant, egoistic jackass"
I turned red , really man!!
" Ok ok... everybody let's go and get ready" Anna said while clapping her hands
We all went to our respective rooms

I walked down the stairs , to be met by many people dressed in tuxedos and elegant dresses. I tried to find any familiar face and there I spotted William , wow !!
I walked to him
" Hey! Where's Anna and everyone else" I asked with my most gentle voice and controlling the urge not to punch him
" Might be somewhere" he said while shrugging his shoulders
" Hey Aisha!!!!!" Someone shouted from the crowd and I saw James coming towards me
He looked at me and then at William and made a confused face
" You and William together? It's strange" he said
Before William can say anything , I grabbed James hand and we went to the tables. We sat at one table and were joined by Issac and Chloe who came to us arguing about something.
" I love these parties , you know free food" Chloe said
" Don't forget it's all coming from our pocket" Issac said
" Whatever , hey you Aisha , you look beautiful" she said while side hugging me
" You too" I said
" I feel bad for Kartik , he's busy with everyone" Issac said
" Really?? Forget it and let's enjoy the food" James said while practically forcing Issac to sit
Let me say they were all foodies , I'm a foodie too but right now , I have got a lot in mind.
" Hey are you ok?" Chloe asked
I just nodded and took a bite from my plate and looked here and there.
" Y...u.. sh..o..ld try th..is" James said with his mouth stuffed with food
Issac and Chloe were busy with eachother while James was enjoying the food. In between some girl came and introduced herself to James , but James looked up stupidly because his mouth was full of food.
" Hello " a voice interrupted my chain of thoughts
I looked up and saw a familiar face , he has those dark orbs as those of Kartik , his hair were also gelled up at one side and he looked charming in the tuxedo
" Do I know you? " I asked
" How can you forget me Aisha Cooper? " he said , I was at high alert
" Umm..but I'm sorry , I don't know you" I said again
" I'm Karan Martz" no sooner did he said his name , I remembered him , the wine incident at the hotel.
" Oh!! I'm sorry , I didn't recognise you at first" I said
" It's ok , hey James" he said while looking at James
" Karan Martz?" Issac looked at him confusedly
" The one and only" he did a slight bow
" Ahm ahm... I think it's my birthday so I should get most of the attention " a voice interrupted the greetings
" Oh bro , you always have the fame" Karan said while hugging Kartik
Kartik looked at me and his expression changed but restore to his usual expression immediately.
" We're going for the dance , William and Anna are already there" Issac said while taking Chloe with him
We all nodded and then settled on the table , James , Karan , Kartik and me.
" I wanna dance too so...." James said while looking at me
" Noooo , don't even think of that" I said while warning him
" C'mon Aisha , please" he said while making a cute face
" Fine" I said
We went to the dance floor , it was crowded and when I say crowded, I mean it.
James held my waist but , I was comfortable with it and we danced slowly until James twirled me and accidentally some couple collided with me and he lost the grip , I lost my balance only to be caught by Karan.
" Are you alright?" Karan asked
" I'm fine" I said then looked at Kartik , he looked at me with a cold expression
" You owe me a dance" Karan said while dragging me to the dance floor again
He held me but I didn't liked it much , I just faked smile and danced with him , atleast he was better than James
" Don't you think your wife will be annoyed" I asked him
" Only if I have a wife" he said
" I remember , you were going to propose her" I said
" Ya , I did and she agreed but things didn't go well for us , so we broke the engagement" he said casually
" Oh I'm so sorry for you" I said
" It's fine" he said
" Can I have a dance with her now?" Kartik came
" She's all yours" Karan said and went away
