Walking In the Rain

The biting wind nips playfully at my sodden thighs, rain runs wet fingers through my hair. I fall into the loving arms of the light grey clouds as they kiss my face, lips, and neck. Scenery passes slowly to the beat of heavy boots hitting sidewalk and puddles slosh around my feet, expressing their child-like desire to touch and play. I flow forward peacefully, companion by my side forgotten in the lust for the cold breeze flowing into my skin. I found something that loves me.
