two weeks post-breakup . . .
the room is dark.
almost as dark as the street outside. the only light in the room is provided by a streetlamp outside that pours through the crack in the curtains.
just enough light to be aware of what's happening.
just enough light to see the valleys in his bare abdomen, the tattoos permanently etched on his skin. just enough to see the gleam of sweat covering his body.
it's hot.
so hot, that they feel like they're being melded into one. one being.
their bare skin sticks together as desperate kisses are placed across his chest.
a breathy moan escapes his lips as her lips attach to the skin above his collarbone.
her brain is in autopilot mode, so she doesn't realize when she slips up.
but he does.
"fuck, i missed you,"
