“What they steal exactly?”
Jenni asked as we were all in the living room
“They probably took the phone so she couldn’t call for help”
Ron said
“Your life is a fucking soap opera” Deena said and then Ron looked at her
“It’s a television show”
Ron said then smiled right at the cams.
“No it’s like a bad movie right now like this is all really weird”
Deena said

“This is definitely fishy. Ronnie, he had his baby moms blocked, she was moved out of his house,but now she’s coming up with a whole new development saying there was a home invasion”
Deena said making a skeptical face.

“Alright lets go get some food”
Mike said. Vinny told me they were gonna have a sit down with Ron and explain he shouldn’t go back to her. Vinny walked over
“How’s your neck babe?”
Vinny asked gently kissing my jugular
“Bruised but I’ll live. Be safe okay”
I said kissing his lips. He kissed back then kissed my forehead
“Always. See ya later”
Vinny said waving to us

Angelina said sitting next to Deener.

So the guys left and I sighed shaking my head
“It’s so refreshing seeing you and Vin back together again”
Deena said smiling
“Honestly I don’t think I ever lost feelings for him.. best way I can describe it is when we weren’t together the song Better Now by Post Malone seems most accurate but I’m happy we are. He makes me happy and I feel safe with him...is it...crazy that I just wanna be his wife? Is that too crazy?”
I asked feeling a bit insecure
“No Jess you two clearly never stopped loving each other. I’d love to see you and Vinny get married”
Deena said smiling. Angelina strangely stayed silent.
“Well I have a very special idea for the fundraiser when I sing. I need your help though. I want you to go around and see if there’s any guys who are tryna propose because I wanna do a duet with a guy who wants to bid but when he’s singing he make part he’ll be singing to his girl and I wanna sing to Vinny. I think he’ll be star struck and the girl of whichever guy is gonna propose won’t be able to say no”
I said smirking.
“That sounds dope dude. What song you like thinking?”
Angelina asked
“It’s originally just Hames Arthur but I found a live performance of Cami Cabello and Arthur singing together taking parts in the song. It’s perfect”
I said pulling up my phone and playing the song
“Oh this is gonna be great!”
Deena said smiling
“I’m gonna go practice on my guitar for a bit before I have to get ready”
I said standing and going to my room.

So we went and sat down and were waiting on food now but a crack of thunder was heard close by
“Ooo”
Vinny said to the thunder
“T storm. T storm rolling through” Mike said
“Speaking of tea”
Pauly said and it was quiet. Ron knew what was about to happen
“In the past couple months there’s been a series of unfortunate events” Mike said
“Ronnie’s life of unfortunate events” Vinny added
“Yes”
Mike agreed
“I can’t...I can’t help the events that just happened today. I have no control over.. that”
Ron said shaking his head but we all looked at each other while Ron looked down like he just wasn’t getting it.

“Now she has this big story she kinda conjured up“
Pauly said and Ron looked up at him with a bitter face. Vinny looked at Pauly then Mike dipped his drink from a straw as the silence became awkward
“She wouldn’t do that”
Ron said and Mike made a eek face.

“To tell a lie about the house being robbed-“
“Okay I used to date this girl who had asthma and every time I’d try and break up with her she used to give herself an asthma attack and send herself to the hospital so I would go see her”
Vinny said
“She wouldn’t do that like if there was no baby I’d probably think it’s made up you know what I mean?”

“With the car and the blood and the mugshots and the police it just all seems similar”

“Well what do you think about it?” Vinny asked
“I don’t trust the company that she keeps like it’s the people you surround yourself with in the end”

Angelina said coming in. I set my guitar down and ran to the balcony to see Ron coming in first. He was texting again. Pauly went into the kitchen. I walked down and hugged vinny

I said giggling. He chuckled

Vinny said kissing my lips

I asked laughing. He rolled his eyes
“Hey starting tomorrow I go back on my Keto diet”

“So then I take it you’re not flying home with me?”

“I have to at least make sure my daughter is okay”

I said with a fake smile. She’s just reeling him back in to run him over again.

“If it was me I would be leaving the house and flying back to Vegas”

“Yeah I just gotta do what ever I gotta do to make sure that where ever she’s gonna he at is gonna be safe”

“Ron are you not going home because you just wanna stay for the event?” Deena asked and he didn’t say anything just looked at Deena and I nervously
“Don’t do that”
I said shaking my head
“No it’s fine”

“No I know like you feel maybe guilty because of the past with everything with my dad but I don’t want you to feel like you have to stick around”
Deena said
“No I know”
Ron said nodding
“We know this means a lot to you too and you wanna be there but if you wanna go home we completely understand you totally should go home”
I said sitting next to him and hugging him.

“I feel better knowing that Jen and the baby are at my house so I wanna be here for Deena I feel like all the bad going on I need to do something good to give me some good aura so I’m gonna book the next flight in the morning and be out as soon as I wake up”

Ron said as Mike and Pauly walked up with a poster board
“It’s gonna be a good night”
Deena said smiling.
“So should we post up the auctions?” Pauly asked
“Yeah were gonna make like a list and like how much it is”

“Touch Vinnys D, $50”

I said and made them all laugh
“Angelina would be like”
Deena started waving a piece of paper in the air making us laugh
“Here’s my money!”
Pauly said making me roll my eyes

I said laughing as I threw a pillow at Pauly which only made him laugh.
