tonight brett and i decided to go out and go ice skating
it was our 2 week anniversary, i was really excited, i used to ice skate all the time when i was younger but, ever since my mom passed i have not been
"your ready, y/n?" brett asked
"um, oh yeah" i squirmed
"what are you thinking about?"
"just my mom, i really miss her"
"oh, i'm sorry babe, come here" he said standing up and giving me a big hug "we dont have to go if you dont want to"
"no, babe, i want to go and have fun with you, plus, i haven't been in a long time" i smiled
"i love how strong you are" he said placing a kiss on my forehead
"thanks you, let's go" i grabbed my coat and walked out the door behind brett, we drove past many place wanting to know where we should eat, i have always been so picky
we finally arrived at the ice rink hand in hand and got our skates
"wow, i haven't been on the ice in so long, babe" i squealed
"same babe, let's try not to fall" we both began to skate losing our balance many times, i still had the hang of it so i tried to help brett out he was struggling
"you got it babe, come on" I cheered him on from in front, he had only been 2 times in his life and that was when he was 2
"babe, do you know how to go fast?" he asked smiling
"i can try" i said chuckling, began to ride fast, i was gliding so smooth but then i kind of lost balance landing in someone arms, there hands were place on my hips, i look up and glared at the familiar looking boy, it was my ex
"get your hands off of me" i said pushing him away
"why, babygirl, your little boyfriend gonna beat me up?" he smirked
"that dosent matter, and dont call me babygirl, like you said i have a boyfriend" i said getting mad
brett POV
after watching y/n, i saw her trip and fall into someone arms, and after taking a better look i saw that it was her ex and he had his arms around her waist, i knew she missed him, i just went out of the rink and took my skates off, then walked to the front door
"brett, where are you going?" i heard y/n yell, i just ignored her and continued walking, then she touches my shoulder
"what wrong, baby?" she said concerned
"nothing"
"yes there is, what's wrong"
"what was that"
"what"
"back there in the ice rink, with your ex, he had his hands on your waist, and you know how i feel about that stuff babe" he said tearing up
"no, babe it is not what you think, I fell into him, and then told him to get his hands off of me, babe, you know i am not like that and that i am yours and yours only" i explained
"i know babe, it's just-"
"i understand, you have told me before and i promise I am not like the girls in your past, i would never do anything like that to you, i promise" he then embraced me with a tight hug
"i am sorry babe" he said pecking my lips
i just hugged him tighter
