Reminder that just because your related to someone, doesn't mean they're your family. Your family are the people who love and support you, and if your parents aren't doing that, you shouldn't think of them like your family.
And before you ask, my parents are fantastic people, but I know others aren't so fortunate. I want to let you know that if you're being abused, it is not normal, and you should get out of the situation any way you can.
