There are 20 missed calls and all of them are from 20 different unknown numbers.
I agree, being one of the most popular accountancy faculty in the town, I often get many missed calls but they were probably from the same number unlike today, 20 missed calls from 20 different unknown numbers.
I was trying to process and to derive the genuine cause behind these strange incidence when suddenly my phone started ringing again and once again, the call is from a new unknown number.
"Hello", I said.
"Hello! What is your charges?", A man from the other side enquired.
I think he wants to join my coaching center or may be he is asking for his child that's why he wants to know my fees but all my batches are already packed.
"You are late Mr. all my schedules are already packed. I suggest, better you try somewhere else."
"What! I will pay you double or triple or whatever amount you want but please don't deny me.", He begged and I was taken aback momentarily.
I already knew that I am popular in town but still no one has ever tried to bribe me by offering extra sum of money.
"Sorry, but this year it's not possible.", I replied.
"What! You are busy for whole one year.", He exclaimed in shock.
I think, he's not aware of my coaching centre policies. I don't provide crash courses. I teach only one batch throughout the year.
There are many coaching centers available in the market who complete the whole year academic courses within few months and again start a new batch for the same course.
There main motive is only to make money but my main motive is the result of my students.
"Yes, as I already said, you are late. There are limited seats in my center and all of them had already been filled.", I said.
"May I know your per day capacity?", He enquired.
My per day capacity? If I calculate my capacity based on duration then it will be in total eight hours, six hours in school and two hours in my coaching center. But if I calculate my capacity based on students then it's three hundred, one hundred and sixty students in school and one hundred and forty students in my coaching center.
"As per duration my per day capacity is eight hours and per day I handle three hundred s...", He didn't let me complete my sentence and said,
"Oh my God! You f**k three hundred people every day and that to in just eight hours only.", He stated in shock.
"Execuse me Mr. I know you are upset because you didn't get enrollment in my coaching center but that doesn't mean that you got the right to use such bad terms for my job.", I said being offended.
"Coaching center?", He asked in doubt.
Doubt! Why does he sounds doubtful?
Oh God! If whatever I am thinking is correct? Then I am going to get into a very big trouble.
"Yes coaching center. I am a teacher.", I said sternly.
He remained silent for few seconds as if he is in deeep thoughts or probably he is in deep shock?
"Okay! So, you also teach how to sleep with others?", He replied amusedly.
"Oh hello Mr. I don't know who you are? Who gave you my number? At least you should do some research before you call someone. I am not that, whatever your dirty mind is considering.
I am a teacher, a respected accounts teacher. I teach in school as well as I owned my own coaching center.", I lashed out on him.
How dare he assumed those nasty things about me? My doubts are correct, he thinks that I am a prostitute and I guess the reason behind all those unknown calls were also same.
Someone played this dirty game with me and circulated my number as a call girl.
"If you are a teacher then why she gave me your number?", He said confusedly.
"She? who is she? May I know her name?", I enquired instantly.
I can't believe how a girl can do something like this with a girl.
"Listen there might be some cross connection or may be I didn't note down the number properly when she gave it to me that's why I ended up calling you. So, sorry for bothering you.", By saying that he hung up the call.
I can't stay silent. I want the name of that girl. I should call him back.
The moment I was going to redial his number, my phone started ringing and once again it's an unknown number.
I don't want to pick up the call but I don't have any other option. I have to face all this but this time I will not assume any thing on my own and will talk clearly.
"Hello", I answered the call.
"How are you? Did you remember me? Forget about remembering me. Tell me are you enjoying your day? Your calls? I think I should not waste your time by keeping your network busy because there are many more who is trying to call you. So, enjoy the calls baby and don't ever mess with me again.", She didn't even let me speak a word and disconnected the call.
Now I get it. Who is behind all these mess? I am not going to leave her. I will teach her a very good lesson after all I am a teacher and that's my duty.
I took a half day leave from school. I am not going to leave her so easily. she tried to mess up with the wrong girl she will have to pay for all this.
I am a reputed teacher and she can't ruin my reputation. I won't let anyone do this to me. Never-ever!
As I came out of the school I booked a cab and went directly to the police station to file the complaint against her.
It took me fifteen minutes to reach the police station. I went inside and asked the inspector to file my F.I.R.
Inspector Rai asked me my name then my number and then he asked me from where it all started.
I told his everything. From the very beginning but I didn't reveal that Raj is Gay.
He asked one of his constable to note down all the unknown numbers and he also took Raj's number.
"Okay Miss Karuna you can go now. We will call you again if it's required." The inspector said to me.
Before leaving the police station I decided to call commissioner Shah and inform him about this entire havoc.
I am sure he will definitely help me.
~Flashback~
"Sorry sir, but I can't do any thing all my batches are already full.", I said sadly.
"Please Miss Karuna don't say this. Because of my busy schedule I was unable to enroll my daughter earlier. You know, how crime is increasing day by day? and being a police commissioner my first priority is to serve my country but I can't forget that I am a father too. So, after completing my professional duty I am standing here infront of you asking for your help to fulfill my duties as a father.", He tried to explain me hopefully.
"Okay sir, I respect you and your profession. You people sacrifice alot for us and infront of that I will be doing very little for you.", I said.
"So, it means you are ready to enroll my daughter?", He said excitedly.
"Yes sir", I assured him.
"Please don't call me sir, you can call me Mr Shah and thank you very much. My daughter will be very happy now.", He said happily.
"Okay sir I mean Mr Shah you can send your daughter from tomorrow.", I replied.
"Thank you Miss Karuna and remember one thing whenever you need my help in any manner don't hesitate to call me. I will always be there to help you.", He said genuinely.
"Thank you Mr Shah.", I said.
~End of flashback~
I dialed his number, after few rings he answered my call.
"Hello Miss Karuna. How are you?", He enquired.
"I am fine Mr Shah, What about you?", I said.
"I am also the same. Is there something regarding my daughter?", He asked.
"No no Mr Shah, your daughter is doing very well in studies in fact she is one of my best student.", I said.
"I am very proud to hear this from you. It's possible only because of you.", He said proudly.
"I am just her mentor it's all her efforts. Actually I need your help.", I finally said.
"Yes Miss Karuna, say what can I do for you?", He asked.
I informed him everything whatever is happening with me. How it all started, how I called Raj and instead of him a girl picked up my call and threatened me and now I think she is the one who had circulated my number as a call girl just to take revenge from me. I told him every single details but once again I skipped the details of Raj being Gay.
"Don't worry Miss Karuna. I will take this case under my control and I will make sure that lady ends up behind the bars soon.", He assured me.
I thanked him and came back to my home.
As I entered into my house, I noticed that the entire Tandel family are present here, except Raj.
Where is he?
