Sorry it took so long it's been over a month since you asked for this

"Why were you messaging him then?" Erling asked. You and him had been arguing about this for a while. All that happened was that this boy had been talking to you when you went out and wouldn't leave you alone and he would only leave you alone. You being you, you gave him your actual number not even thinking about giving him a fake one which would've made more sense. When that guy got your number he kept on messaging you and you kept replying being that polite person but Erling didn't like it. He kept saying that you were flirting even if you weren't. The guy wasn't even flirting with you so you didn't see what the big deal was. You have a lot of male friends and he was a lot of female friends.
"We just started talking and that was it. You're the only one that I want to be with!" You shouted back at him. You were getting more annoyed with each word that left his lips. Yours too. You never saw Erling as a jealous type but apparently, he was. A very jealous type when it came to you.
"How do I know that?" Erling shouted. You couldn't believe that Erling was accusing you of this. He was the last person in the world that you thought would ever accuse someone of cheating. Apparently not.
"You absolute fucking... I'm so angry I can't even insult you!" You shouted. You were never that good in arguments so you were surprised that you had gone this long arguing with Erling. Your fists were clenched tightly by your sides and you could feel tears brimming at the corner of your eyes. There was no way you could stay in the house. You had to leave. You turned around and began to walk out. It probably wasn't the best option but it felt like the only one.
"If you walk out that door Y/N it's over. We need to sort this out." You heard Erling shout at you. The anger was too high. You couldn't turn back to talk to him it would just turn into another shouting match. The anger was also so high that you felt like you could cry and you didn't want to cry in front of him. Not now. It always happens when you get so angry and it's one of the most annoying things that could actually happen.
You couldn't even turn to look back at him knowing that you would completely break down if you looked at him. You grabbed your car keys and phone before walking out that door slamming it shut. Quickly you walked to your car and drove home not allowing yourself to think about it or cry over it yet. You needed to drive home before letting your emotions out. You could feel the lump in your throat and the tears in your eyes but you weren't far from home so you kept them in.
Turning off the engine you literally ran inside your house locking the door behind you and went straight to the kitchen to grab the ice-cream from the freezer and a spoon. As soon as you grabbed that you went straight into the bedroom allowing your tears to fall down your face. Erling is your first proper boyfriend so you've never actually been through this with anyone else and it hurt more than you had expected. No one could prepare you for the heartache of arguing with one the person you love most in the world.
With the ice-cream in hand, you sank under your covers and turned on Netflix. Netflix, ice-cream and a cry session seemed perfect right about now. You didn't want to think and watching Netflix allowed your mind to focus on something else and it helped you relax. Ice Cream. Well, ice cream is just nice to eat so it felt perfect for this occasion.
The next few days passed by in a blur. You can't actually remember leaving your bed at all but you must've at some point because there's a bunch of chocolate and other comfort food all over your bed. There was also a bunch of drink bottles by the side of your bed that you had also drunk throughout the days. So clearly you hadn't cleaned up any of the mess. You probably only left to use the bathroom before getting back into bed. Grabbing your phone from the bedside table you saw a bunch of notifications. You hadn't wanted to look at them but when you scrolled down you saw Erling's name come up with messages and you had to read them. You tried to stop yourself but you couldn't so you read through the many messages left by Erling.
Erling: Y/N please come back. We need to talk.
Erling: I'm sorry for what I said we can work this out.
Erling: Y/N please I'm so sorry I really didn't mean it. I know that you would never do that I was jealous when I shouldn't have been.
Erling: Kjæreste, please I need to talk to you I can't do this without you.
Erling: Okay, I understand you don't want to talk to me so I'll leave you to think all of this over but I just want to let you know that I am terribly sorry for accusing you straight away without even talking.
You read through the messages through your blood red, blurry eyes and didn't know whether to believe it or not. They had been sent ever since your fight wanting to make sure that you were okay. He wanted to sort this out with you. Your family always told you to hear the other person out and to just listen to them before making any rash decisions. You don't need to talk you just need to listen so that's what you are going to do. Also, you want to see Erling and see how he's been getting on since your fight.
Y/N: I'll be there in an hour.
You sent to him knowing that you needed a shower and everything beforehand. You actually had to look somewhat decent and not look like the fight had completely broken you. Even though it had. You needed to try to let him know that you could live and survive without him even though you're sure that you couldn't. You couldn't function over the 3 days let alone longer than that.
Erling: Okay, I'll see you then.
As soon as that message came through you got out of bed and went in the shower trying to get rid of those red eyes and blotchy face. Well, get rid of them as soon as you could. There was no way it would all disappear by the time Erling comes. You were in too bad of a state for it to go that easily. You grabbed a pair of jeans and a jumper putting that on and put your hair up into a bun. You were debating whether or not to do your make up but decided against it knowing that it wouldn't hide your red eyes and you also couldn't be bothered. You wanted to get this conversation done with to see if you would have a boyfriend at the end of it or not. You hope you would but you have no idea how Erling is feeling. You can have a rough idea but never exactly know. Grabbing your keys you made your way to your car before driving to Erling's home.
"Hello," Erling said to you as soon as he opened the door to you. Your breath got caught in your throat. It was only a couple of days since you last saw him but oh god had you missed him. His hair was a mess and had obviously been crying. It broke your heart. You could tell that he had been a mess since you left and if your honest you probably haven't been any better. No, you defiantly haven't been any better. It's the worse you've ever felt in your life. Well at least over a boy that is. You can't remember ever being this broken over a boy. Given you haven't really dated any boys before Erling but that's irrelevant really.
"Hi." You said softly. He opened the door further allowing you inside. As soon as you went through the door you took off your shoes knowing that's one thing Erling liked about his house. He hated shoes in them. He preferred to keep the floors as clean as possible. You then followed him towards the living room and you took a seat on the sofa but he stayed standing up.
"Would you like a drink or anything?" He asked when you made it into the living room.
"Water please," You said. You had a lump in your throat and you needed to get rid of it and water would hopefully help. You wouldn't be able to talk to him with a lump in your throat. He nodded his head and quickly made his way towards the kitchen. Slowly you felt yourself become more relaxed and that's probably because you were on your own so you had time to clear your mind a little bit. You knew that was the main reason Erling offered to get a drink for you was to clear his own mind.
"Here you go," he said passing you the glass of water that he just got from the kitchen for you.
"Thank you," You said taking sips of the water. The two of you were both sat in silence trying to figure out what to actually say and how to say it. It's the most awkward silence that ever happened between the two of you. It's usually filled with jokes and all sorts of conversations and laughter but now it's not. It's strange. You were about to open your mouth to try to stop the awkward silence but Erling got there before you.
"Y/N, I'm so sorry." Erling started.
"I shouldn't have accused you straight away I was just being jealous. I should've trusted you and I do but I don't know why I acted like that. I know you don't see anything in that guy I could tell before but it was clouded. I've been a mess these past days barely functioning well. I need you in my life I missed you more than anything. I love you." Erling rattled on wanting to make sure that he apologised for absolutely everything. He couldn't miss out a single thing. Tears had already sprung into your eyes just from Erling speaking. He couldn't live without you. He loved you.
"I'm sorry for messaging him I should've made it clearer. I love you too." You said voice cracking. Erling smiled tears brimming in his eyes as he brought you into a kiss. His tongue made its way into your mouth making sure to touch every last part of your mouth only pulling away to breathe. It's only been three days but he's missed this so much and so has to you.
"Promise not to fight like that again," you said not wanting to have that heartbreak again. It would probably be worse next time as well considering you would be dating for longer.
"Promise," Erling said bringing you into another kiss. A kiss to seal the promise although a pinky promise would be better.
