I went and changed into my pajama shorts and a white baggy T-shirt.
“He should eat. We should heat up that food for him”
I said sitting next to Vinny and then we heard Ron coughing up a lung again. Pauly looked up to the second floor and Nicole pointed up.
“Ooo”
Nicole said grossed out.
“Is he alright?”
Pauly asked in a concerned voice
“Oh my god. Fuck, he’s still in bed” Angelina said
“No, still?”
Pauly said in shock
“He’s like I’m gonna get up in a minute”
I said shaking my head
“He’s getting up now?”
Deena asked in confusion.
“Getting up now for what? I’m going to bed”
Pauly said crossing his arms
“Oh that’s terrible”
Deena said sadly
“Yeah I dont get it”
Angelina said shaking her head.
“Well then you’ve never had your heart torn out. When you’re on that level of broken nothing else matters. Nothing”
I said shaking my head as I looked down in thought. Vinny glanced over at me with a sadness in his eyes. He was thinking of us too...
I know ultimately it was his and Nicole's fault for how everything went down...but it would be a lie to say I was the only one who was emotionally destroyed in the aftermath.
I knew Vinny had been broken and it threw him in a depression of binge drinking and partying for a long time. Its not like Pauly or Jenni or anyone else never told me about what happened after I left..
Vinny shut off anything serious. He hooked up with girls and never spoke to them again. He drank so often he could barely function. If it weren't for Pauly being there for him in that time of need, who knows what kind of person he would of turned out to be 9 years later.
I was happy for Nicole making it work with Jionni and getting married, having 2 kids and trying for a third with Jionni but I had to admit, I was jealous...
Vinny and I should ve married..
We should have at least 1 baby by now and the clock is ticking for me to have a child..
Things happen for a reason though and it would be wrong of me to hold a grudge against Nicole, forgiving her already, and still having ill feelings because her and her family worked out and mine didnt.
I was brought from my thoughts when I heard Nicole speak.
“He’s dying”
Nicole said sadly. I sighed and got up to the kitchen. I grabbed a Gatorade and walked to the stairs
“I’m gonna go pick my movie goodnight guys! Love you all! Vin, you coming to chill?”
I said yawning
Vinny stood up and stretched
"Yeah lets go"
Vinny said and they all said night love you to me and Vinny but of course, there was Pauly...
"Vinny hasnt pounded Jess out in a long-"
"You shut your dirty whore mouth Pauly!"
I yelled halfway up the stairs with a very failed version of an angry expression while I pointed down at him.
His only responce was laughing his ass off, along with the roomies
"Get outta here ya chooches"
Vinny said chuckling
“Please keep it quiet!”
Deena said and I laughed flipping ger off as we kept walking up the steps
“It’s cool Vinny, she told me she’s got a 3 year birth control plan! You good!” Pauly said laughing
“Shut up already huh?!”
I said shaking my head with a flushed face.
The roomies laughed again as we made it to my room.
So I chose the movie
'This is the End' with Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jay Baruchel, and a bunch of other funny ass actors about dealing with the end of the world.
“So how we watching the movie?” Vinny asked and I walked up to him with a smirk.
“We can cuddle but I’m taking whatever this is slow..I haven’t really done any type of thing with anyone since you. I just focused on my music” I said sighing
“I’m cool with just cuddling. We can go at your pace I won’t do anything that’s gonna make you uncomfortable”
Vinny said and I smiled
“Let’s smoke a blunt first”
I said keeping the movie on pause. We went outside and closed the doors and smoked.
The night time summer breeze was perfect. Not cold at all. After that we crawled into my bed and I fell asleep watching the movie. He had his arm around me the entire time and it just felt so right....
I felt happy
(Morning)
I woke up and Vinny was gone. I felt a little sad about that but that died quickly when he walked in with my coffee and had a blunt tucked on top of his ear
“Morning beautiful”
Vinny said smiling as he sat down and handed me my coffee. I sighed happily as I sipped it, set it down and stretched
“Ron is actually awake and up today so we’re gonna go have a guys day get a shape up and then we’ll be back” Vinny said. I nodded smiling.
“So we should hurry and smoke then”
I said getting out of bed and going to the porch. We smoked and by the end he hugged me
“I’ll see ya soon”
Vinny said and kissed my forehead. I smiled with a slight blush, nodding and waved him off. I went back to sleep for maybe 30 minutes then went downstairs. I decided to make breakfast for the girls. I made French toast, bacon and made a fresh pot of coffee. By the time I was done Deena was first to come down
“Here you go mama meatball”
I said smirking as I gave her orange juice because oj was really good for the baby.
“Ohh thanks Jess. God I love having you around. I’ve missed you so much” Deena said smiling.
“I’ve missed everyone really. I’m so happy to be back. Pauly really pulled through for this”
I said smiling as I sat down with my own plate
“So did you and vinny do the sex yet?” Deena said smirking and I laughed
“No we just cuddled. He’s being so sweet he said we can go at my pace and he woke me up to coffee and a rolled blunt like he’s got major brownie points so far”
I said smiling brightly.
“What happens if he keeps this up?” Deena asked
“Then maybe just maybe I’ll be with him again but slow pace is what I want until I feel comfortable enough to take the next step”
I said smiling and just then Vinny walks in
“We talking about me?”
Vinny said smirking as he came over and kissed my temple. I smiled at him
“Maybe”
I said giggling
“Okay fair enough, I won't pry on girl talk. Good morning Deener”
Vinny said chuckling lightly
“Good morning how are you?”
Deena asked smirking
“I’m alright just yknow starting my day”
Vinny said looking in the fridge and grabbing some oj
“Oh! Sugar!”
Vinny said and we laughed
“Have you had fun this past weekend?”
Deena asked smirking as Vinny sat down next to me
“Yeah”
Vinny said
“I know it must’ve been miserable in the car”
Deena said knowing Vinny and Angelina both being from Staten island they both had the same flight and both took a cab together from ac airport to here.
“Your replacement has just been a nightmare. She’s extra, like she’s very extra”
Vinny said crossing his arms
“Oh yeah”
Deena said nodding
“Did she really touch your dick?”
I asked looking at him. He sighed, closing his eyes and hanging his head
“She was just on top of me and she was just like honk honk you know what I mean?”
Vin said shaking his head
"Why was she on top of you? Like what happened?"
I asked giggling.
"She was drinking and i was laying in my bed minding my own business then she comes in and just tries play fighting with me, then yknow.. Honk honk"
Vinny said and i could feel how awkward he felt.
“Chris really thinks that she wants you”
Deena said shaking her head
“Well she needs to back tf off seriously cuz I mean now that we’re taking things slow I promise I’m gonna be a little more territorial. She keeps trying to say its to make me jealous enough to make a move on Vin in front of everybody but i mean shes so extra about it like oh would you like to touch my boobs theyre brand new"
I said shrugging as I stood up to put my sink in the dish washer. Vinny smirked as he watched me
“Awwww”
Deena said laughing. I flipped her off with my back to her as I grabbed some more coffee.
"No I'm serious. It's starting to piss me off"
I said crossing my arms
"This isnt like last time Jess, I cant fucking stand her. She thinks I'm obsessed or in love with her whatever but I actually just hate her in every way I can think of"
Vinny said shuddering as he grabbed my hand and rubbed his thumb over it.
"I know Vin..just wish she'd get it through her thick skull"
I said rolling my eyes.
“Chris actually said when we were in ac he goes ‘if you were like on the outside in you would think you were the cockblocker”
Deena said laughing lightly
“It’s so annoying. There’s something wrong with that girl”
Vinny said shaking his head.
So then Mike came in doing some weird dance and he came over and kissed D and I on the cheek.
“Good morning”
Mike said smiling
“Morning Mike”
Deena and I both said smiling as he dabbed up Vinny up, then Pauly came in.
“Good morning preggers”
Pauly said
“Morning Pauly”
Deena said smiling up at him as he took a seat
“Good morning Shawty. You preggers with Vinny yet?”
Pauly asked me laughing
“Oh hahahaha you’re hilarious. No not yet and you know that's a sensitive subject Pauly"
I said in a chipper voice trying to still sound pleasant.
Vinny looked over at me with a drown, Deena and Mike looked at me with a sympathetic look but I shook it off. It was quiet for a minute, but Mike being Mike, coughed with a smirk
“Um yet?”
Mike asked but I laughed
“You guys are assholes”
I said shaking my head. Ron came out after that and I gasped
“He’s alive!”
I said intentionally over dramatic. I hugged him and he picked me up and spun me
“Thanks for constantly checking on me”
he said setting me down
“You’re my brother I’ll never not make sure you’re good”
i said
“Hey Ron just so you know I’ll probably be seeing more of you when you move in with Jess for a while” Vinny said smirking
“Are you guys back together?”
Ron asked in shock
“It’s a work in process. We’re just taking things one day at a time”
Vinny said as I nodded smiling
“Word we’ll have a good time the three Of us”
Ron said smiling as Nicole came out and opened the back padio door
“Oh my god it’s so pretty out. So I have a surprise for you guys. We’re gonna have like a fun adult party”
Nicole said. My brow arched i confusion
“What?”
I asked and Pauly and Vinny laughed
“Yo oh my god!”
Mike said and all the guys were going nuts with excitement
“I’ve been waiting for this moment!” Pauly said laughing. Nicole rolled her eyes
“Not that! I got inflatables,a slip and slide, hamster balls and were just gonna bounce in big bounce houses like we’re seven”
Nicole said shrugging
“Now that sounds more enjoyable”
I said giggling.
