CHAPTER 48 : OH MY MY!
ISABELLA'S POV
I got ready asap, which includes , brushing my teeth, face wash ,
water input and then output,
yaa you read that right !
Then wore a new pad , changed into jogging pant , hoodie and applied some perfume .
Then I slowly descend downstairs, take scooty's key and leave the house.
"Miss Isabella?"
Guard! Oh!
" Yaa?"
" What are you doing up so late Ma'am ?"
" Please no Ma'am "
" Miss Isabella it is "
" Right! So I am going to the Miller House but please don't tell anyone anything "
" But ..."
" Please ? A teenager wants to experience her teenage life ,
will you not let her have some fun in this sad life ?"
" Okay Ma'am . I mean Miss Isabella but please come back soon "
" Yes no problem . If anyone asks , tell them I went for a jog "
" With your bike?"
" Tell them I was in the neighborhood to practice my bike " I rephrase it and start the engine
" Noted "
" Thank you!" I say and instead of pressing brake, I end up accelerating a bit.
" Be careful!" he shouts
" Yaa " I shout back and leave , luckily still in one piece.

"I thought you wouldn't be arriving until eternity "
"I came and that's what matters"
" Absolutely " she smirks
"Ro must be in his room . I'm going there "
" Yaa and now imma sleep , don't wake me up whatsoever "
I scoffed and proceeded towards his room.
What are the odds that he's still awake ?

I internally hope he didn't lock his door and as expected he didn't .
Slowly I open the door .
It's creaking noise is still heard but I see Ro having his deep sleep .
I step forward after closing the door back and continue to look at his features from up close .
I can't help but think how can someone be so handsome at this unholy hour .
But at the same time , he looks tired and I feel like talking to him right now won't be the best decision .
You are here anyway so might as well stay a bit .
Right ..
So I gingerly lay beside him and whisper ,
"I like you so very much and
I wish we'll sort out this situation soon .
I am sorry for being insensitive and
I am so thankful for your existence "
I don't know why and how but I find myself tousling his hair , quite affectionately .
He'll wake up !
My inner voice tries to stop me from creating a problem .
The phrase ,
' I don't find trouble , trouble finds me ' is made just for someone like me because what happens next is he slightly moves his arm and holds my hand which is rested on his hair .
"Ro?" I ask .
In my defence , he would actually reply if he's awake as opposed to the horror movies where in the characters asks 'Is anyone here?'
And then I am like ,
'Dude! He's a ghost for fudge's sake .
He's not gonna greet you and
informing you about his presence is
by doing something spooky and not by replying to whatever you asked '
Anyways , Ro doesn't reply either and I figure he's still sleeping , probably dreaming too .
"How long are you gonna stay away from me ? Weren't two years enough " I say rather emotionally.
I decide to leave before I end up crying here itself !
But before I could release my hand , he ends up pulling me closer .
Don't ask me how , but I manage to lose my balance and roll on one side , directly facing him !
Fudge !
Breathe in , breath out .
In situations like this , I gotta remind myself to breath to calm down because just like my heart it may stop working .
I swear if he opens his eyes right now , I'd take all my hair in front and pretend to be a phantom .
Then till he screams or something like that while shutting his eyes , I'd hide under the bed !

I agree with you but you don't have to make an effort to pretend to be a witch!
I am about to give a second thought to my inner not so appeasing thought , when he rests his arm right above my stomach .
I am fudging pregnant !!!

I shift a little because my head's not in a comfortable position and just as I do so , his other arm which was right above my head turns out to be below.
I control my urge to caress his cheeks at this point !
But I do the next sane thing .
And by sane , you mean insane...
I let my forehead rest on his chest and close my eyes, living and loving this magical feeling !

I start groaning after hearing an irritating noise and try to get away from it by burying myself further into the opposite side of it but I couldn't move any further as I was blocked by a stiff barrier .
Suddenly like lightning I recall where and how I was !
Slowly I tilt my head upwards and open my eyes to find two aqua orbs staring intensely into mine !
Oh my my !
I bite my tongue because I don't know what am I gonna say to him if he asks what I was doing here?!
So all I do is pull the blanket completely over me and end up coming face to face with his bare chest !
Am the only one feeling hot in here ?
I feel the weight around me shifted so I pull the blanket dramatically slow to peak and see what's going on when I find myself trapped !
Both his arms are on either side of my not so petite body and he is right above me ,
a layer of air separating our bodies from almost colliding !
My breathing starts getting heavier and he whispers ,
"It stopped ringing " .
Oh !
He wanted to grab the phone that's why he pulled this stunt !
"It's ringing again" I whispered back .
He extended his arm and took hold of my phone and answered it ,
" Yes Mum?"
"Yaa , she is at my house "
"Yes , right now in the washroom"
"We are still not talking that much"
"Yaa I'll ask her to give you a call"
"Okay bye , meet you soon "
He kept my phone back at it's place and continued staring at me .
"What are you doing here?"
"Breathing oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide" I say nervously
"You didn't informed your parents before coming here , did you?"
"What gave it away ?"
"When did you get here?"
"Around 4:45"
"Who told you that I was here?"
"Riley"
"Of course! And why are you here?"
"To play 'who wants to be a millionaire?' " I roll my eyes
"Why don't you just go back home and we'll ignore this situation ?" he says
After hearing that , I , Isabella Winston , unexpectedly , literally
push him towards one side .
Now , instead of him towering above me and making me hell lotta nervous , I am above him and he's the one who's amused !
"Believe it or not !
I am sorry for whatever happened and I realise that that was not a joke. I should have been more considerate !
But , now you have to stop this , whatever it is , otherwise !"
"Otherwise?"
"I'll end up kissing you and then make you forget everything else"

Suddenly , now ' I ' am being pushed on the other side and find myself below him for the second time today .
"Then do it ?"
"Do.. wh.what?"
"Kiss me" he demanded and I gulped
"Try doing it without slapping me " he adds in a mocking tone
"I didn't mean to . The fact that Marvin was just fooling around and we had kissed when he was already with Daisy was going on in my head . I felt messed up that's why I ended up slapping you " I said
" I'm sorry about that. You liked him , didn't you ?"
"Had a crush , nothing more than
that "
"You don't like me, do you ? "
"I pretended that I don't because
I wanted you to sort your feelings out , you were confused .
You were Jessica's boyfriend .

I don't know what happened to you suddenly . And I was beyond surprised when you confessed "
"So you mean you do feel something?"

"That night after our beach incident , she broke up with me with a heavy heart . Said that we both , I.e you and me, are too caught up with stuffs to even realise what we feel "

"So before you dodge my question again ! You feel something for me ?"

"Don't do that! " he says sternly

"You are the only one who actually noticed that habit of mine " I chuckle.
Suddenly I feel the invisible load being lifted off my shoulders .
He started caressing my cheek , "Now?"
"Now?"
"Do what you should have done a long time ago"
"I didn't even brush my teeth !" I say and turn my face to one side swiftly , suddenly feeling conscious about having bad breath .
"Now or never" he demands
I turn my head around slowly and take one look at him .
My gaze holds his eyes and then travel straight down towards his lips .
My thumb tends to caress it and for the first time , I have actually touched his lip this way .
"Don't be a tease" he groans
Royal and Isabella , Rozy , my favourite bond is us !!
With that magical thought ,
I lean in and just as my lips touch his , he seems to be as flabbergasted as I was .
My eyes close and our lips move in sync , his hands on my face while we kiss as if there's no tomorrow !
It was what we call as passionate ..
It felt as if all these unsaid emotions were conveyed through this kiss !
"I'M SO SORRY "
Hearing that , Ro and me pull away instantly , he gets off immediately to look at Riley who just closed the door and went away .
What just happened ?!
"I'll freshen up " Ro says and goes to the bathroom .
" By the way " he says and peeps outside ,
" Yaa?"
" You're really beautiful " he says and closes the bathroom door .
What just happened?!

"Where's Izzy?" Ro asks Riley
"She went home"
"But she didn't tell me"
"Did you see her state? She was blushing like crazy"

"You guys would have totally did it if I hadn't interrupted" she says and
one couldn't have figured out whether she was excited or sorry about that .
"No, we wouldn't have done that"
"Why?"
"Because I want to make love to her and not just have sex .
And why am I even discussing my love life with you !"
"I'm gonna ignore that !
And besides did you just admit that you are in love?!"
"I have loved her always but as bestfriends , I won't claim that I love her until I am sure.
Right now ,all I do know is I like her a f**king lot "
"I was praying that you should talk ,
I had no clue , you both would resort to kissing instead " she teased him .

" Sorry ... Ro came back home and so I went to meet him"
" Couldn't you wait?"
" I already waited for two years Mom" I sigh
"Don't try that emotional thingy on me because it's working! Anyways , you are grounded for a week"
" A freaking week?!"
" Why? Should I extend it to a month?"
" Week it is ! "
" Next time, you better take permission from us and you are still young to do that"
"That?"
" Use protection..."
" MOM!" I covered my face with my hands
" Go to your room now and did you eat anything?"
" Not yet"
" I'll send food . Also , smile suits you my girl"
" I'm not smiling"

" Mom I'm going " I said and started walking faster
