"Taehyung? "
"Oh hey 👋 "
"Why are you here? " questioned jungkook
"I actually came to give you the notes of today's class"
"How did you know I was here? " he questioned again
"Well the science teacher told me to give someone in the rabbit shed my notes, so I came here, I didn't know you we're in it though" tae was actually beyond happy, but he reminded himself that he shouldn't be
So he kept a straight face
"Oh ok then thanks" said jungkook as he received the notes
Jungkook took 5mins to pick up his things that had fallen as the rabbits kept jumping as soon as they saw jungkook. Taehyung waited till the younger male was ready to go and then went with him to his next class.
It was quiet while walking so tae decided to speak
"If you don't mind me asking, is that song one of yours? "
"Huh? "
"The song that you sang that day, did u write it? " asked taehyung
Jungkook contemplated whether to tell him, because if he say 'yes' it would only raise suspicion as to why he wrote a sad song
After thinking he was about to reply but was cut off when
"Its okay if you don't want to say though" said taehyung
"Yes"
"Huh? " asked confused
"I did write that song"
"Oh...I won't ask anymore about it... " assured taehyung as he felt that jungkook was uncomfortable about that topic
"Hmm... "
They went inside the class and sat down in the last row, the principal entered the class , said 'good morning' which was repeated by the students and then started with the lectures.
That's when taehyung remembered that he wanted to ask jungkook about the programme hosted by the music class. He wanted to know if jk was going solo or he could be Jungkook's partner with whatever they're doing.
Since they we're in class taehyung couldn't talk but he had to ask him, that's when he saw a plain paper under his book. He quickly took it and wrote 'what are you doing for the music programme?? :) '.
He passed the paper to jungkook who was sitting a few centimeters (like 20cm) away from him.
Taehyung saw jungkook widen his eyes as tae passed the paper in a swift move as to not get caught by the teacher. It was so sudden
_why do you look so cute even while looking at a piece of paper?!? Ahhh so cute! His doe eyes mixed with a confused look! Everything about him is mesmerizing_thought tae and reminded himself the he should think that way. Yet again.
Jungkook picked the paper and wrote something on it and tossed it back to the black haired male.
'I haven't decided yet but I'm thinking of just playing any of the instruments with anyone'
'Oh....have you picked partner yet? ' asked tae
'Not yet' replied jungkook
'do you have anyone in mind? ' questioned taehyung as he was nervous of Jungkook's answer
'No'
That relieved the elder male. But now he had to ask jungkook if they can perform together.
_is it too soon to ask him? I mean, I just knew him for a few days, and asking if we can perform together.... won't it be too much, maybe I'll ask him while going home_ interpreted tae
The period was finally over and it was lunch break. Everyone dashed out of the classroom like hungry animals.
Jungkook took his sweet time to come out, when he saw that taehyung was waiting for him he asked "what are you doing? " in a monotone as always
"I just wanted to ask you if you wanna have lunch together, because you always eat alone with hoseok hyung"
Jungkook hesitated at first and he thought _why is he very friendly to me, but I guess he is expecting an answer right now and.....What could possibly go wrong? _
He nodded and tae took that as an answer and said "I also called my friend if that's okay with you" Jungkook nodded again
He went to the cafeteria and waited for hoseok and jimin, when they arrived they all sat together
"Hey kiddos, I already ate so I'm just gonna sit here and do my own thing "
Hoseok said and turned to jungkook and gave him a look and that's when jungkook started eating.
This always bugged taehyung
_why does he not eat properly?? Is there something that I don't know? Anything it might be, jungkook shouldn't skip meals! But this hoseok person knows something that I don't. I wish me and jungkook would get close enough so that he would tell me what it might be, *sigh* I guess not so soon._
"Jungkook, you're from music class right? "
Jungkook looked up from his tray to see jimin asking a question and he answered a small "yes" in tiny voice
_oh this boy will be the death of me_ thought Taehyung
"Then u must be having a programme regarding arts, so u have to perform right? "
Jungkook just nodded as a response
"Oh then what will you be doing, I heard its supposed to be with partners"
"I haven't decided yet" spoke jungkook.
Taehyung once again -as usual- noticed that jungkook was down. He knew that jungkook was never rude to anyone, so that's why everyone talks to him. But he just seems sad all the time.
Since the conversation ended and it was quiet until...
Taehyung just snatched Jimin's milkshake before he could drink it.
"Hey!! "
Before jimin could speak more, tae chugged it down.
"What the-" jimin was out of words
"Hmph" was all tae said
"What was that for?? "
"Well u stole my precious cheesecake yesterday, so its payback!! "
"Gasp. How dare you??! "
"Did you just verbally say the word gasp instead of acting it?? "
"So what? How can you do that to me? How did you have the heart to betray your hyung?? " sobbed jimin dramatically
"Well you should have thought of that before you ate mine "
"Well technically you ate mine the other day so I ate yours and now you eat mine again. That's not fair you duck face!! " argued jimin
" *actual gasp* if I'm a duck then you're a chicken, you chicken fac-"
Taehyung was cut off by someone giggling. He looked at jungkook who was giggling cutely. _awwwww_ he thought.
Jimin and tae just started laughing after thinking that they just spent a good amount of time arguing about cheesecakes and milkshakes while they heard giggles in the background
Tae was finally content that he saw jungkook smiling
Hoseok on the other hand was kinda shocked but didn't show it
_wow jungkook is actually smiling, and I'm so sure that taehyung shot jungkook a glance of satisfaction when he saw him smiling. That must mean that taehyung did that to make him smile.....right? _ thought hoseok but he was happy that his -brother from another mother- is happy.
