Kenzie POV
Filming is a lot of work, but it's also fun, except when you have to kiss your ex boyfriend. Is he even my ex? Or is Johnny still my boyfriend? I have no clue.
"Hey, Kenzie, you ready?" Nads asks and I nod, getting up from the chair I was sat in. This is so weird; I've been going through this day like a robot. But now it's lunch time, and I honestly don't want to go today, especially not if Johnny's going to do a big romantic gesture.
"You okay? You've been standing there for the past minute, thinking," Nadia tells me and I nod, still lost in thought. "Okay, sit down. Tell me."
Following her orders, I sit down and chuckle. "Well, Johnny and I haven't talked for the past few days. And today, we have to kiss. At least ten times. I'm not even sure what we are, but now I have to do that. Asher told Annie that there's something the guys are planning, something understated, but I don't even know what I'm going to say! I still like him, but what's he even going to do?"
"Girl. Your life is more dramatic than half of the TV shows I watch- and I watch Riverdale and Glee, thank you very much. Look, why don't you listen to what he has to say and then tell him how you feel?" She suggests. It makes sense that I would do that, but I still don't know what to do.
"Do I rehearse it or like just wing it?" I ask.
"Wing it, K. You'll be great if you speak from the heart. Now, go get Johnny back!" We link arms and walk over to the lunch room on set.

Johnny POV
If this goes badly, I will never live this down or get over it. Not like that's a lot of pressure or anything; I just have to somehow say the perfect thing in a few minutes to get my girlfriend back.
"You'll be fine, man. Just stop freaking out so much about it for Christ's sakes! You're going to give yourself a panic attack or some shit, not talk to her!" Hayden encourages me and I nod. He's right.
It's lunchtime, but I'm waiting a couple of minutes until I'm almost sure Kenzie will be in there before I ask to steal her for a minute to recite the epic speech I made.
"Bro, why are you still waiting? Hurry up and go get her before someone else does!" Asher shoves me out of the door, very politely.
I spot her immediately; dark brown hair shimmering in the bright lights of the room. She's so beautiful.
"Stop staring at her, dummy. Go talk to her!" Maddie whispers into my ear and I roll my eyes. Of course she's here wing-girling for me.
"What the hell are you doing on set? Aren't you supposed to be flirting with some dude?" I ask, confused. I thought Maddie had work.
"Nope. That's tomorrow, thank God! So, go over to my baby sister and tell her how you feel or I'll do it myself," Mads tells me and I sigh.
"This is horrible," I groan but walk over there anyways. I know Maddie will actually go over there and tell her so I have to now.
I nervously approach her table, and the girls look at me like they're already aware of what's going to happen. There's a lot of pressure regarding this.
"Hey, Kenzie. Can I talk to you for a minute?" I ask nervously. Annie sends me a discreet thumbs up, clearly cheering this on. All of the other girls smile at me, so I can only assume they're encouraging this too.
"Yeah," she nods after a few agonizing seconds of internal debate.
Kenzie follows me to the set where we're going to have to kiss later. I chose this exclusively for that reason.
"So, I'm really sorry about saying you have bad taste in guys and only date assholes. It was stupid and I shouldn't have said that. It did make, ironically, me an asshole too. Look, I really like you, and these past few days without you have been hell. Can we go back to dating?" I ask. It may not have been an epic romantic speech from a romcom, but I did pretty good.
"I really like you too, John. Thank you for apologizing. And yeah, let's get back together."
I give her a big kiss right then and there.

I have one more chapter of this, I just realized.
I don't like how many days I have free after this book is done.
