Evie's POV
When we got to school we went straight to the office because I had to get some papers for choir. When we walked in I noticed that there was a new student. He looked really familiar. I just couldn't put my finger on it until he turned around. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Sara's best friend Garrett. They were friends until Garrett had to move in 5th grade. I can't believe he's back.
Evie: Sara
Sara: What
Evie: Look
Sara: Where
Evie: Over there by the front desk
Sara: Holy shit it's Garrett
Evie: I know
Sara: Let's go say hey
Evie: I wish I could but I got to go to Mr. Alston's class before the bell rings.
Sara: Alright I'll see when the bell rings bye
Evie: Okay bye
Garrett
•In the office•
Sara: Garrett
Garrett: Sara
Sara: Omg I've missed you so much
Garrett : I missed you too
Sara: When did you move back into town
Garrett : Like 2 weeks ago
Sara: Well what classes do you have
Garrett : Uhhhh here's my schedule
Garrett's schedule
Sara: You have all the same classes as me
Garrett: Really
Sara: Yeah but we should start walking to 1st period
Garrett: Okay
•In 1st period•
Mr. Alston: Alright class I have a lot of work to grade so I'm giving y'all a free period. Don't be too loud though
Author's POV
Immediately after he said that Evie got 3 text messages.Evie already knew who it was cause she didn't talk to many people.
Evie did have detention but she also didn't want to go to the mall with Garrett and Sara. Only because every time those two get together they flirt a lot. Evie doesn't really care about them flirting she doesn't want to be a third-wheel. Plus detention gives her time to do all her homework before she gets home. Evie is one of the smartest girls in school and even her science class but she couldn't understand how she failed a very simple science test.
