Sherlock was cuddled up with John on the couch. They had recently become boyfriends much to everyone's surprise. John was the captain of the football team and Sherlock was a picked-on nerd. They were watching Thor. Sherlock was cheering on Loki while John tried to shush him. Movie night had become a thing for the two of them. When the movie finished Sherlock was in tears. John was trying to cheer him up without spoiling anything. Sherlock hated spoilers. "You know I can probably sing all the lyrics to any Disney song you can name," John said.
Sherlock turned to him. "What the fuck is a Disney?" he said.
John gasped. He tried to see if Sherlock was faking it. No, it was real confusion in his eyes. John grabbed the remote. "Buckle the fuck up and prepare for a long ass marathon while we cuddle you ignorant little shit," John said.
He changed the channel. They passed out halfway through Beauty and the Beast.
Years later when they were married Sherlock still quotes Disney movies. Turns out John couldn't sing every Disney song you could name. But Sherlock could.
