As Melina waited for Noe, tears dripped down her face. Now, she was very certain that she would continue to be an outcast. The glory she was supposed to use to redeem herself in the eyes of her parents and the whole kingdom had been taken by someone else. She was convinced that her life would become ten times more miserable than it was before.
She did not even notice that her brother was already beside her and had been shouting her name. "Melina!". She finally noticed him and looked up at him with a tear-stricken face. He hugged her and started consoling her with words. "Mel baby, I know you are sad about this new turn of events. I am sad too but, I know that something good will soon happen. I have never trusted Ashley and her mother. I do not know what they are trying to do but, I know they won't get too far with it. So, cheer up and let's practice some more. Aren't you eager to know the new power that might have been unlocked?"
Melina felt a lot better and with a new surge of hope, she stood up to start practicing. Noe suggested that they should find out if she already had water powers. He brought a cup and told her to concentrate on filling it. Melina did not even use up to one minute before the cup filled up and started overflowing. "Mel, I think you already have all the powers. We just need to list down all the possible powers and find ways to unlock them. I say that we visit the library right now". Melina agreed and they both tiptoed back into the palace, entered the library and shut the door.
They went back to that book which was about Navistar and read it in detail. Melina spoke; "Here it says that she had fire, air, ice, earth, water, heat, ability to conjure up anything she imagined even if it was a human being, healing powers, ability to trigger the rain, ability to make time stop and ability to create light and darkness. Out of everything Noe, I only have access to six. I guess I still have to find a way to unlock the remaining five. I am so tired right now though, can we start tomorrow?", she pleaded.
Noe nodded and took her back into a secret room that was in the palace which had been long forgotten. They made it her room during the time the king, queen and Nylah went to king Quan's kingdom. "See you tomorrow Mel and, make sure you sleep. Do not think of anything. You know you have to rest your mind and body so that you will have enough strength for practice tomorrow okay?"
Melina nodded and shut the door. As soon as she landed on her bed, she fell into asleep
I saw myself walking in a beautiful garden. Flower petals were falling from different trees. I was clad in a beautiful white gown. All of a sudden, the whole place became dark and my dress also turned black. I heard a sinister laughter in the background and I saw Olivia emerge from nowhere with a knife in her hands, pointing it at my throat.
