Kingston's POV:
He was silent.
Fuck, what the actual fuck did I do??
His grip on the steering wheel tightens, the veins on his hands and forearms pulse, sending tingles down my spine. He looks at me and only speaks three words.
"Daddy material, huh?" He asks through chuckles, his eyebrows raising. He licks his lip ring and clicks his tongue.
My face blushes red as I turn my body back toward the road, embarrassed. "I'm-I'm sorry Luke." Was all I mumbled out before I facepalmed myself harshly.
He takes my hand off my forehead and kisses it, slips his hand into mine, and keeps driving.
I blink confused but don't say anything, I just focus on the road ahead. His thumb rubs against my hand as he drives one-handed with the bottom of his forearm and palm. I let out a small smile of happiness as I glance at the handholding. He notices and returns the smile, and even lets out a tiny laugh.
"You're adorable, Kingston." He says, shaking his head.
My eyes widen as I scuff. "Is that a bad thing?" I ask, mocking him.
He laughs louder. "Of course not dork. You're adorable, but you're also funny,..and weird. I can't deal with 'normies'. I think that's why I get along with you and Miles so well, except, I think I recall that YOU'RE the one who called dibs." He says, grinning as I bush extremely red as I slide in my seat and hide my face.
"Hey, get up!" He says laughing.
"Nooooooo." I respond, slumped in the seat.
"Diana Kingston..." He warns.
Those tingles came back.
They creep down my spine into my womanhood. I cross my legs as I scramble to my proper sitting position.
Luke's POV:
Her legs crossed when my voice became low with sternness. It suddenly becomes clear. I grin as she obeys and chuckle low, tightening my grip around her hand. She remains seated, glaring out the window at the trees passing as we travel down the dirt road toward her house. She clicks her tongue when her mailbox comes into view, and looks at me.
"So, um.." was all she spoke before we both belly-laughed with each other after a moment of silence.
"So, I guess, I should ask, would you like to be my girlfriend?" I ask, kind of awkwardly, rubbing the nape of my neck.
She rolls her eyes and kisses my cheek. "Yess.." She whispers into my neck, this time, giving ME the tingles.
I pull into the driveway and put it in park, take her face and wrap my hand around it, leaning in for a kiss.
She leans in too, but her elbow slips, blaring the horn.
Her face suddenly turns red as the front door flips open and Mr.Tyler leaps out.
She chuckles.
"Oooppsss."
