Jay's POV
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LEFT HER?!"
I see Clint lean towards Nat, "he definitely gets the scariness from Sam."
"Jay, you need to calm down," Pops kneels down to my height. "You are a smart boy, so you know that your mom will be fine."
"YOU OF ALL PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THAT HYDRA EVOLVES! THEY HAVE FOR SURE FOUND A WAY TO CONTAIN HER!" I jab a finger into his chest. How do they just forget my mom?!
"Please calm down bud."
"CALM DOWN?! ARE YOU SHITTING ME?!"
"Hey! Watch your language, young man."
"Don't tell me to watch my language! You're not my mom, in fact, she's not even here because you FUCKING LEFT HER WITH HYDRA, SHITHEAD!"
"I just wanted to remind y'all that this kid is 4," Tony appears with a drink in his hand. I grab it and throw it against the wall. The only sound now heard is my heavy breathing. Until Stark mutters, "c'mon, I've been sober for months. I earned that drink." He walks away, shaking his head as he disappears.
I glare at the rest before leaving to go to my room. I mean, someone has to track her down, right?
——Time skip a few days——
Sam's POV
HYDRA has been giving me all they've got, and it's starting to hurt. I don't really know how long I've been here now, but I haven't been given any food or water. I think it's been about a day? Maybe two? I don't really know.
I am currently chained to wall, but slightly risen off of the ground. My arms are fully stretched and so are my legs. The exhaustion is finally getting to me and I almost fall asleep before another shock of electricity causes my body to seize up.
A man walks in, the same man from the first day. It appears that he is conducting all of the torturing. As long as I know who to kill when I'm out of here, I don't really care what he does. "You haven't been cooperating with us, тень. I'm afraid, you have brought this upon yourself." He watches me with a sadistic grin on his face. I suddenly hear the sound of a machine whirring and I brace myself to feel my limbs being ripped off of my body. However, it never happens.
The chains tighten slightly, forcing my posture to be perfect. That was when the most excruciating pain I have ever felt land on my back. I scream in agony and try to arch myself away from whatever is hurting so bad. The unknown substance is continuously dripped, every time worse than the last.
I hear an explosion from somewhere, but I'm in so much pain, I can't tell what it is for sure. Suddenly, the pain is too overwhelming, and I pass out.
I was contemplating doing more for this chapter but I literally could not think of anything to write as of now.
