"Hajiya" i yelled as i hug my lovely grandma , "maryamu noi( how are you) she answered going to her closet. "Hajiya you know i dont like this names , must you add the "u" at the end" i said pouting. "Baki da kunya ko(you are shameless ko)" she replied in her thick fulani accent, "when are you leaving?" she asked bringing out some jewellry boxes.
"After one week here , i'll go to ya marwan's in kaduna for 1 week, then i'll go to gombe for 3 days and then yerwa(borno)for 5 days then finally go back to abuja" i blurted panting as i fall on the bed. "Toh sannu gertual(well done chicken)" hajiya said , "haba hajiya" i said pouting.
"Did u meet ammar on your way?" she asked , "no , i think he is in his room i'll check" i answered. Ammar is hajiya's last born out of four , hajiya is my maternal grandma. The first is Amuna my mom 43yrs , then second is uncle sagir 40 yrs ,then the third is umm khulsum(anty ummi) 37 yrs and the last Ammar 24 yrs. They are kanuri / shuwa arab from beni shiekh borno state. Uncle sagir stays in london while anty ummi stays here in yola.
"Alright then , go and freshen up and come down for lunch" she said , i stood up picked my lv handbag and trolley and went to my room , yah i know!, i have a room everywhere😜.

I unlocked the door and walked in and a scent of turaren wuta(incense) hit my nostrils. I dropped my bags and walked into the shower. After all my bath basics i rubbed my body shop strawberry lotion , i wore a white high waist pallazo , a pink long sleeve top. I untied my messy dark and silky low bun and it hit my lower back perks of being fulani and half shuwa😌. I oiled the hair with coconut and lavender oil and also a new hair cream i got olive oil and vitamin E with shea butter. I combed the hair and tied it into a ponytail, then sprayed a dolcesherrif perfume to go.
I cleaned up and picked up my phone , just when i was about to leave i noticed that the room has changed from the all pinkish girly room into a mature all white room. The bed , mini library , photo shelf , night stand , bed side drawer and dressing mirror they were all white even the painting.
Wow i cant believe i didnt notice , i really havent been in yola for long now*sigh*. I closed the door behind me and went downstairs.
"Ouch" i yelped rubbing my forehead , did i bump into a stone or something??. I looked and i saw ammar , AMMAR!! i squealed hugging him tightly , "hey there lil sis" he said hugging me back. "Am fine" i replied breaking the hug , "your hair has increase fah " he said ruffling my hair."Ammar!!" I yelled fixing my hair , "thats uncle ammar for you" he said folding his arms across his chest smirking.
"Haa!😂 in your dreams" i said sticking my tongue out at him "run for your life" he yelled and i started running towards the dining, i ran and hid behind hajiya panting. "Kodi doyatta?(why are running?)" hajiya asked raising her eye brow , "wallahi ammar on( wallahi its ammar)" i replied."you two have'nt stopped your childishness ko" hajiya said immediately ammar arrived , "hajiya she started it ai" he said pouting , " no,you started" i defended. "Both of you should shut up and eat" hajiya yelled and we both sat down sulking.
I served myself fried basmati rice and grilled chicken with fura da nono. I looked up and saw ammar struggling with his chicken , he was using fork and knife instead of his hands wai irin fresh guy dinan😂💔 . I smiled remebering our old memories , ammar is my uncle but more like a brother , he's tall , fair skined and a pink lips , one sided dimple , dark curly shuwa hair and side burnsss🔥.he studies architecture in alhan university bahrain. He's arrogant but only to strangers , hes kind , nice and generous and super duper funny and fun to be with.
Aylah always had a crush on him , speaking of aylah i have'nt call her since morning , i made a mental note to call her after i eat.
"Yusrah when you are done i'll give you a message to take to my friend, ammar will take you" hajiya said and i nodded my head. I finished eating and ran back to my room to call aylah. I called and she picked on the first ring😌❤.
"HEYYY BESTYYY!" She yelled and i had to move the phone from my ear , "do you want to deaf me ne " i hissed rolling my eyes "mumu kawai , i hate you" i blurted again. "Nah you love me like that" she said and i could imagine her sticking her tongue out , "anyway how's yola , hajiya and omg! Ammar , have you seen him , how does he look now " she said in one breath.
"Calm your horses , yola is fine but chilly , hajiya is good and ammar looks the same as always. What have you been up to?" I replied."hmm nothing much oo , but kai ai you know ._TheShashiSiblings on IG right?" She asked. "Yah , what happened" i replied , "hmm they posted fadeel's picture for their friday post , kin gan shi ne i never been so proud to be fulani " she said sighing dreamily.
"I thought you talk to ameer shashi " i asked , "yeah but fadeel is wayy finer" she whined. "Ke ki ka sani" i hissed and we continued talking for almost 2 hours. It was time for asr so i ended the call and prayed. "Lets go yusrah" ammar said closing the door behind him. I threw an abaya on my outfit and slipped into my dune flats and hung my lv bag on my shoulder, sprayed my david walker pef and walked out.

I looked outside the window and a busy street of yola came in view , car horns , fulani women and their fura and people minding their business. It was still chilly even at 4 pm , ammar rolled down the glass and a cold air hit my face like my cold past anytime am in yola.
"So how've you been?" Ammar asked , "fine i guess" i replied. "Look at me yusrah , who am i to you?" He asked and i turned to look at him. "Amma..." i started "JUST ANSWER ME MARYAM!" he roared and i gulped i just hit a nerve , trust me you dont wanna see him angry. "My bestfriend , uncle , brother and humandiary" i replied.
"Then why are you hiding things from me" he asked , "i dunno its just been hard for me since he passed away and i feel its my fault" i replied. "I know its hard for ypu and it wasnt your fault" he said and we had a pep talk and now we are all smiles😊.
After a few minutes we arrived at a white and ash mansion more like a real estate. We got down and started walking to the front door , we passed a big fountain and next to it was some grass shaped into a name , curiosity got the best of me so i looked and it read OMG! "SHASHI". "Are we in shashi mansion?" I asked ammar and he replied a yes as if its no big deal , i secretly snapped it for aylah. "Why didnt you tell me" i pouted , "well now you know and your dressing is ok i know thats whats bothering you " he smiled and pressed the bell.
After a few second a girl of about 23 summers came in view dressed in a white jeans and mustard knee length top , her hair was tied into a ponytail , shes fair , model figure has pouty lips , long pointed nose and full lashes and brows and then it suddenly clicked to my head this is suha_shashi aylah showed me her pic once.
"YA AMMAR!" she yelled hugging him, okurrrrr "and you must be yuarah" she said smiling and i smiled back , "yeah yeah yeah whatever" ammar said entering inside. I hissed and suha rolled her eyes and we bursted into laughter , we came inside and she closed the door."maamah is in her parlour come lets go"she said leading us inside a golden and white parlour masha Allah❤!.
We walked inside and saw a woman of about 60 years sitting down wearing an orange and balck gown , i dont know but she had an aura of authority around her , well why wont she when her son is among the top richest ammar and i bent down and greeted her in fulfulde.
"Noi (how are you)" she asked as ammar and i greeted her , "jam(fine)" ammar answered. "Am going to fadeel's room bye"he said and disappeared.
She asked about everyone , my schooling and i gave her the paper bag containg 3 gold sets and a diamond set and she asked suha to take me to her room. Immediately i entered suha's room a deep khumra sent hit my nostrils and i fell in love with the room , it was ash and white with mini lights and a swinging chair.
The maid bought refreshments and 3 people barged into the room , "oh hi you must be yusrah , am tahir raees" he smirked and i waved at him such a flirt😏 , "hamza ameer" the other one said and i asked him if he knew aylah and turns out he actually likes her. "Am salma iman" the girl said and we started gisting raees and ameer went to the mosque to pray magrib while we prayed in the room.
"Ammar said you should come down" ameer peeped and closed the door. I picked my things and suha lead me into a room aka the game room.
"Ammar lets go" i said tapping him on his shoulder , immediately the words flew out of my mouth i felt a pair of eyes boring holes into my skin like dude do u wanna eat me.
"Hey am afeed" the other person said and i smiled back"hi". I turned and left the room , we went downstairs , bade maamah goodnight and went outside."bye yusrah" suha , ameer , raees and salma waved as i enter the car.
"Toh ammar bye , will talk to you later"fadeel said smiling and two round and deep dimples showed and i gulped hard his gaze averted and our eyes locked for a few seconds , i quickly looked away. Ammar came in ignited the car and we zoomed off.

It was already 11 and i was having a headache since after dinner , so i stayed back in my room , i was about to sleep when my phone beeped indicating a message , i checked a it was a friend request in snapchat from afeed.ms , i accepted and a message popped up.

I switched off my phone and connected it to the charger , i did my duas , switched off the lights and drifted to sleep with one thing in my mind , why was fadeel looking at me soo intensly.😴😴😴👋👋...
