jax is definitely the more initiative one of the two. he oftentimes is the one that comes up with pranks and stands up for his brother. he's a reckless thinker and most of his plans aren't well thought out at all, usually ending up with him or others getting hurt in some way. he's very protective and watchful of his brother, feeling responsible for him in a way. trusting others is a big issue for this one and if he declares you an enemy, you're most likely gonna be an enemy for the rest of your life. a.k.a. he holds grudges like no fvcking other.
maxen, on the other hand, is the more sweet and innocent one of the duo. he usually only gets his mischievous ways from being around his brother. but when he's away, maxen is actually pretty shy and closed off. he's a gullible fellow and will pretty much believe anything you say to him (hell, he still believes in santa). besides this though, he is a real sweetheart and is usually the one apologizing to others for his brother or if a prank goes way too far. he's also very clingy towards others, especially his brother.

BACKGROUND
|BACKSTORY|
jax and maxen were pretty much on their own from the day they could walk. they were born on the streets, and they were raised on the streets. although they didn't have a real family, they met an old street dog named scrapp that taught them everything they know today. but good things never last. a couple months after they met, a large storm blew past the city they were in, separating each of them away from the other. they were on their own for almost a month. during this time, the train accident happened, causing jax to nearly lose his life. soon enough, the brothers found each other and swore to never lose sight of each other. scrapp was never seen again though, and they assumed he didn't make it. the two brothers soon became the pranksters that they're known by today, and lived on without another worry.

• during the time they were septated, jax actually lived with a family for a while and grew attached to them. he ended up running away, determined to find maxen. he never told maxen about this though because jax doesn't want him to feel responsible for the fact that he left.

• during the time they were separated, maxen actually found scrapp and they traveled together, looking for jax. scrapp ended up getting caught by animal control while distracting them so maxen could get away and he never saw him again.
