Toni woke up extra early today. She wanted to make sure this date would be perfect because it was Cheryl's first-ever date.
"Make sure its red roses, please," Toni told the guard.
"Of course, Ms. Topaz, " he nodded before walking away.
So, the plan was to walk to the park, have a picnic, and just enjoy the fresh air. Toni also thought about going to visit Emily and Renesme. Cheryl loves hanging out with the girls recently, and the girls love hanging out with "princess Cheryl", as they call her.
Cheryl knew she was going on a date with Toni but what she didn't know was what they were gonna be doing on said date.
Toni just told her to relax until its time for the date.
Cheryl was excused from Royal studies for this date. She never liked missing any days but if it was worth it then she'd make an exception.

"Come on! Tell me, please!" Cheryl begged.
They were in their bedroom, Toni was putting on her dress shirt. She was gonna wear black slacks, with some black dress shoes.
It was almost time for their date. Cheryl was begging to know what they were doing.
"Come down. You'll find out when we go. It's called a surprise for a reason." Toni chuckled, checking herself out in the mirror.
She looked good, She thought to herself.
"Ugh! Fine! I'll be downstairs." Cheryl stormed out.
"Princesses." Toni rolled her eyes.

Toni entered the kitchen, Cheryl was sitting with her dad at the counter.
"Are you ready?" Toni asked the redhead.
"Yeah," Cheryl responded.
"You look very nice, Toni." Clifford complimented.
"Thanks." She smiled.
Cheryl walked out of the kitchen, she was being a brat. She wanted to know what they were gonna be doing on the date, she always got what she wanted, and now that she isn't she just can't handle it.
They walked out, four guards at bay.
Cheryl had an intense pout on her face.
"Are you really upset that I didn't tell you about the date?" Toni asked.
"Yes." Cheryl pouted, even more, walking further away from Toni.
Toni rolled her eyes, pulling Cheryl by her hand.
"Stop being like that." Toni held Cheryl's hand, interlacing them.
"I'm not being like anything." Cheryl objected, her blue eyes shining in the sun.
"Yes! You're being bratty Cheryl." Toni chuckled.
Cheryl rolled her eyes. A flash startled Cheryl making her jump.
It was a camera flash, paparazzi
"I forgot about them." Toni huffed. The guards got the guy away from the couple.
"Come on. Let's go to our date." Toni said, pulling Cheryl along with her.

"You got all my favorite foods!" Cheryl exclaimed, taking out the strawberries, watermelon, and a Ceasar salad.
"Well, I had to ask your parents what you like." Toni shrugged.
"Thanks!" Cheryl stuffed her mouth with strawberries. Toni giggled at the girl.
"You're a princess, but eats like a 2-year-old baby." Toni joked.
Cheryl quirked a brow, " I eat like a 2-year-old?" Cheryl asked.
Toni nodded with a smirk. Cheryl huffed, having enough of Toni's teasing.
She threw a strawberry at Toni, the juice splashed everywhere.
"Hey! It took me a long time to put this outfit together!" Toni said. Cheryl laughed, getting up to run away.
Toni picked up a water bottle since it was hot out today how about she lets Cheryl cool off.
"Get back here, you!" Toni yelled, laughing as she chased her fianeé. The guards were blocking the way so the area was closed off.
Just for Toni and Cheryl to have their date privately.
Cheryl ran behind a tree, covering her mouth to stay quiet.
"Come out, come out, where ever you are!" Toni said, she knew exactly where Cheryl was.
Cheryl let out a squeak of surprise when Toni jumped out from behind the tree with a smile on her face.
She ran away again.
When Toni caught up with Cheryl, she splashed the water on Cheryl.
Cheryl yelled out as the cold water hit her skin.
She fell into Toni causing Toni to fall to the ground with a laugh.
Cheryl laid on top of Toni in a fit of laughter, Toni laughed along with her.
Once their laughter died down, they stared into each other's eyes.
Cheryl leaned down, pecking Toni's lips softly. She pulls back, opening her eyes to look at the brown ones that stared back hers, surprise-filled within them.
"That's gonna be a regular thing now?" Toni smirked.
"Mmm. I want it to be." Cheryl smirked back.
"For someone who's never done any of this, You're very confident." Toni smiled.
Cheryl shrugged, "I learned from the best." She said.
"Mhm. I agree." Toni nodded with a smile.
Cheryl got up off of Toni, helping her up.
"Thank you." Toni smiled, dusting off her clothes.
Cheryl dusted Toni's back off.
They went back to their picnic.

Toni and Cheryl stood in the doorway of Renesme and Emily's hospital room.
"On a count of 3..." Toni whispered.
"1...2...3!" Cheryl said. Toni opened the door.
Renesme smiled, "You guys do know that we could hear you right?"
"So?" Toni shrugged, " it was the thought that counts." Toni said.
Cheryl went over to hug the girls, "How are you guys?" She asked.
"I'm fine! They said that I'm getting better!" Renesme smiled.
"Really!? That's good!" Cheryl smiled, she turned to Emily.
"I'm fine. I'm also getting better!" She said.
"That's good!" Cheryl replied.
She sat at the end of Emily's bed, Toni sat at the end of Renesme's bed.
"What we're you guys up too? You smell like dirt and grass." Emily scrunched her face up.
"We are on a date." Toni smiled. Cheryl nodded with a smile.
"Omg! Really?!" Both girls exclaimed.
"Yep!" Toni said.
"Then what the hell are you guys doing here? Go finish your date." Renesme said.
"Yeah!" Emily pipped in.
"We are! This is apart of our date, coming to visit you." Cheryl explains.
"Oh. Well, then that's cool too." Renesme smiled.

"Did you guys enjoy yourselves?" Clifford asked.
"Yeah! Toni took me on a picnic, then we went to go volunteer at the children's hospital." Cheryl told her father.
"That's good. But these paparazzi, we're they there?" He asked.
"Yeah... What happened?" Toni asked, going over to the king.
He has his phone in his hand, looking at the photo of Cheryl and Toni kissing while they were on the ground.
Toni smiled at the picture. Cheryl was on top of Toni, their lips locked.
"I mean, I don't mind you guys showing affection in public but at least try to make sure no one is around," Clifford said politely as he could.
Cheryl's smile dropped, same as Toni's.
"Why? They're just being them. Why can't we be us?" Cheryl asked.
"I didn't mean any harm, cher, its just I don't want things spiraling around the internet of my daughter having private moments with her fianeé." He explained.
"Its okay dad. I'll be- we'll be fine." Cheryl said, smiling at Toni. Who nodded of agreement.
"Okay! But if anything gets too out of hand, I, as King, must convict consequences." He said sternly.
"Okay, dad." Cheryl nodded.
They excused themselves to, going up to their room.

After showering, separately, Toni and Cheryl go into the bed.
It was close to 10 PM when they arrived back home. They were tired.
"I had fun today. Thanks, Toni." Cheryl said, cuddling into Toni more.
"Glad you enjoyed yourself, Cheryl." Toni smiled, kissing the girl's forehead.
Cheryl hummed in agreement.
"We should do that again sometime." Cheryl yawned.
"Let's worry about that later, go to sleep." Toni yawned.
"Okay. Goodnight." Cheryl whispered.
"Good night," Toni replied. They both fell asleep.

Toni woke up to whimpering and crying noises. She didn't know where they were coming from.
She looked down at her, crying, fianeé.
"Cher? Are you okay?" Toni asked, rubbing her eyes.
Cheryl shook her head 'no'
Toni frowned, "What's wrong?" Toni asked, wiping some of Cheryl tears.
"I just miss him so much," Cheryl whispers.
Toni said as she knew who Cheryl was talking about.
"Shh, It's okay. Its gonna be okay." Toni soothed. She pulled Cheryl into her chest, Cheryl's tears were soaking Toni's shirt but she didn't care.
Cheryl's cries calmed down, Toni rubbed small circles on her back. Toni looked at the alarm clock that sat on the dresser; 1:45 AM.
"Want to talk about it in the morning and try to get some sleep?" Toni asked.
"Mhm." Cheryl nodded. Toni sighed, holding Cheryl close.
She started humming a calming tone to Cheryl.
Toni's dad used to sing or hum to her if she ever felt down.
She thought maybe it would help Cheryl too, which it did.
Cheryl was out within 10 minutes.
