"You do know that what you want me to do for you is illegal right?"
"I know that's why I want you to make this shit look legit she must not suspect anything" I said
"Mr Williams I don't like doing illegal things"
"Then why the hell you in my office? You knew what I wanted and you let me hire you, go through everything with you and now you wanna back down? Why you wasting my time huh?" I asked
"I'm sorry sir"
"Get out of my office" I said
"What about my money for our session?" He asked
"I ain't gonna pay you a cent,you not my lawyer" I said
He sighed
"Fine I'll do it" he said
"You better not back down again or I'm getting rid of you and I won't pay you" I said
"Yes sir, I understand" he said
I smiled and drank my whiskey
"So it has to be one of those beauty competitions or some type of giveaway you know ladies like free things" I said
He nodded writing everything down
"Make sure it has pink and gold" I said
"Yes sir"
"When you're done with it you must email me the draft before sending it to her" I said
"Will do Sir"
"That's it, we're done" I said
He stood up and shook my hand then he left
When I'm done with Crystal she won't know what hit her

I just got home from work I put my bags on the kitchen counter and got a bottle of water I walked into the living room and found Crystal
She was crying her eyes out I don't know where my mom is but she took Nayely with her
"Hey Crystal, why you crying? What's the matter?" I asked
"You don't care" she said
Well I really don't but I'm not tryna look like an asshole
"I do care you're my wife remember?"
"I have astrocytoma" she said
"What's that?"
"It's a brain tumor"
"What?"
"I know you don't believe me but here are the results I'm dying Meek" she said crying
I took the paper and read it damn she's finally dying
Christmas came early this year
"Don't worry it's gonna be okay, we're gonna fight it together and win this" I said

"Yeah, you're the mother of my child and I wouldn't want Nayely to grow up without her mother" I said

She pulled away and kissed my cheek

"It's my job to be by your side and support you through everything, we gonna beat this" I said
She smiled and held my hand

I was having dinner with a very hyper Nayely maybe my mom gave her too much sugar
"You finished eating?" I asked
"No no no no noooo" she said yelling
She stopped and came to me she looked at my plate and put her small hand out
"No, here's your plate eat your own food" I said
"I don't" she said
"You don't what?" I asked
"I don't" she said
"Chile sit down and eat your food" I said
"I don't" she said
I sighed
"You want me to get my big belt?"
I threatened
"No" she said
"Then sit down and eat your food" I said
She quickly sat down
"Now eat" I said giving her the plate
She started eating I also ate my food when we were done eating we called Nicki and Nayely did a lot of talking for a 2 year old with very poor vocabulary and missing teeth
"Let's go to bed" I said picking her up
"Mama" she said
"She's out with Granny" I said
"Go? Bye bye?"
"Yes she's gone" I said
She kissed my nose
"It's time for you to sleep" I said
We walked to her bedroom
"Dada seep?" She asked
"No I'm grown I'll sleep when I feel like it"
I put her on her bed she laid there
"Seep" she said pointing to the spot next to her
"Okay I'm gonna sleep next to you" I said
I put her little bonnet on her small head and kissed her forehead
I switched off the lights and slept next to her
"Kiss kiss" she said
I kissed her one last time and closed my eyes

Crystal woke me up and said she has prepared breakfast for me I went to the kitchen with her I found my mom taking her vitamins
"Don't you wanna have breakfast with us?" I asked
"Oh no I'm going to be late" she said
"Late for what?"
"I'm volunteering at the old age home and I don't want to be late for my first day at work" she picked up an apple
"Good luck and have fun"
"I will, goodbye y'all" she said then went out
"I hope it isn't too much for you" Crystal said giving me my plate
"No it's okay, thank you" I said
"I know this seems a bit weird but after the conversation we had yesterday I realized that you still care about me"
"Yeah I do"
I started eating she was just standing there looking at me while smiling
"Ain't you eating?" I asked
"I already ate cause I had to take my medication" she said
I nodded and continued eating her food wasn't that bad but it wasn't as good as Nicki's food
"So any plans for today?" She asked
"Work as usual" I said
"I wish you could have more time to spend with us, Nayely misses you" she said
"Yeah but I have to make money to make sure that y'all live a good life"
I started feeling hot
"I really appreciate that" she said
"Can you please get me some water, I'm feeling hot" I said
She rushed to the tap and got me a glass of water
"What's wrong? Is it spicy?" She asked
"I don't know" I said
She gave me the glass of water I quickly drank it and felt worse I felt like I was dying
"Are you okay? Meek what's wrong?" She asked
I stood up from my chair I wanted to go outside and get some air maybe I might feel better I fell on the floor she got on top of me with a smirk
"Now it's just me and you baby no more Nicki" she kissed me
"You're gonna love being around me" she said
She got off and dragged me to the basement
I couldn't move my body I'm fuckin' paralyzed
"There's not going to be a wedding anymore, you are mine" she said kissing me again
"I'll be back" she said
She left
My phone started ringing in my pocket I couldn't take it out
