*Averi pov
everyone rushed through the doors for monay. Her family, some of her friends. Her mother and father were crying and taking it hard. Her sibilings were all the same way too, broken. I couldn't accept the fact that she just dropped dead and died like that right in front of me.
monay was someone i really connected and begin to really go close to. she was my only female friend and now she is dead, still by the cobras.
i looked over at major who was comforting sonny who was crying. I never seen him cry or come to think of it any man cry before.
the reason were all here is so the doctors can atleast try to revive her.
i stayed in the corner trying to collect my feelings and thoughts about this whole situation. this just isnt right. why would they kill monay? what did she ever do to them? why didnt they come after me or major? what if were next? what if sonny is next? many answeres i wanted to find out.
it seemed like years waiting on the doctor but when he came out, we all gathered to see what he is going to say.
"we were too late to save her. she is pronounced dead" the doctor says.
everyone broke down including me.
it was the saddest thing i think i ever had to deal with. i dealt with people picking on me about my looks and how i dress, but none of those things can compare to how im feeling now. Monay build my confidence when i really needed it. she was someone i leaned on when i wanted to give up. I just wish this would of never happened.
the police pulled sonny on the side while the family collect there thoughts and gather there feelings.
"she.... she still here bae, she still here" major says rocking back and forth in the chair, looking at ground with his hand ballled up.
i sighed and wiped my tears and took a seat next to him.
"baby, i know it feels like it and in our hearts she always will be"
"no i mean, she still here with us right now. breathing,walking,talking,and doing things with us. hanging with us. making stupid jokes with us. she....she still here averi, she not dead. Not monay. not my nigga, nah not that one"
he just like me, indenial of the her death.
"major, as much as i wish that was true...."
"NO! IT IS! SHE STILL FUCKING HERE! THIS IS ALL JUST A DREAM! SHE STILL HERE!" he yelled
"major please calm down, were all hurt too. Monay is in a better place, things happen"
"things happen? man this shit wasn't suppose to happen. It was suppose to be me! not her. man when i found out who killed her ima fuck them up and thats on my life. i wont rest until i do, me and sonny promised that" he says
i tried to analyze over how the action all went down today but i still couldn't pull it together.
then....thats when it got me.
Yasmin
"major...." i called thinking about her
"what?" he asked rubbing his face in fustration
"are you still roomate with yasmin?" i asked
"no why?" he asked
"something not right about this or her" i said
"what chu mean?" he asked
"Yasmin says her room was being remodled and done, so she had to stay at her your dorm. but.... when yasmin left she didnt leave this campus cause i saw her around. she just left your dorm. if yasmin dorm is being remodled?....where is she staying?" i asked
"she probably found some place" major says
"something tells me yasmin has something to do with monay being shot, i just don't know how" i said
"yasmin dont seem like a killer, i mean when i met her" he says
"thats because you was to busy swapping spit with her. Monay had a funny feeling about Yasmin. i think monay and her were beefing."
"yeah they got into with eachother remember?"
"yeah but i think things got to a more deeper level. Like somethng else made their hatred bigger and more serious."
"i wonder what it was" i said

*Monay pov
"Seriously sonny My parents aren't to fond of guys with tattoos, gold all around their neck, and pants sagging. They wanted me to date a guy with a brief case with a suit on and shit. My daddy is a lawyer and a CEO. I'm not some spoiled daddy girl but I've always lived up to his expectations. When it was time for a relationship he still wanted to control my feelings. I hated it. I have four brothers. 2 are my step brothers but, all of them are just clones of my dad. There his puppets. My dad controlled their love lives , so I guess when it came to me I told him I wasn't going to allow it. He chased every guy I was actually liking, away. I just don't want the same thing to happen to you when we go meet them for spring break. "
"What about your mom? " he asked me
Tears suddenly built up in my eyes
"I never.... met my mother, it's always just been my father and my brothers. "
"What about your step mom?"
"Their divorced. My dad was and still is a workaholic. My mom left him when I was only 4 days old because she felt some responsibility would help him understand that life ain't all about work. My daddy did take care of me and cut down his hours, but my mom never came back. " I explained
"Come here bae" he called
I scooted over on the couch and wrapped my arms around him.
"You are the most closest thing to perfect and if your dad or family can't see it then fuck them. Ima be here for you no matter what on some real shit."
"Thank you baby" I kissed him and laid on his chest.
"I gotta go get ready for work, I'll see you later ok? " I said kissing him
"Ight, I guess me and major can go shoot some hoops in the gym after he gets through with averi"
"I swear there a power couple, after all the things they have been through, they give me life" I told him
"I never thought my nigga would fall in love but, damn, I'm glad me and him did" I paused for a second
"Your.... In love with me?"
"Yeah" he says
That brought tears to my eyes
"Aweeee sonny!" I cheered
"Ha, go get ready for work bae!" He tried to change the subject
"Ight catch you later" I grabbed my purse and headed out the door and ended up bumping into yasmin.
"Bitch the fuck you want, ain't nothing or nobody in there for you!" I said.
"I was coming to get my belongings, so move" she demanded.
I grabbed an extra room key sonny gave me and locked the door. "
Nobody home now run along"
"Listen...Monay? Look I know you might think you can whoop my ass, but see where I'm from bitches like me don't fight, we kill. So I'm pre warning you to fall back and move out of my way because I can shut you down real quick. "
"Ain't nobody scared of you Lil mama, Bitch I'm crazy too! I want you to attempt to kill me, I swear you not about it. Now like I said please move the fuck around! "
"Farewell, ima just say this. I always get what I want, and if you're in the way, then your going to be eliminated. I just hope you have a nice funeral" she smiled and walked off
"Weird Bitch" I rolled my eyes and continued to walk away.
That lil trick got me messed up. Trying to scare me.
She ain't gonna do shit.
