Tyuzu's POV
"Hey, hotstuff."
I jumped slightly as I felt my face fluster. I turned to see Jihyo, smirking at me through my open window.
I shook my head. "What're you doing here?"
Jihyo laughed. "Your window was open. How was I not gonna climb through it?"
I rolled my eyes. "I have theee tests tomorrow, you know!"
Jihyo laughed. "No shit! Three?"
I smiled. "Welcome to Emerson, dude."
Jihyo snickered. "You're such a freaking Emmie, you nerd."
I gasped. "At least I'm not going to your common folk school."
Jihyo returned my gasp with a much more dramatic one. "For your information, I could've gone to Emerson if I wanted. I got in. But Mina didn't, so we decided to both go to High."
"Damn, really?" I questioned.
"Yep," she responded, putting an extra pop on the p.
We were silent for a little, but it wasn't awkward. It was the comfortable silent that only close friends and partners shared.
I enjoyed it.
After a little bit of talking, she left me alone to study. I smiled as I saw her climb down off my roof.
I really liked her already. I felt this . . . connection I had never felt before. Maybe . . . it was . . . no. You're both girls. That's ridiculous.
