PROLOGUE.
mike wheeler is one of new york's best journalists. at the very young age of 23, him and his life long best friend and editor, lucas sinclair have covered many major stories and issues for the biggest newspaper company in the city. however what happens when both boys find themself's owing their boss after upsetting the one and only, jim hopper.
jim hopper was a known man... but not technically for the reasons you might be thinking. he was mysterious... creepy even. he was never seen around other people... never seen leaving his house... and no one really knew why he was this way. people only knew to stay very VERY far away from him.
eleanor or better known as el hopper left her father long before he became known as the mysterious man of new york city. she, of course, had her reasons to go live with her mother but if we're being completely honest... no one even knew jim hopper had a daughter. either that or many people just forgot. it wasn't until one fluke of an incident where she finally had the courage to visit him... making her run into two very unlucky boys in the process.
