Chapter 26 : CHRISTMAS
ISABELLA'S POV
Dad asks,
" So what do you wanna do ?"
" Anything ?" I reply
" How about we go camping ?
Just us ?"
" I would love to " I say excitedly
" Decided , camping it is .
We'll be leaving on 26th morning ,
till then pack your bags and stuff " Dad says
" Yeah! " I say rather excitedly
" Oh hello mister ?
You both are going to help with decoration and stuff as well ! Tomorrow everyone's coming for dinner , remember?" Mom intervenes .
I know the odds are not in her favour as she doesn't enjoy camping much ,
But spending time with us ,
is what she wants so
she's happy nonetheless .
" Ally and Shahid are going to be there ?"
"Yes" Dad replies
"How many times should I remind you to add 'aunt' and 'uncle' before their names ?" Mom sighs
"Mom , I used to call them that but Ally doesn't like that at all "
"She is right , Shahid says the uncle tag makes him look old " Dad joins
"Typical of them" Mom sighs yet again , lol !
" Also , after all that I'll need to get back to work so I won't be able to spend much time with you , I am sorry kiddo " saying that , he ruffles my hair
" It's okay as long as you try to avoid your #mobile during camping"
" I'll 'try' to avoid"
Obviously I can't say don't carry it , because dad has to respond to some important messages on time .
Besides whenever he doesn't need it, I can use it to click pictures. After all it's IPhone X .

After that , I call Ro and he picks it up immediately.
" Anything important?" He asks
"Yaa"
" Okay speak fast , I just texted Jess I'll call her "
"So talk to your beloved gf ,

" As you wish " he says and hung up !
Like seriously! This guy got issues !
I decided to pack my bags already and in the spare time , I'll just read a short story on wattpad .
Once I'm halfway done with my to do task , Ro finally decides to give me a ring .
I pick it after a few seconds ,
" Yeah?" He starts
No hello , no hi , fine!
"Will you come to the cafe with me ?"
" With you?"
" I mean , you , daisy , Patrick I.e her boyfriend and me "
" Oh I thought you were asking me on a date or something, especially when you know I'm in a relationship already "
" Whatever . So you in or not?"
" If I say No"
" Then I'll slap you twice just like that day "
" If I say yes "
" Then I'll slap you once for being such a arrogant jerk"
" Yes it is " he says and hung up on me yet again!
After few seconds, I receive a text
'When and where ?'
'Hell , now , you coming?' I respond
' Darling I already have a special place reserved for me , a 'Throne' '
' Was I supposed to laugh?'
'Look in the mirror , you'll be able to see a good joke then '
'For that you need to be the one standing in front of that mirror'
'Oh come on! I'm anything but a joke'
' Whatever makes you sleep at night'
' You can help me with that if you want, lol'
'Omg! Why don't you fudge yourself?'

'I was about to leave you on read but then I felt pity on you'

I type and before I could process what I just did even though I didn't mean it , he read that message !
I wasnt expecting any reply from him then and I sure didn't get one .
So after a while of overthinking ,
I ended up calling him and obviously he didnt pick up the call .
So I just sent him another text stating,
' I'm sorry. Didn't mean that '
' Cafe Peter . Monday 11:30 brunch '
There after he seenzoned me .. yaa ..
But that was the least of my concerns .
" Sweetie " , My mom enters my room
" Yes mom "
" I'm going to the office and I'll come back in no time and then we'll start with decorations . Dad's home so if you want anything ask him or else Lavie is also there "
" Okay mom . No issues "
She hugs me and then goes .
I feel okay now but the fact that now
I did hurt Ro is what's making me sad .
But what he did these past few weeks wasn't exactly what we call 'loyal' is it ?
I know he didn't do it intentionally though ...
I am extending the topic bit too much?!
Yes , I have forgiven him because I understand his side of the story.
But I'm not ready yet to forget everything .

"Bella , please open the door "
"Okay!" I reply and drag my feet away from the mirror in front of which I spent quite a lot time trying to look presentable !
I ended up wearing an elegant gown , of mom's choice not me .
Suprisingly she was even okay with me wearing only pajamas .
Her words I quote,
' As long as you are not naked , anything is fine' .
Yes , she was trying to be funny about it but guess what ?
It didn't work out because Dad ended up giving her the look stating ,
'Not now wifey , don't test my patience especially when guests are going to be in the house , including kids.

Ugh !
I opened the door and there stood the most cutest specimen on the Earth , Bruno!
He literally jumped at me which caused me to lose my balance and
he fell over me .
At first , he started licking me and then stopped !
Poor boy , had to taste the make up which I ended up applying because
I had to look good today .
You see , God didn't make miracles while creating me .
"Bruno get off her " Ally says and
he obeys it.
He sits down beside me , his tail wiggling/waggling .
After me and Aunt Ally do that kissing gesture , I move to give Uncle Shahid a shug .
" Howz you ?" he asks
"Alive I suppose" I say and he chuckles .
"Jas!" I hear Ally's voice .
I already know this greeting each other is gonna take all the time in the world and the delicious food which should be in my tummy is gonna turn cold .
"I'll meet your mom before she kills me for being late even though she's usually the late comer " He jokes and goes inside .
Bruno follows his dad's footsteps .
I'm about to close the door when I see a car pulling over .
It's Uncle Nate's and his children get down .
"Hey Sweet heart " Riley says while walking towards me , followed by Ro in a freaking suit !
"You looking so damn pretty " she says
"You are looking hot " I reply and look at her red off shoulder one piece
"That I am " she winks and gets inside
Next is Ro , he looks at me and acts as if I am invisibe before entering the house .
Limits crossed of having mood swings !
What's his problem ?!
'You are his problem',
my mind replies !
" Isabella , I'm already in , you can close the door now " , Uncle Nate says and I finally get out of my trance .
After closing the door, I head inside .
I see Ally , Riley and Bruno admiring the Christmas tree which took mom and me quite a few hours to decorate last night .
We were so engrossed doing it while Shawn Mendes' songs played in the background, who may I add is our favourite singer , that we lost track of time .
Ultimate dad shouted ,
" MERRY CHRISTMAS!" and instead of us greeting him back , me and mom just got astounded .
Mom expected Dad to help and according to him he actually helped , in what if you may ask ,
then in selecting the christmas tree !
That too he didn't visit the store himself , one of his workers did and sent him a few pictures from which he forwarded one to mom and she surprisingly liked her husband's choice.
Reality is dad randomly selected one of them, what can I say now !

Mom and Shahid were lost in their own world , while Dad and Uncle Nate were busy talking as well .
I went towards Bruno and started playing with him .
I missed this no longer little creature a lot !
I heard footsteps entering the room as well .
" Isabella keep it near you , okay?" Grandfather mumbles
The only thing that my dad's dad is afraid of is a dog !
Yes , my grandparents came to visit everyone , especially me , obviously I'm their only grandchild.
So many people here today ,
my grandparents , parents, Riley ,
1 teen I.e me , 1 animal and Bruno.
Oh did I mention 1 animal I.e Royal ?
" Come on , let's eat up" Grandma says and everyone except me goes to the dining room.
While I am still in the living room , with Bruno on my lap who no longer fits there , Ro enters the room.
" This is the part where in we are supposed to go in there ",
he mocks and leaves.
Bruno jumps from my lap and follows Ro while I have no clue what's going on with us .
God bless his wife !
That's my only thought right now , lol.
I wash my hands and join rest of them .
Looks like only the oldies are having food , while Mom, Riley , Lavie and now she's gonna ask me as well to serve.
And here I was thinking of diving into the glorious food .
"Bella pass the juice to everyone "
" Okay mom"
All glasses are already set up , all I have to do is pour apple juice into them .
I do as I am told .
I start filling the last glass on the table , just as I do so , I look up to the person it belongs to .
Just then our eyes lock for a brief moment and the contact lasts until I feel a cold liquid touch my feet !
" BELLA!" Mom tells
Oh shit !
I instantly lift the container ,
realize that the juice overflowed from the glass and ended up spilling down , ultimately reached my feet .
Lavie wipes it all off , while I go to the washroom to clean my feet too .
I hear footsteps from behind,
thinking it is either Lavie or Mom ,
I continue washing my feet and mumbling 'Ready yet' by Sasha Sloan .
" You do know you can't sing , right ?"
Why god ? Why me ?
I turn around to find Royal standing right behind me .
" What are you doing here ?"
" Your stupidity " he says and lifts his arm which is covered with suit's sleeves which are wet !
Right ..
" Why didn't you lift your arm off the table immediately? "
" Because I was also lost "
" What?"
" Nevermind "
" What's gotten into your pants ?"
I finally ask , knowing all of the others are busy in the other room to notice us .
" Oh right , you are not the one who called me 'unfaithful' " he says sarcastically .
Then he removes his dark blue coat , leaving him in a tight fitting white half sleeved shirt and blue pant .
Rude!
And Hot !
" I apologized for it , didn't I ?"
" Oh you did . But you didn't mean it "
"That's what you think , then fine ! Anyways we enjoy picking fights with each other these days "
" I don't like it"
"You dont like me ?"
" I don't like fighting with you!"
" Glad to know I'm not the only one to think so " I reply and storm out !
