"So what's the plan?" Miles asked Parker.
Parker thought for a second, rubbing his chin.
Miles copied this action, making Peter snort.
"Got it." He said. "Peter will crawl in through the vents, he'll hack the super high tech stuff, run with it, grab three bagels, and we're out."
"Why do I have to do it?" Peter asked.
"You're lighter, you'll make less noise." Parker shrugged.
"So you're saying you're too fat to fit into the vent?" Peter asked. Parker twitched.
"Change of plans." Parker said. "All of us are going."
"Yes!" Miles pumped a fist in the air.
"Want someone in the front and back go push you in case you get stuck, huh? Smart move." Peter nodded.
"Yeah, okay, we have to be super silent now because we're doing a stealth mission, remember?" Parker told Peter. Peter snorted, before all three of them swung to the building.
Once they had all made it to the air vents, they began crawling as silently as they could.
They overheard a conversation briefly as they passed, before they were right above an office.
Peter, who was in the front, quietly opened the vent and jumped down as quietly as he could. Parker followed suit.
Peter rushed to the computer and began working on cracking the password.
Parker stood by the door in case anyone came in. He then noticed something. "Where's Miles?" He asked Peter, who shrugged.
"Up here." They both turned their attention to Miles, who was stuck on the ceiling light. "My hands are stuck."
He then tried to shake his hand off, causing the whole light to start shaking. "Stop!" Peter harshly whispered.
Miles, who noticed it wasn't working, started shaking harder, causing the light to flail around wildly while both Parker and Peter were waving their arms around in an attempt to signal him to stop.
"Just relax! What do you do to relax?!" Parker exclaimed quietly.
It was silent for a moment, before Miles started humming.
"Is he serious?" Parker asked Peter.
One by one, each of Miles fingers became unstuck as he went crashing to the ground.
Both of the Peters looked away, but when they looked back he was gone.
"Teenagers, just the worst. Miles, where did you go?" Parker asked, looking around.
"I'm right here." Miles voice was heard.
"Where? I can't see you. Can you see him?" He asked, turning to Peter, who shook his head.
"I'm right in front of you." Miles said. "Can Spiderman turn invisible?"
"Not in my universe." Parker mumbled, looking at the spot he believed Miles to be in. He rose up a finger, and poked the space in front of him.
"Aah! You just poked me in the eye!" Miles exclaimed, turning back to normal.
"This is incredible. Some kind of fight or flight thing." Parker observed in quiet awe.
"What's that?" Miles asked.
Suddenly, they heard a noise outside.
Miles turned invisible again.
Quickly, Parker ran behind the desk and his under it, leaving Peter exposed.
A woman walked in. "Oh, uh, hey." Peter said, leaning against the desk casually.
"Spiderman! What a pleasant suprise!" She chirped. She pressed a button on the remote, and suddenly Peter was strapped to some kind of table.
"Ah, this is not how I expected my morning to go." Peter sighed. She ripped off his mask. "That's a no-no." He grumbled.
The woman then started rambling about how amazing this was, and Peter just listened in boredom.
"--and obviously you've been glitching." She had said. Peter snapped his head up.
"Glitching? No. Why would you say that?" Peter chuckled nervously. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Peter working on the computer.
"If you stay in this dimension too long, your body's going to disintegrate. Do you know how painful that would be, Peter Parker?" She asked.
"I do." Peter shuddered. She quirked a brow up.
"Your dimension must be fascinating." She said softly. "I, for one, can't wait to watch."
"What did you say your name was?" Peter asked, noticing Parker was giving him a thumbs up.
"Dr. Olivia Octavius." She took off her lab coat, revealing her mechanical tentacles. One shot out, and wrapped itself around Peter's neck.
"Can I assume your friends call you Doc Ock?" He choked out.
"My friends actually call me Liv, my enemies call me Doc Ock." She smirked.
It was then an invisible Miles ran out with the monitor and computer. "What the--?!" Olivia exclaimed.
"Well, this has been nice and all, but I really must take my leave." Peter said, already having escaped and sitting on top of it.
He flipped over her, and at that moment Parker ran out of the room as well.
They quickly caught up to Miles. "Good news!" Parker exclaimed, grabbing the monitor. "We don't need the monitor!"
Olivia was hot on their tails.
"You didn't tell me you had friends!" She exclaimed, reaching out to grab them.
---
After successful evading Doc Ock, they found themselves in the cafeteria.
"This would be a good time to turn invisible." Parker mumbled to Miles.
"Yep." Miles agreed.
"Okay, not going to turn invisible." Parker muttered, walking over to the bagel stand. "Selecting a bagel, act super normal."
All three of them started casually walking across the cafeteria.
"Spiderman?!"
"You know, that's funny. I get that a lot." Parker said.
"Hey." Miles hummed.
"Hiya!" Peter waved cheerily.
"Spiderman?!" All of the scientists stood up and pointed their weapons at them.
"Hey! Hands up!" Some woman yelled.
"Now we do a switchy-switchy." Parker said quickly. He took the computer out of Miles hands and threw a bagel at him and Peter.
"Huh?!" Miles exclaimed.
All three of them began running.
"Get back here! Where do you think you're going?!"
"He took a bagel!"
"Alright, time to swing, just like I taught you." Parker said.
"You didn't teach him that!" Peter exclaimed.
"I know. It's a little joke for team building!" Parker laughed.
Parker started swinging away. Peter quickly helped Miles shoot his web and then both of them were swinging too.
"I can't do this yet!" Miles exclaimed.
"Of course you can! I taught you how!" Peter yelled.
"I swung at snail speed then, Pete!"
"Yeah, c'mon Pete. Everybody knows that the best way to learn is under intense life threatening crisis!" Parker called over his shoulder.
Soon, Miles had fallen to the ground.
He began running, the scientists chasing after him.
"What are you doing down there?!" Peter exclaimed.
"I run better than I swing!" Miles yelled.
"You gotta swing or they'll catch you!" Parker exclaimed. "Aim with your hips! Look where you want it to hit! Square your shoulders! Don't forget to follow through! Don't shoot off your back foot!"
"That's too many things!" Miles screamed.
"Then stop listening to me!" Parker groaned.
"That's the best idea you've had all day!"
"You got this Miles!" Peter yelled.
Miles focused, and successful shot a web.
"Nice, Miles!" Parker exclaimed.
"I'm doing it!" Miles cheered.
"Alright Miles! Just like I taught you! Double tap to release and thwip it out again!" Peter yelled.
"Okay!" Miles nodded.
"Thwip and release." Parker repeated.
"And thwip and release." All three of them said. "Thwip. Release."
"You're a natural!" Parker exclaimed. Peter rolled his eyes. "Feel the rhythm?"
"Thwip and release!" Miles exclaimed.
"Good, Miles!" Peter cheered.
"I gotta say, you guys are amazing!" Miles completed.
"We're a little team!" Parker laughed. "Me as the teacher, who could still do it. Miles as the student, who can do it, just not as good. Peter as the dropout, who wishes he was as good as me."
"Gee, thanks." Peter said dryly.
"I'm proud of us!" Parker said, ignoring Peter. "Is there something you want to say to me?"
Suddenly, Peter and Parker glitched and began to fall. Miles quickly shot a web to save them, but came crashing down as well.
Suddenly, another web shot out and saved all three from their mortal doom.
"Hey, guys." A female voice said.
"Gwanda?" Miles asked incredulously.
"It's Gwen, actually."
A/N:
This was gonna be longer but I figured this was a good place to end it.
