Boomerang (Do You Ever Notice)

Do you ever notice,
The number of echoes you hear
After a bell rings?
Do you ever notice,
The amount of sun rays you see
On tips of flowers?

There is beauty in moments
That flee before they're captured
There is ugliness in film
From missing these glorious things.

You can fake anything
But not reality
You can lie about me
To everybody, too.

But you can't deny it anymore
I can see it in your eyes
You ask me to leave you all alone
But I am not going now.

You are the echoes in the air
I see the sun rays in your hair

All the moments in my world are yours
For now and ever more,
I will always boomerang to you.
I will come back for you.

But I have some questions first
So feel free to do your worst:

Do you ever notice,
I never abandon you
The way you want me to?
Do you ever notice,
I tell you that I love you
When you don't love me?
