I'm so sorry that this is so bad.
Tyrone had enough of his mates talking all about there Valentine's Day plans in the changing room before and after training. If he ever brought it up though they would all just call him jealous because he didn't have a girlfriend. It did annoy Tyrone but there was nothing that he could do about it he enjoyed life as it was now. He enjoyed hanging around with his friends and enjoyed going home to an empty home. Okay maybe not that last bit but he had enough friends and if he was ever properly lonely he could go to his best friends house knowing she would gladly let him in and stay over. That's when an idea came to his head. Was it a good idea? Only time will tell. Tyrone thought it was but that's not really saying much.
"Y/N," Tyrone shouted into the phone after training one day. Y/N rolled her eyes and her best friend knows how idiotic he was. He always did the same thing on the phone and in real life. He was a very energetic human and probably could transfer some of his energy to you and still have a lot of energy left for himself.
"Tyrone." You said back. Not half as energetic or loud though. You were in public walking around so didn't really want to draw any attention to yourself. You were never as excitable as him but when he was around he somehow got you to become more energetic but that was only when he was around. And when you weren't exactly in a proper mood.
"I've got a brilliant idea." He said sounding so sure if himself. You rolled you eyes already knowing that it would be a stupid idea that comes out of his mouth. You don't think there has ever been a good idea that has come out of his mouth. It would be a miracle if it was a good idea that comes out of his mouth.
"What?" You asked trying not to give away how stupid you already thought the plan was although you haven't heard it. Tyrone probably knew you already thought that especially with all the stupid stuff he's come up with since you've met him. You had to admit your life would probably be boring and lonely without him.
"So you know that Valentine's Day is coming and you don't have a date and I don't have a date. I was wondering if we could be each other's valentines? All the guys keep taking the mick out of me for not having valentines and you're my best friend so it would just be two friends hanging out but on the day of love" Tyrone ranted on. As soon as it all came out of his mouth he was silent probably letting you take it all in. You thought for a minute about what it would entail and it wasn't such a bad idea. It would just be you and Tyrone hanging out the whole day and that would be a lot of fun.
"Alright," you said. You had nothing better to do on Valentine's Day so you might as well do it. It would just be spending the day with Tyrone which you already love to do. Why would you? He was your best friend and you would rather spend the day with him than any of your other friends which may sound a bit harsh but it was true. You could never get tired of Tyrone.
"Really? Okay, I'll meet you at your house at 10 on Friday." Tyrone said not even giving you any chance to object because he knew you would. He didn't give you any chance to object to it since he just hung up his phone so you couldn't talk to him. He knew that you would object telling him to come later because you would want to stay in bed later but nope he hung up on you. You sighed knowing that nothing would be able to change his mind anymore.
Valentines Day
Valentine's Day came about quite quickly but you weren't complaining. Spending the day with Tyrone was one of the best things that could actually happen. You both had agreed to make this like a proper Valentine's Day so do things that couples do. Except for the kissing and other romantic stuff like that it would be a normal day. Near enough a normal day for you and Tyrone as well.
"Y/N open up." You heard. Tyrone was banging on the door and shouting your name. You were still in bed though not doing anything other than watching a TV show on Netflix. Reluctantly you got out of bed not wanting your neighbours to complain about Tyrone. Again. It's happened way too many times. You got up and looked in the mirror not exactly caring what you exactly looked like. You knew you looked a mess but Tyrone has seen you in worse states so it's not a big bother if he sees you as you've just woken up. You walked downstairs and literally through the door open making sure it doesn't hit the wall and tried to give Tyrone a glare but as soon as you saw that smile on his face the glare went away. He somehow had that effect on you and you hated it.
"Finally," Tyrone said pulling you into a big hug. He had something in his hands though making it harder to hug you and it was a slightly awkward hug. When he pulled away though you went into the kitchen so you could get something to eat. You hadn't eaten anything all day so you needed something. You could tell that your stomach was going to grumble at any moment. You looked through the cupboards and just decided on cereal. Can't go wrong with a bowl of cereal. Tyrone just watched you before he began to speak. For some reason, though he waited till you fill your mouth full of food so you couldn't exactly reply to him.
"Oh, I got these for you! Happy Valentines Day!" Tyrone said handing you a card, heart-shaped chocolates and your favourite flowers. He knew what were your favourite chocolates so decided to get them and put them in a heart-shaped box he also knew your favourite flowers and it wouldn't be Valentine's Day without flowers.
"Thank you, Tyrone! I love them." You said placing them on the kitchen side so you could hug Tyrone properly. You then told him to wait one minute when you went and got his valentines present which was only something simple but Tyrone still loved it. He loved the simple things in life especially when it came to you buying him things.
"Come on let's go and watch some cheesy romantic movie," Tyrone said dragging you into the living room. You made sure you grabbed your cereal before you properly left. No food could go to waste. As you slowly walked in eating your cereal Tyrone and loaded up Netflix and had grabbed one of your blankets so both of you could be covered. You made yourself comfortable and watched the film together. You were both making jokes and picking out flaws as you did with every film. See everything was exactly the same as always. At some point, Tyrone and you had manoeuvred yourselves so you were cuddling but there was nothing strange about that either you always done that. At some point, you may have gone for a nap but you couldn't really remember just enjoying the warmth of Tyrone.
"I'll pick you up in 3 hours for our meal. Dress proper nice." Tyrone said beginning to walk out of the door after a nap and many films later. You nodded your head and agreed with him. You had no idea where you were going but you trusted Tyrone to take you somewhere that you liked. He knew what foods you liked so you had a great amount of trust in him for it. You looked at the clock and decided to start to get ready knowing how slow you like to do things. You like to take your time and you didn't really want to make Tyrone said especially if he had a reservation someone which was highly likely considering it was Valentine's Day. You spent the 3 hours getting ready and also messing around like having a full concert in the shower but other than that you were quite productive. Not really but you were ready on time and that's all that matters.
"I'm here," Tyrone shouted as he walked into your house. The door was unlocked just so he could. You finished putting on your shoes before making sure that you had everything and made your way down the stairs. Tyrone was in a suit which made him better looking than usual. It was nearly as good as him shirtless because that is a good sight. You could see a slight sparkle in his eyes as soon as they laid on you but you didn't think much about it thinking it was your own imagination.
"You look incredible," Tyrone said slightly shocked at your beauty. He had never fully paid attention to you like that before but now he defiantly would be.
"Thank you so do you." You said taking his hand which he offered at the bottom of the step. As soon as you were there Tyrone asked if you were ready to leave which you were and immediately you made your way to the restaurant. You didn't know what restaurant you were going to but you were excited. You and Tyrone spent the whole car journey laughing and talking together and you didn't even realise where you were going until you see near enough there. Your mouth was open wide in shock.
"Tyrone you didn't have to do this." You said in shock. You thought he would've taken you to one of your normal restaurants and by normal you mean Nando's or something but no this is a proper nice restaurant. One that looks like you have to book in advance because of how busy it can get. It also looks like it's really expensive and since you and Tyrone aren't actually dating you didn't think he would spend this much on you.
"The best for the best." Was all Tyrone said placing his hand in yours so that you wouldn't get lost considering how busy it was. You couldn't help but notice how nice and comfortable your hand-fitted in his. You knew that this was only meant to be a friendship thing just so the both of you wouldn't feel lonely on the day of love but you couldn't help but feel like there was something more to it. You didn't know what but there was something.
"Reservation for Mings," Tyrone said to the waiter. He looked down the list before nodding to you and motioned for the both of you to follow him. The waiter took you to your table before placing your menus on it and telling you that someone should be with you shortly. Tyrone pulled out you're chair like the perfect gentleman before sitting in his own chair. You joked around a lot. That's something you loved about your friendship with Tyrone. How easy everything was with him. It wasn't until the main meal when things became a bit awkward. You could tell Tyrone had something on his mind and was trying to figure out the right way to say it.
"I made this reservation weeks ago," Tyrone said playing with his food. You could tell that something was on his mind but you didn't want to ask him knowing Tyrone would close himself off fully. You knew him too well. So instead you waited for him to continue talking just enjoying your food.
"I was hoping to ask you to be my valentines as a date but I kept backing out so I ended up asking you as a friend and the more I spent with you the more I realised how much I liked you. I know you probably don't like me like that but I only wanted the best for you and-" Tyrone said. He was just rambling trying to get you to understand why he did all this. When it hit you that he actually liked you, you couldn't help but let a smile come across your face. You knew that there was some sort of feelings between you and Tyrone but you believed that it was just because of how close you and Tyrone were you thought that the feelings were normal. When Tyrone wouldn't shut up from his rambling you decided to take matters into your own hands and lean across the table and planted your lips firmly onto his. You could tell that he was initially shocked but when he realised what was happening he quickly kissed back. You didn't kiss for long though considering that you were still in public and it's not something you want everyone to see.
"Would you do me the honour and be my girlfriend?" Tyrone laughed. He doesn't know why he worded it like that but he did. You nodded your head before digging back into your food. It was slowly getting cold and you wanted to eat it all before it was completely cold.
"So now that our anniversary is on Valentine's Day it means I only need to buy you one present and one card. Two in one." Tyrone said you rolled your eyes and hit him on the arm softly. The main concern for you was that dating Tyrone would ruin your friendship but it was obvious that it wouldn't. Especially the way you and Tyrone were. Everything seemed exactly the same as before.
