(She'd be bi-eyed light/lightning if it was possible)
Lightbulb, labeled The Bright Leader, is a female contestant on Inanimate Insanity and Inanimate Insanity II. She was the team captain of Team Epic, and once again becomes the leader of The Bright Lights.
Personality
Lightbulb is an enthusiastic, free-spirited and optimistic character. Lightbulb is greatly known for her goofy and ludicrous attitude, given that when she returned for Inanimate Insanity II, her character had completely changed from the clumsy and dizzy leader of Team Epic to a more comical, almighty, and influential chief and commander of Team Bright Lights. This makes Lightbulb the only object in the series to be captain in both seasons of Inanimate Insanity.
Given that Lightbulb's personality is quite erratic and unpredictable, Lightbulb may appear as a brilliant leader one moment, but then become a goofy fool in an instant. She will also often display bizarre thought processes, in one manner, she will believe that standing still throughout an entire challenge will cause her to win. In other challenges, she may come up with a thoughtful idea that may lead her to victory or out of a difficult situation.
Lightbulb can be very tyrannical, as she occasionally takes great pride to be in control. She appears almost addicted to leadership, although she has shown to be quite careless of her actions as well. Lightbulb displays her powerful reign while in constant feuds with Paintbrush, as she will use her superiority to make decisions for the team, and even wrongfully send contestants to the Calm Down Corner.
Disregarding her leadership, Lightbulb is a generally kind, caring, and benevolent player, with a large love for cookies. Additionally, Lightbulb will eat inedible objects with ease, such as sticks, balls of yarn, metal buckets, and boxes of fish food. Lightbulb is an extrovert and quite attached to the people she cares about. She is almost constantly around people she likes and commonly in a good mood as well. Furthermore, she is in a noticeably low mood after Paintbrush decides they wanted to stop working with her. When upset or agitated, Lightbulb can be even more careless than usual and act recklessly against herself or others.
According to the crew, throughout the series, Lightbulb feels more separated and wants everyone to be exactly the same. This is further emphasized in "Alternate Reality Show", wherein an alternate timeline, she finds characters who are alike and feels welcome.
Official Site Bio
Lightbulb is the omniscient leader of The Bright Lights. She strives to be the ultimate leader but makes sure to follow The Rules Of Objects Shows. Her love for cookies can cause her to be clumsy here and there, but she will brighten up the way for her teammates... as long as they do what she says.
As the almighty leader of the Bright Lights, Lightbulb strives to brighten the mood in the darkest of times. Though her ideas may usually seem a bit dim, Lightbulb is never discouraged for long and will always strive to do what is right, even if her solutions are… rather unconventional. Lightbulb’s combination of quirkiness and authority tends to lead to universal disasters or unexplainable victories.
Abilities
Lightbulb is known for her unique abilities, such as:
Electrokinesis: Lightbulb can generate electricity, as seen in "Kick the Bucket" when she pumps electricity into a ball and tosses it to Fan. (And in “Alternate Reality Show”.)
Light Production: As per any typical light bulb, Lightbulb has shown the ability to shine and produce lights on several occasions. such as in the cave in “Sugar Rush”, on Idiotic Island in “The Great Escape”, or in Purgatory Mansion in “Let 'Er R.I.P.”
Electronic Mimicry: As shown in “Theft and Battery”, Lightbulb can mimic MePhone4's electronic glitches, possibly because she, too, is electronic.
Paintbrush
Basic/Shimmer/Scales
Ginger/Ginger/Silver
Fire Rare eyes
Paintbrush, labeled The Hothead, is a contestant on Inanimate Insanity and was a member of Team Epic. They competed in Inanimate Insanity II and was a member of The Bright Lights.
Personality
Paintbrush is a caring, friendly, supportive, and helpful contestant to many, Paintbrush can become very stubborn and obdurate if things don't go as they plan. Evidently, Paintbrush is typically an unsentimental pragmatist and follows life along a realistic and reasonable path. They will play the game safe and enter each challenge levelheaded, with the intent to win. Although they are outranked by Lightbulb's leadership, Paintbrush will take any beneficial initiative for their team, frequently coming up with plans for success.
However, Paintbrush shows little patience for nonsense and absurdity, commonly provided by Lightbulb or Fan. Paintbrush has exhibited an exceptionally short temper for any immoral behavior they do not agree with. If angered enough, Paintbrush's bristles will ignite into flames of fury, literally becoming a "hothead". Paintbrush adopts a violent and destructive nature, going as far as to physically harm teammates for not cooperating. Though acting cruelly against others, Paintbrush will usually apologize and show remorse for acting out of line.
Official Site Bio
Paintbrush is a tall and quite amiable player. His favorite- oops... her favorite- wait... um... Paintbrush loves to help out whenever possible for his/her team! Being quite outspoken, but under the rank of Lightbulb, Paintbrush appears to be Lightbulb's right-hand man... or... woman... or... forget this.
Paintbrush strives to be a responsible leader that can earn victory for their team! The only problem is... they’re not the team leader, but that won’t stop them! Paintbrush is very compassionate and is always looking out for the best interests of friends and allies. Their strong leadership skills stem from a pragmatic approach to solving problems. That being said, they have little-to-no temper for those who slack. If you happen to anger Paintbrush... run.
Abilities
Paintbrush is known for their unique abilities, such as:
Combustible Hair: Paintbrush's bristles react to their emotions and can glow with heat, as seen various times. If angered enough, Paintbrush's hair can ignite into flames.
Heat Explosion: As seen in "Everything's A-OJ", "Mazed and Confused", and "Alternate Reality Show", when Paintbrush reaches a high level of fury, they will explode in a fit of fire. Additionally, they can send off heat waves that can burn an entire area of land.
Fan
Basic/Basic/Contour
Cherry/Red/Yellow
Wind Uncommon eyes
Fan, labeled The #1 Fan, is a recurring character on Inanimate Insanity and is a contestant in Inanimate Insanity II.
Personality
Fan is socially awkward and quirky. He is the ultimate fan of Inanimate Insanity and tends to mention his blog to other contestants, usually annoying them. Although not the most physical on his team, he manages to be a smart, strategic, and imaginative one, shown when being able to manipulate Microphone to win the challenge for his team in "Tri Your Best".
He is quite an eccentric oddball and is really out there in the circle of normal but he is shown that he is quite confident and self-assured in himself, being unafraid to go on his laptop to update his blog, but it annoys his teammates (particularly Paintbrush) a lot when he only focuses on other topics rather than the challenge.
He usually gets quite annoyed when people get his name wrong, especially at Lightbulb, because she usually gets his name wrong and calls him "Paper."
Fan is also quite idiosyncratic and imperfect, but at the end of the day, he is a team player and always tries his best to focus on the challenges.
Official Site Bio
Fan is a walking, talking database of Inanimate Insanity’s history, A.K.A. a huge “fan” of the show. Being a contestant is truly a dream come true for him, and he is constantly //nerding out over// (OBSERVING) every facet of the competition. With //an obsession over// (WATCHFUL EYES ON) theories and patterns from the show’s past, Fan is //usually// (NEVER) unaware of what is happening around him and is actually the most ignorant (SELF-AWARE) competitor of all! Fan is, indeed, quite //socially awkward// (A STRATEGIC AND IMAGINATIVE) player that strives to win, no matter how unconventional or subversive the means!
Test Tube
Crystal/Sludge/Capsule
Mantis/Mantis/Radioactive
Nature Rare eyes
(She'd be bi-eyed nature/lightning if it was possible)
Test Tube, labeled The Nerd, is a female contestant on II. She is placed with The Bright Lights.
Personality
As a proud, prospective, and self-proclaimed scientist, Test Tube devotes her life to the education of science. Since her debut in "Breaking The Ice", Test Tube has displayed an incredible amount of knowledge and intelligence in all areas of science and can be assumed as the most intelligent and creative contestant on Inanimate Insanity II. She talks with a strong vocabulary and enjoys making scientific calculations at random.
Along with her great intelligence, Test Tube is an impressive and masterful engineer. She was able to construct the rocket in "Marsh on Mars" within seconds and designed her own secret laboratory full of many inventions and gadgets in "Tri Your Best." However, Test Tube is quite possessive, unforthcoming, acquisitive, and secretive of her creations and harbors them away from the public.
Test Tube enjoys explaining scientific terms and facts, despite if other contestants didn't ask her to in the first place. Because of her constant science clamor, other contestants may find her irritating or annoying. Consequently, Test Tube may become socially awkward around many contestants who don't share the same interests. She can occasionally mutter to herself or make weird noises when in uncomfortable situations, and even confesses to her strange behavior in "Let 'Er R.I.P." after Fan does the same.
Occasionally, Test Tube can also be very foolish, dimwitted, nonsensical, and unintelligent. In "Theft and Battery", she foolishly tosses handfuls of rice on MePhone4 after he shuts down, not only doing the technique wrong but for the wrong reason as well. Test Tube has also proven to have a form of atychiphobia or the fear of being wrong. If Test Tube makes a miscalculation or is proven wrong, the result can cause her to undergo a massive amount of stress, enough to literally make her shatter.
Official Site Bio
Test Tube is a science fanatic and devotes her life to science and education. She is the most intelligent person in the game, but very bad at physical challenges. Her knowledge can come off as obnoxious and can irritate the people around her.
Test Tube… golly… we wonder where her passions lie! SPOILER ALERT: Science! Test Tube is a knowledge-driven scientist that has a slew of kooky inventions at her disposal. Her initial weakness, her social ability, has improved as a result of building friendships with some of the other contestants. Although she is generally understanding and kind, she becomes easily frazzled by the “unexplainable.” Over time, Test Tube questions if everything in life really needs to be explained. But as for right now, Test Tube strives to do what’s right… in the name of science! Science rules!!
Tissues
Basic/Basic/Crackle
Mint/White/Radioactive
Wind Rare Eyes
Tissues, labeled The Sickness, is a male contestant in Inanimate Insanity II. He is placed on Team Bright Lights.
Personality
Tissues is a very debilitated and ill character. Since his debut on the show, he has become infected with a contagious disease known as the "condiShAWn".
Due to this condition, Tissues cannot control his sneezing, and will constantly sneeze at other characters, much to their disgust. Because of his uncontrollable sneezing, Tissues does not make friends easily with other characters and seems to only repel them instead. Additionally, Tissues' sneezes are powerful enough to launch him several feet into the air. Tissues may also occasionally enter a sneezing spasm, where he will sneeze endlessly multiple times in a matter of seconds.
Tissues' condiShAWn additionally causes him to be constantly tired, sluggish, underactive, and lethargic, as in "Breaking The Ice", he was too tired to partake in the dodgeball competition. The condishawn also causes Tissues to slur his words and adopt a lisp.
Despite sickness being his main attribute, Tissues appears to be considerate and kind, but especially timid, veracious, apprehensive, and slightly apathetic. Tissues also fails to understand jokes and slang, as he acknowledges how strange Trophy's middle name, "Horseplay", was despite it merely being an idiom.
Official Site Bio
Something is terribly wrong with Tissues. Right from the start, Tissues has been severely ill with his condiShAWn, causing him to rapidly sneeze uncontrollably. This has lead him to be sadly neglected from the rest of the cast.
Ever had a sick day? Welcome to Tissues’ entire life! Despite that Tissues wants to participate in challenges, he is halted at every turn by his infamous and self-described “condiShAWn.” While it may only render him fatigued, don’t underestimate how dangerous and life-threatening his contagion can be! Even with his limitations, Tissues always makes an effort to be social and put himself out there. Unfortunately, no matter how apologetic he is about his unhealthy state, it’s best to approach him with great caution.
YinYang
Basic/Basic/Opal
White/White/Obsidian
Obsidian/Obsidian/White
Light Unusual eyes
Shadow Rare eyes
Yin-Yang, labeled The Quarrel, is a male recommended character who is a contestant in Inanimate Insanity II. He was placed on The Bright Lights.
Personality
Yin-Yang is the amalgamation of two characters: Yin and Yang. The two halves have vastly different personalities that contradict each other. Together, Yin and Yang share a body and are in constant disputes with one another, even over simple tasks, such as what direction to walk or drink soda.
Yin, the white half, is good-hearted, honorable, and rational, whose intent is to balance out Yang, who is extremely blasphemous, malicious, and immoral. While Yin is happy to participate in challenges and actively tries to help out, Yang despises participation and typically enjoys the misfortune of other characters, and will lash out and attempt to harm others, including Yin. This difference in character makes Yin-Yang's participation and handiness quite limited, sparking many enemies with others. Because they are attached, Yang doesn't get away with doing bad things as Yin can easily stop him.
When separated by Test Tube's experiment, the balance between Yin and Yang is broken, causing Yang to become extremely chaotic, shambolic, destructive, and vicious on his own by breaking things and attacking characters. Yin, who initially is happy with the separation, realizes that his compassion is useless when separated and comes to the conclusion that fusing back together into Yin-Yang is the only way to stop Yang's violence.
Official Site Bio
Yin-Yang has two personalities! The white half, Yin, is a very reasonable individual who thinks things through before he takes actions, and doesn't want to argue or fight with anyone, The black half, Yang, likes to cause trouble and havoc no matter what the consequences are. Because they are connected together, they argue with themselves.
Yin and Yang are two halves of a whole that are polar opposites, combined together into one body. The result, as one can imagine, is quite chaotic. While Yin is kind and tolerant, Yang is passionate and brutal, but the situation may not be as black and white as it appears. Yin and Yang are combined to naturally balance each other, forming Yin-Yang. When together, the two are constantly arguing about everything from game strategy to their own hydration. When apart, more than merely “arguing” will ensue… so separating the two is highly regarded as a bad idea.
Cherries
Laced/Eyespots/Veined
Laced/Eyespots/Contour
Cherry/Cherry/Leaf
Nature Common eyes
The Cherries, labeled The Twins are male competitors in Inanimate Insanity II. They were placed in The Bright Lights
Personality
The Cherries are two twins who share a brain. As a result, the two individual cherries are technically the same person in two bodies and share the same thoughts and opinions.
The Cherries have a similarity to children, as they are usually a kindhearted and compassionate duo, although they have a love for pranking and making fun of others. The two can be seen putting on shows and acting in miniature to draw attention. If angered, the Cherries have been seen to be very acrimonious and vindictive as well, as seen in "Marsh on Mars" when they knock Marshmallow to Mars for simply ruining their act, and furthermore, blaming the dilemma on Box. However, following their cruel acts, the Cherries can be quite remorseful and guilty if they take pranks too far, and will apologize and reluctantly take the blame.
Action wise, the Cherries will normally speak respectively, as one may talk after the other to complete a sentence. In some occasions, one Cherry will pantomime (act out/show emotions) while the other Cherry talks. The Cherries have also shown to be very experienced and adept mask crafters, creating masks of various characters.
Official Site Bio
Cherries are two little twins connected at the stem. Although they are two different people, they share the same brain, really making them the same person trapped in two different bodies. They always have the same opinion on anything. However, their pleasure for pranking gets out of hand and can hurt the others around them, despite them not meaning to take it as far as they do.
Two heads are better than one, that is unless you’re sharing the same brain! Cherries are two twins connected at their stem who think exactly alike. They have no choice but to stick together, but they don't seem to mind. While they may seem cute and harmless, together, the two think up devious schemes to prank others... though sometimes a bit too much. Ultimately, they are at least willing to admit when they’ve gone too far, but this won’t stop them from causing more mischief in the future!
