"LULU! GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE! YOURE GOING TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT!"
I groaned and rolled out of bed. I quickly threw on gray sweatpants and a black T-shirt and ran downstairs.
My mom gave me a disgusted look. "Are you seriously going out like that? Can't you dress up a little nicer?"
I rolled my eyes. "Mom, can we just go to the airport already? I'm going to be late."
She sighed and I grabbed my bagged and put them in the car. There wasn't much since most of my stuff was going to be shipped there.
The drive to the airport was awkward until my mom broke the silence. "Try not to get yourself into trouble okay?"
"Since when do you care?" I said, glaring at her.
She slapped me. "I told you not to talk to me like that! Why are you such an asshole all the time?!"
I rubbed my cheek which was probably red now because of how hard she slapped me. I didn't answer, I just looked out the window.
After what seemed like ages, we finally got to the airport. I grabbed my luggage out of the car.
When I finally got my ticket and was ready to get on the plane, I noticed my mom glaring at me. "What did I do this time?" I said, a little annoyed.
"Why do you always dress like that?" She said sounding very disgusted.
I rolled my eyes. "For the millionth time, I don't like dressing like a good girl. I'm a bad girl. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a flight I need to catch." I grabbed my bag and made my way to the gate.
Once I finally got to my seat, I sighed in relief. I smiled to my myself. Finally, I thought, I don't have to hear my mom complain anymore. I'm finally going to have a peaceful life.
I grabbed my phone and texted my dad, letting him know that I was on the plane. I was defiantly not going to miss New York.
