Jessa's POV
I was so happy to be out of the hospital. I hated that place. Something about it just made me uncomfortable. But now we were on the road to Cheyanne, Wyoming, where only 4/5 of them would play. No one's told Ross that he couldn't perform for a couple months. I think we were waiting until we actually got there to tell him. While on the bus, it's a tradition to watch a Disney movie every week.
"Finding Nemo!" Ratliff suggested.
"Tangled!" Rydel said.
"Monsters Inc!" Rocky exclaimed.
"The Lion King!" Riker said.
"Toy Story!" Ross suggested.
Oh boy.
"Jess, you wanna pick?" Riker asked.
"Um... will you guys be okay with whatever I pick?" I asked.
"Yeah," they said in sync.
"Okay then. I choose Brave." Rocky grabbed the case and slid the disc in. I sat next to Ross with his hand on mine. It didn't even start yet when Rocky yelled " WE FORGOT POPCORN!" I let out a big sigh. "I'll go make some," I said getting up.
I got out the pot and threw the kernels in.
"Need any help?" a voice said from behind me. I turned around and saw an anxious Rydel.
"Sure," I answered and she grabbed the butter and salt.
"So," she started. "When are we gonna tell Ross that he can't perform for a while?"
I sighed again. "I don't know. But when we do, I think he's gonna be pretty upset." She shook her head in agreement.
"I mean the stage and the fans are like his life. He's gonna be devastated." The popcorn was done so Rydel buttered it and threw some salt on and then separated it into bowls.
I helped carry them out.
"Thanks," Ross said. I smiled.
"No problem." I sat myself back down on the chair and set my hand on Ross'. He pulled me into a hug.
I think I fell asleep through the movie because I found myself in my bunk. But Ross couldn't carry me.... eh. Who cares. I walked back in the movie room where I found that the movie was over. I walked over to Ross.
"Did I fall asleep?" He snickered.
"Yeah. I kinda had Rocky carry you over to your bunk. Hope you don't mind."
"I'm fine," I answered. "Do you need help getting up?" I asked him.
"Please?" He threw his arm around my neck and Ryland grabbed his crutches.
"Thanks," he said. He managed to get himself to his bunk but he couldn't get up there so we temporarily moved him to the middle one where Riker usually sleeps.
I hopped in mine but not before giving Ross a hug.
"Night blondie," I laughed.
"Night beautiful," he answered. Then we both went to bed.
