I was in a place where roses grew from the ground and the sky was black. I got up and surveyed my surrounding, roses of every different color, I was seeing everything in 3rd person my pupils were huge and deep black then a man came and dragged me to a large rock even though I was trying to kick him away. he walked the roses died. he slammed me on the stone then a girl that I couldn't make out the face of got a dagger from her pocket and raised it high in the air and plunged it in my heart. I woke up in a cold sweat breathing heavily "not again" I said out loud I walked outside my room and into the bathroom to end up splashing cold water on my face. I looked in the mirror at my face, same eyes, same skin color, same hair, same everything I thought. why was this dream so reoccurring what was the meaning. This dream had been haunting me ever since I could remember and every time I had it, it got more realistic. I looked at the clock 5:30 it said. I went into the shower and started getting dressed by the time I was done it was time to walk to school. today was another cloudy autumn day like always here. it never rains but its always cloudy like the sky is playing tricks on us. I walked the usual route past a couple of small shops and that one dead weeping willow tree next to the oldest pond in the town, everyone knows about the pond its like a piece of history it had been here since 1860 know one ever named it because its stories changed too damn much. all of them were scary and untrue like witches poured out their caldrons in the lake or children drown in it or every murderer for ages have dumped bodies in it. either or the lake was eerie and creepy on most days like this it was frightening to go near it so I just walked past. When I got to school it felt the same as always I saw Rose, hung out with Carmin, and got ignored by Cyran pretty normal shit until I got to 1st period I walked in and Ms. Conner handed out a project that we had to do with a partner " the project will be do Tuesday next week and I shall assign partners, Angela and Michelle, Damian and Heather, Raynin and Cyran,...." My head popped up when I heard that I'd be working with Cyran there'd be no way she doesn't say anything and I don't want to do all the work "ok that's all get with your partners" Ms. Conner said I went over and sat next to Cyran she just looked at me "who do u think we should do" silence "any famous person in history?" I emphasized she said nothing "well if we don't have a topic we'll get an F" she still said nothing "well I'm going to go to sleep since we both have no ideas" I said putting my head down "your tired again?" she asked "yes I didn't get any sleep" I said looking at her still with my head down " bad nightmares?" she asked I sat up and looked at her wide eyed how could she know? I asked myself "yea" I said in a soft tone "I can fix it just wait till tomorrow" she said her eyes looked hollow like she could see through me just then the bell rang "oh and the topic, we should do it on Edgar Allen Poe" she said grabbing her bag and with that she left leaving me yet again with unrest.
