Note: when I say: 'the ninja' I mean you now too :)
'Normal POV'
As the girls are walking to the monastery that all have one thing on their mind: what did sensei mean by 'apprentice'. Are they going to be trained to become ninjas? Sensei told them that they will be apprentices and that they will find out who they're trainer is tomorrow.
They get to the monastery and the girls are shown they're room, they are sharing a room. The room has two sets of bunk beds and a bed in the middle. All of the beds have white bedding on them (for now)
"I call top bunk!" Lia and Emily yell and throw they're bags onto the two top bunks. Kandice gets the bunk under Lia and Anahi gets the bunk under Emily, Violet gets the bed in the middle.
They all change into pyjamas and get into bed, falling asleep almost instantly.
*in the morning*
The girls are waken up by a gong. It startles them so badly that they all fall out of bed. Lia falls onto Kandice and Anahi falls onto Violet and Emily
"What time is it" Anahi asks as they all get up. Kandice looks at the alarm clock
"5am" she answers
"Really?!" Violet says
"Get used to it, we live among ninjas now" Emily says
"We did agree to this" Lia adds
The girls throw on some clothes and run to the indoor training room. They see the guys in they're ninja gis, they stand in a line. Sensei walks in and takes a sip of tea
"Girls, as I'm sure you know by now, you all have special powers" Sensei says. The girls nod and sideways glance at each other
"You have all been assigned as an apprentice, but first you will need your gis" he says. Sensei spins into a tornado (non if us know what it is yet so until we find out it will be called a tornado) and spins by all of the girls.
Kandice is in a dark purple gi with black highlights and light purple swirls all around.
Lia is in a yellow gi with silver accents and a light symbol on the back.
Emily is in a light blue gi with silver accents and white swirls all around it.
Violet is in a black gi with silver and purple highlights.
And Anahi is in a silver gi with an air and creation symbol on the back.
Sensei holds golden weapons in his hands
"Kandice, you are the ninja of wind. I present you with the bow and arrow of the wind" Sensei says and hands Kandice her golden bow and arrow
"Lia Aquamarine Brookstone, you are the ninja of light. For you, the daggers of light" he hands Lia her golden daggers
"Emily, you are the ninja of water. Here are the katanas of water" he hands Emily her golden katanas
"Violet Storm, you are the ninja of darkness. This is the bow and arrows of shadows, you will learn how to turn it into the sword of darkness" Sensei says and hands her the golden bow and arrows, when she takes it it turns into a golden sword
"And my niece Anahi Garmadon Powers, you are the ninja of air and creation. these are the arrows of the four winds and the sword of creation" he hands Anahi her golden arrows and sword
"Boys listen closely" Sensei says. The guys turn to look at him
"Kai, your apprentice is Kandice"
"Zane, your apprentice is Emily"
"Jay, your apprentice is Violet"
"Lloyd, your apprentice is Lia"
"And Cole, your apprentice is Anahi"
"Training will start tomorrow" and with that Sensei leaves the room
Cole and Lloyd look at each other
"If you hurt my sister I will hurt you" Cole says
"If you hurt my sister, I will murder you in your sleep" Lloyd says
"Well that escalated quickly" Emily whispers to the girls and they burst out in laughter
"You bet it did, he's always been overprotective" Anahi giggles
"That makes two of them" Lia laughs
"Oh c'mon, they care about you" Kandice giggles
"Ya, it's impossible to care to much about your siblings" Violet says.
The girls look to the guys, they've all started bickering. The girls look to each other, smile and nod. On three they all yell
"Quit fighting!!"
The guys stop and look at the girls
"Since when do you get a say, apprentices" Kai says and looks to the girls
"Hmmm, how about since.... now" Kandice says and the girls high five
"We're the ones training you guys" Cole smirks
"And we're the ones with the new special powers" Anahi smirks
"We've got the light burning bright within us" Lloyd says
"And what, we don't?" Lia asks, motioning to the girls
"You will all have get over this silly disagreement sooner or later" Zane says
"We have to, we are living together now" Emily points out
"I still don't see why you guys are living with us" Jay says
"Um because your training us now" Violet says and crosses her arms.
Everybody starts to bicker. Sensei hears this and walks back into the room. As soon as everybody notices his presence they all quiet down
"You need to learn how to work as a team. Today you all need to get in and out of the museum undetected. If one of you fails, you all fail. Work together and help each other" Sensei says. The guys groan.
They wait until it gets dark and than set off.
The ninja set out on they're first mission with the new recruits. The girls are nervous! They haven't even had one day of training yet!
Everyone climbs onto the roof and pulls they're ninja hoods down. The guys open one of the skylights and let a rope down it
"Ok the guys and I will go down first, we will help you from the ground" Cole says. The girls nod. The guys shimmy down the rope and land quietly on the ground "c'mon down" Cole whisper yells.
All of the girls go for the rope at the same time. They all start pushing and yelling to get down the rope, acting like its a life or death matter.
The girls topple over each other and fall down through the roof. They scream and panic, landing on the guys after the long drop from the roof.
Alarms go off and the girls all panic, the guys don't. They had a feeling that this would end badly and had a lie ready from the start.
Two guards rush in and shine flashlights in they're eyes
"What are you doing here" the first guard asks
"We got word that their had been a robbery here at the museum" Kai says
"We came to make sure that no one was hurt" Lloyd adds
"There has been no robbery" the second guard says
"Well we should be going now" Zane says, we start to walk
"Stop!" The first guard yells
"Yes" Cole asks, everyone turns to face the guards
"Who are these five" he asks and shines his flashlight at the girls
"Trainees" Jay says
"Ok go ahead" the second guard says
We walk out of the museum and start to walk back to the monastery
"Sorry for making a mess of things" Anahi says quietly
"Ya, we never meant to" Emily says
"It was an accident" Lia says
"That was all our fault, Sensei's gonna be angry" Violet says
"We'll try harder next time" Kandice says
"It's ok, we weren't good when we first started either" Cole says
"We were terrible" Kai laughs
"I can only imagine" Lloyd joins in the laughter
"So your not mad" Anahi asks
"Nah, it's your first time, you'll get better..... hopefully" Jay says, jokingly
"Hey" the girls laugh.
They all walk back to the monastery. Little did they know that this was Sensei's plan all along. He knew that they wouldn't be able to do it and that the guys would be angry at the start. But it would wear off when it brought back memories for the guys of when they were just starting out.
The ninja arrive home and meet with Sensei
"You did not make it out undetected" Sensei asks
"No Sensei" the ninja answer
"Well training will begin in the morning, it will be in the outdoor training facility. I will be supervising" Sensei says "get to bed, you must all get up early in the morning" he says
"Yes Sensei" the ninja say.
"Night guys"
"Night girls"
The girls and guys go to they're rooms, say sing goodnight before they leave earshot.
When the girls get to they're room they see that the bed that they claimed has they're elemental colour of bedding on it. They all get into pyjamas and get into bed. They don't go to sleep immediately, to many thoughts are swimming around in they're minds.
It takes a while but soon the dark blanket of sleep takes over they're bodies.
