A few weeks ago my friend Anders introduced me to the rest of his band, Bloodbath. I've hung out with all of them a few times and I realized that I have a crush on Per. But theres no way I'll ever let any of them know, cause the other guys would make fun of me for it, and Per would most likely think I'm a weirdo.
We were all hanging out together again today, at Anders' house. I straightened my outfit before knocking on the door. Anders opened it and grinned.
"Dakota! You know you don't have to knock you dork, come on in," Anders chuckled and stepped aside.
"Sorry, I feel weird if I don't!" I shrugged.
"What, do you knock before entering your own house, too?" Mikael asked, earning a laugh from everyone else. I giggled
"Would you shut up," I lightly smacked his arm before sitting on the couch. We hung out for a while, doing random stuff before Per stood up.
"I'm gonna go have a smoke," he spoke.
"Yeah, me too." I stood up. The rest of the guys gave me odd looks, knowing damn well that I don't smoke. But Per paid it no mind.
"Alright well we will be back in a few," I followed Per out back. He pulled a cigarette out of the pack and lit it. He took a drag before raising an eyebrow at me.
Oh crap, I'm supposed to be smoking too.
I patted down my pockets, pretending to feel for my lighter and cigarettes before speaking.
"Oh no, I uhh left my stuff at home." I fought a blush that was beginning to make it's way onto my cheeks. I'm making myself look like a total fool in front of the man I have a huge crush on.
"Oh, well here," he handed me a cigarette and his lighter.
"Thanks man," I lit the cigarette. My heart started to race as I brought it up to my lips and inhaled, making me immediately break out in a coughing fit. Per raised an eyebrow at me for what felt like the millionth time today.
"I'm not used to smoking this kind," I spoke through my coughs.
"Well what do you usually smoke?" He chuckled.
"I uhh, a few different kinds.." I trailed off. He gave me a quizzical smile.
"You know, Dakota, if you wanted to be alone with me you didn't have to pretend to smoke." Per laughed as I blushed furiously.
"You're a very strange girl. But I like you." He smiled at me, and I smiled back. This man truly does have my heart.
