“just a little bit. I mean how is he going to react when he finds out Alyssa is here? I mean she doesn’t even know that he’s her bother. What if William get’s mad and throws her out?” he said. I could see in his eye’s he was truly worried.
“trust me Rick that’s not going to happen. She’ll be fine and so will he.” I said even though I wasn’t a hounded percent sure that this was true. I looked out the window and saw William walking toward the door. “um Rick. . . He’s here.” I say worried about what’s going to happen. I run up the stairs and walk into Alyssa’s room.
I see her standing next to the bed talking to James. “PUT YOUR SHIRT ON! HE’S HERE! HURRAY!” I yell then warn everyone else. I run back down stairs and see William walk in then lock the door be hide him. “hey.” I say trying not to sound scared.
Alyssa’s point of view:
“what’s going on?” I say worried and confused. James rushes to put his shirt on and grabs my hand. “just don’t talk and come with me.” he says. We walk out of the room and I see everyone follow be hide us.
We walk down stairs and I see HIM. His hair’s snow white like mine and as long as my. Two strains of it are braided back like mine in my dreams. He looks at me and I see his eyes. Their green with a hint of blue like mine.
My heart race’s and I stop in my tracks. James feels me stop and turns around and asks me what’s wrong. “I. . . I know him.” I say pointing to the guy standing in the middle of the front hall away staring at me. He looks a Rick and yells “WHAT’S SHE DOING HERE!?” Rick doesn’t say anything he just stairs at me.
“how do you know him?” James asks. “he’s. . . my. . . Bother. That’s how.” I say. The guy turns around and whispers just loud enough for me to hear him saying “you know?” “I always have.” I say walking towards him. “I remember in my dreams. . . THAT’S IT MY DREAMS!! THEIR REAL AREN’T THEY?” I say while walking down the stairs.
I can feel everyone eyes on me. “I remember now mom told me before she died when I was five. She told me I had a twin, but I always thought my dreams were just dreams. There real aren’t they.” I say as I reach him. We look in each other’s eyes. I can see a tear run down his face.
“yes, yes they are. I always knew you where like her; mom; she could reach the fancy while dreaming I just never realized that it was true. I’m so sorry Alyssa I really am I should of left you alone.” he says as he grabs me and hugs me. “it’s okay. . . William.” I whisper.
We all stood there looking at one another and not saying anything. A few minutes pasted then William suggested that we all go to the living room and sit down. Me and William had our arms wrapped around each others waist.
Once we all sat down. William, James and I on the couch. Jasmine, and rosy on the love seat. Alex on Rick’s lap in the chair. I could tell there was something else they weren’t telling me. “so. . Um. . where have you been William?” I asked. I didn’t know where I was in my dreams and I think that’s what their hiding.
“well um I was out. There’s this other place that we all are from and we can go there anytime we want. Well for now.” he says looking at me. I was surprised of how much we looked alike. “what do you mean ‘for now?’” Alex asked with a confused face. I looked at William and waited for him to answer.
“well um you know john right? he’s deciding if we should be able to jump back and forth.” he says looking down at his hands. “oh. . .” Alex says. I looked around the room and everyone seem a bit sad and worried.
William’s point of view:
How am I suppose to tell them that he may close our access to the other world? I looked at Alyssa and was just glad to have her back. I never thought in a million years that I would see her again. I thought I had lost her forever. I mean once I had left don’t get me wrong I didn’t want to leave her but I had too. I guess I’m just worried I may lose her again.
I look over and James and I can tell in his eyes he’s trying to see what I’m thinking. “don’t even try” I said to him as I look back at my hands. I just wanted to go outside and burn off some steam. I looked around the room and saw everyone talking to each other.
I didn’t even realize they were talking I must of zoned out. I got up and went out side. I closed the door and walked a little bit into the woods and stopped. I heard the door open from the house but I didn’t look back I knew it was Alyssa.
“hi.” I say to her as she gets a little bit closer. “how did you-” “because I just know these things.” “how?” “well,” I say turning around. “I can see a little bit into the future and so can you I just have to teach you.” I say. She walks a little bit closer to me and looks into my eyes.
“why didn’t you try to find me after you left? Do you know where I went?” she says. I didn’t like these questions cause I knew the answer would just hurt her. “yes, I do you went with Kelly. Moms old friend. She raised you and told you that dad was dead which by the way is true.”
Looked away from me and down at the ground and said “so every time I dreamt it was real? The war? And everything else?” “yes, it was. You were working for john.” I said then turned around and looked around. “who’s john?” she asked me. I could feel her eyes back on me. “he’s the one that made it possible for us to jump.” I said then turned around.
“oh. . .” she says. I walked be hide her and whisper in her ear “I can teach you how to control it if you want?” “control what?” “the fire it’s quite easy actually.” “oh okay I guess.” she says. I lift up her right hand and curve her hand so it looks like a hook. Then whisper in her ear “close your eyes and just think about it but, you have to clear you head.”
“okay.” she says and does as I instructed. I look at her hand and see a small flame appear. I smile and say “good job but, try a little bit harder.” the flames becomes bigger about the size of a basket ball. “open your eyes.” I say to her as I walk in front of her. She smile’s and laughs. “I did it!” she says.
I smile and say “yes, you have but be careful fire can be very dangerous.” “you think I don’t know that?” she says to me laughing. “ha ha.” I say smiling. She close’s her hand slowly and the flame goes out. “what else can I do?” she asks.
“well here I’ll show you. Just follow my lead.” I say as I sit down on the ground. I run my hand on the cold dirt to feel the earth. She does the same and smiles. I can tell she feels what I feel. “you feel that? that’s her. The earth or better know as mother nature.” I say.
She smile’s again and looks at me to guide her. A gentle breeze comes by and her long hair flows in it. I could see the tips of her hair that were red it meant she was ready to train and that’s what I’m going to do. Train her.
Alyssa’s point of view
I followed his every move. He close his eye’s and consternates. I keep mine open so I can see what he does next. He takes a deep breath then exhales. His whole body burst into flames. It kind of scared me a little but then I closed my eye’s and did the same. I felt my body warm up. I opened my eye’s and saw William smiling. “you did it!” he say’s to me laughing.
“what you thought I couldn’t?” I say smiling. I hear someone walk up be hide us and both our flames go out. I turn around and saw James. “oh I’m sorry was I interrupting something? I’ll leave?” he says. “yea you kind of did.” William says. “I think you should go.”
“look William you don’t have to be so rude.” James says. “well she’s my sister and I need to train her so I need you to go.” “fine dude I’ll so just clam down.” James walks away and I look at William and ask what all that was about.
“I don’t like him. He’s just not a very good guy.” William say as he gets up. “what do you mean?” I ask standing up too. “well a couple of years ago he challenged me once.” “challenged?” “yea he thought that he would make a better leader then me.”
“okay you lost me” I say as I look William. “john put me as the leader of this group because I’m the strongest and James thought that john made a bad decided which wasn’t true at all.” “okay.” I said then William looked at me.
“I’ll teach you how to see a little into the future but you have to listen to my cause if you look to far in you may get in a lot of trouble so be careful I just want you to tell me what Alex will do in the next five minutes.” I node my head and follow his directions.
“just close your eyes and focuses on Alex. Think about everything you know about her.” a little bit later I saw Alex walking out of the house and going into a barn time of place. There’s a baby dragon in the middle of the room. The dragon looks up at her and she walks over to it then this shadow thing walks up be hide her and grabs her.
I open my eyes and tell William what I saw and asked him what it was. All the color in his face disappeared he looked at me then said “We have to go warn them.” he runs back to the house and I follow him. “how far did you like in?” he asks me as he opens the door. “ten fifteen minutes maybe.” I say.
He runs in the house and into the living room where everyone is. I close the door and follow. “their here!” he yells to everyone. “who?” Alex asks. “the knights!” he yells. Everyone’s face turns pale. I look at James and he looks at me and says “we have to leave then!” “no we cant their too close.” William says.
“where are they and how do you know their here?” jasmine asks. “Alyssa . . She looked in to the future she saw them in the barn with the dragon.” William says. “well what do they want?” Rick asks. William looked at him with a sad face and says “Alex. . .”
Everyone got quite and looks at Alex. “what do we do?” rosy asks. “we protect the house Rick can you see if there’s some type of spell we could do to keep them out?” William says. “yea I can check.” Rick says then gets up and pulls a book down from the shelf. He flips threw a few pages then says “found it.”
William walks over to him and reads it. “that’ll work for now.” they carry the book over to the front door and say some were spell then walk back over to us. “we have about twelve hours until the spell wears off.” Rick says.
