Serah had just started Secondary school when it happened. Our parents died a few weeks ago and it had hit both of us hard. Now I had to look after Serah, while also planning our future and worring about the fact we could be split up because of our age.

After walking for 15 minutes Claire had reached Bodhum's Secondary School. With the day about to end Claire waited for Serah in the reception area. She sat on one of the seats in front of the reception and while waiting for Serah, Claire took the time to check the paperwork that Amodar gave her.
"Claire Farron" a loud voice said, She looked up and saw the school's guidance counselor, Mr Carter.
"What do you want Mr Carter", she replied, quickly placing the papers back into her bag.
"I've been looking at your attendance for the last few days Claire." he replied before removing his glasses.
"If you want to give me a speech about how i've not been in school for the last few days, your wasting your time." she replied.
"Claire, we all know your parents died a few weeks ago, but I don't think missing school is helping your future" Carter stated, waiting for her reaction.
"I know, but I have to look after my sister and i've already found a way to do that." Claire said seconds before the end of school bell rang. Mr Carter didn't have the time to ask her about her plan. Serah appeared almost seconds after the bell had stopped ringing.
"Claire, how come I didn't see you at school today?" Serah asked while hugging her.
"I had something to do Serah, it was important." Claire replied.
"Well then, I'll see you both on Monday" Carter said before leaving. After a few minutes, and Serah collecting some of her books from her locker, she and Claire left the School and made their way towards their home.
"So what do you have to do tonight Serah?" Claire asked her.
"Chore wise or homework wise?" Serah replied.
"Both, Serah." Claire said.
"I've got some science and maths homework to do, and then I have to tidy up my room."
"Good, what time do you want dinner?" she then asked.
"Can we have it the normal time?" Serah replied. After their conversation, Claire and Serah continued to walk home, every so often stopping to cross roads and avoid crowds. They walked for 20 minutes before reaching their home. It was a average sized two story house that had 3 bedrooms, a large open plan kitchen/dining room, and a medium sized garden.
