Next day at school Michael walked up to his locker. To see his friends Calum and Ashton waiting for him.
"What are you guys doing here?" Michael asked reaching for the lock.
"How was last night?" Calum said while poking Michael.
"Fine" Michael said opening his locker.
"Fine.....really, I heard..." Ashton started saying when Kelly's friend
Jess started walking down the hall towards them.
"Hey guys" Jess said smiling.
"Hi, Jess" Michael said while grabbing books out of his locker.
"Hey, have you seen Kelly. She isn't answering her phone?" Jess asked Michael.
"No" Michael said back.
"Ok, see ya guys later than" Jess said walking away and waving goodbye.
"Oh My God, she is so cute!" Calum said leaning against the lockers while watching Jess walk away from them.
"Dude!" Ashton said hitting Calum.
"What?!" Calum yelled.
"Dude, She's my sister!" Ashton yelled back.
"I'm sorry if I like your sister" Calum said smiling.
All of a sudden Luke came running down the hall.
"Guys! Guys! Guys!" Luke yelled.
"What!?" They all said.
"W...Wh...Why is Kelly crying?" Luke said while trying to catch his breath.
Calum, Michael, Luke, and Ashton all run to where Kelly was. When they finally got to her. She was on the steps crying.
"Kelly what's wrong?" Ashton asked.
Kelly just kept on crying.
"I think I should text Jess" Ashton said while taking out his phone.
Ashton took out his phone and started texting his sister. Two seconds later Jess was there.
"That was fast" Luke said looking at Jess as she grab onto his shoulders.
"I know" Jess said back smiling wrapping her arms around Luke's neck try to catch her breath.
Calum just look at Jess while she was standing next to Luke and not him.
"Kelly, what's wrong?" Jess said sitting next to Kelly.
"Can you guys just go away" Kelly said putting her head on Jess shoulder.
"Guys?" Jess asked with sad looking smile.
"Fine" They said back and walked away.
"Kel" Jess started.
"Ok, so you know that girl Jamie" Kelly said wiping the tears from her face.
"The really annoying one" Jess said while rolling her eyes.
"Yea, well I was at my locker. When she came up to me and said..." Kelly started saying.
*10 minutes ago*
"Hey, Kelly"
"Hi"
"So I heard you went on a date with Michael last night"
"I wouldn't call it a date....."
"Listen, you should stay away from him!"
"But......."
"Shut up! Michael doesn't like you! He only said yes because he felt sorry for you"
"That's not true, he's my best friend"
"Fine, think that but it's never going to be true"
*Present*
"Kelly that's not true and you know that" Jess said holding Kelly's hands.
"I know but..." Kelly said while starting to cry again.
"Michael likes you I can tell, by the way I see the way he acts when he's around you." Jess said smiling.
"Really" Kelly said back.
"Yes" Jess said smiling.
Jess and Kelly walked back to where the guys were.
"Hey, everything ok now" Michael asked.
"Yeah" Kelly said smiling at Michael.
Michael and Kelly left and walked to class together.
"How did you get her to stop cry?" Calum asked.
"I don't know, she's my best friend I know her." Jess said back smiling at Calum.
"So let's get to class" Ashton said trying to get in between Calum and Jess.
"Ok....?" Jess said "See ya"
"Aren't you going this way" Calum asked.
"No, my class is this way" Jess said pointing in the other direction.
"Hey, I'll walk with you, my class is this way too!" Luke said.
"Ok" Jess said smiling at Luke.
Calum watched as Luke and Jess walked away.
"Come on Calum" Ashton said grabbing Calum's arm.
Later that day. Jess was at her locker.
"Hey, Jess" Calum said walking up to her.
"Hey, Calum" Jess said back smiling.
"So.........." Calum said.
"So......." Jess repeated back.
"Hey, so I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime, you know just the two of us?" Calum asked.
"Oh.....,ummm....I can't, you're one of my brothers friends, it's just seems weird." Jess explained with a sad look on her face "I'm sorry"
Calum looked disappointed, but he know he couldn't let her be with anyone else.
"Yeah, I understand" Calum said back and walked away.
"Hey" Kelly said.
"Oh My God!" Jess screamed "You scared me!"
"So,.......Calum" Kelly said smiling.
"What about Calum" Jess said closing her locker.
"He so likes you" Kelly said still smiling.
"I know, but......." Jess said with a smile.
"But....OMG you like Luke! That's why you are always near him." Kelly said jumping.
"Yes, but I also like Calum, the problem is they are both friends with my brother." Jess explained.
"So, Who cares, you're twins, you're going to have the same friends! That's how I meet Michael and we became friends, you and Ashton formed the group!" Kelly said.
"Oh My God, that's so weird. Plus they're my friends and Ashton doesn't seem like he wants me and Calum together." Jess said back.
"Really, How do you know?" Kelly asked while crossing her arms.
"He push us apart, and tried to get in between us." Jess answered.
"Yeah, That's bad" Kelly said "Oh...looks, There's Ashton and Luke!"
Kelly grabbed Jess's arm and pulled her towards them.
"Hey, Guys!" Kelly said when they got to them.
"Hey Kelly, Hey Jess" Luke said back.
"Hi" Jess said looking at Luke.
"So, what's up" Ashton said trying to get Jess and Luke to stop looking at each other.
"Well, Cal..." Kelly started said when Jess bumped her in the arm "Ouch!"
"What?" Ashton asked.
"Oh, nothing, Nothing knew! What about you guys?" Jess asked trying to avoid the question.
"Same, but Kelly what were you saying?" Ashton asked Kelly.
"Calum Asked Me Out!" Jess screamed out.
"I'm sorry what!" Ashton screamed back.
"Calum, he wanted to know if we could hang out sometime together." Jess answered "But I told him no"
"Why?" Luke asked.
"I don't know" Jess said back leaning against the lockers next to Luke.
"Hey, guys" Michael and Calum said.
"Come on, Kelly" Jess said walked away with Kelly.
"What's up with Jess?" Michael asked.
"Nothing, She's just being weird." Luke answered.
It was silent for a while.
"Ok, I'm going to head to my next class" Michael said walking away.
"Same" Ashton said running after Michael.
It was just Luke and Calum standing there silent again.
"So...., I heard you asked out Jess" Luke said.
"Who told you?" Calum asked.
"Jess" Luke answered.
"Why would she tell you?" Calum asked.
"Well, I think Kelly was, but then
Jess kind of stopped her and then she just blurted it out" Luke explained.
"Oh" Calum said "I have to go"
Calum and Luke walked away from each other.
Calum felt bad because knowing that Luke knew Jess said no, Luke could ask her out now. But also knowing that Luke is friend with Ashton made he feel a little better. He remember Jess saying that she wouldn't go out with her brother's friends which meant Luke didn't have a chance with her either.
Later that day Ashton invite Luke, Michael, and Calum over his house. Also, knowing Jess would invite Kelly over too. When everyone to got their house. Jess and Kelly went up stair to her room and Ashton, Calum, Luke, and Michael went into the basement.
An hour after everyone was there. The guys came up stair to get something to eat. Since Jess's room was right above the kitchen. All they could hear was music blasting from her room. Jess could only play her music when her parent weren't home. And since Jess was the oldest she didn't have to listen to Ashton when he yelled at her to shut it off.
"What the heck are they listening too?!" Michael asked.
"Who knows" Ashton answered.
"Why is it so loud?" Calum asked.
"When our parents aren't home she likes to blast her music as loud as she can." Ashton said while looking for something to eat.
"Could you tell her to shut it off?" Luke asked.
"No, guys she won't listen to me anyway we can't hear it if we go back down stairs" Ashton said back grabbing two bags of chips and headed down the stairs.
Back upstairs in Jess's room.
"So what happen last night" Jess asked looking at Kelly.
"Oh nothing," Kelly said sitting down.
"Come on!!" Jess begged.
"Ok, Michael and I almost kissed" Kelly eventually said.
"OMG! Does he like you!?" Jess asked.
"I don't know, All I know is that he knows that I like him. He never said if he likes me" Kelly said lying down on Jess bed.
"Well if he wanted to kiss you then he probably like you" Jess said smiling.
"You think, he's the one that lend in first" Kelly said excitedly.
"Yup, he totally likes you back if he want to kiss you. You have to tell him!" Jess said excitedly too.
"I can't" Kelly said sadly.
"Why not! He's in the basement right now let's go" Jess begged.
"Fine" Kelly agreed.
Kelly and Jess got up from the bed. Jess when over and shut off the music and they headed down stair to the basement to where the boys were playing video games.
"Ashton! Ashton!....ASH!!" Jess yelled from the stairs.
"What!?" Ashton yelled back pausing the game.
"Nothing, Michael Kelly wants you she upstairs in the kitchen." Jess yelled back.
"Ok" Michael said getting up and walking up the stairs to Kelly.
"What does she want" Calum asked.
"I don't know ask Michael when he comes down" Jess said walking all the way down the stair to the guys.
Luke watched as Jess walked over to them. He took out his phone.
"Hey, Jess I want to show you something" Luke said calling Jess over.
"What?" Jess asked, putting her arms around Luke's neck again.
"Here" Luke said handing her his phone.
"Awwwwww, it's so cute, it's like a little fluffy ball of cuteness" Jess said back, putting her head on Luke's shoulders now.
"What is it a picture of?" Calum and Ashton asked.
"A cute little baby penguin!" Jess said awing over it.
Then Michael came down the stairs and walked over to the guys and sat down.
"So what's up" Ashton asked.
Michael looked over at Jess. She looked over at Michael and gave Luke back his phone smiled.
"Send that to me" Jess said smiling run back up the stairs and closed the door.
"Ok, so when I went upstairs" Michael started saying.
*3 minutes ago*
"So what do you need to tell me" Michael asked Kelly when he got upstairs.
"Oh.....Ummm, well" Kelly started
"Did you finish the math test"
"Oh....Yeah, it was hard, but I finish. You?"
"Same,....OK thanks"
*Present*
"Math Test, that's what she wanted?" Calum said annoyed.
"Yeah, don't know why she didn't just come down stairs." Michael said to himself and the others.
Back upstairs.
"So did you tell him?" Jess asked.
"Yeah, of course I did" Kelly said nervously.
"You're lying!" Jess said back.
"No I'm not!" Kelly yelled.
"Then, I'll go ask him Mic..!" Jess started about to walk down stairs.
"Ok, fine" Kelly said reaching for Jess's hand.
"Whyyyyy!" Jess whined.
"Cause he's so hot, I don't know!" Kelly complained.
All of a sudden the doorbell rang, and Jess and Ashton ran for the door. Ashton got to the door first and open it, and some girl was at the door.
"Who are you?" Ashton asked as he open the door.
"I'm Laura" the girl said back.
"Move" Jess said pushing Ashton out of the way "She's my friend, come on in"
"Thanks" Laura said while in looking at Ashton.
"Ashton go down stairs and leave us alone" Jess said walking up the stairs.
"Who's that?" Laura asked.
"My Brother, we're twins so his friends are down stairs. You'll meet them later." Jess said smiling.
When Jess and Laura got upstairs. Kelly came up with some food.
"I didn't know you had a brother" Laura said
"Most people don't" Jess said with a little smile.
Ashton and the guys when upstairs to Jess's room. They knocked at the door.
"What!?" Jess yelled.
"Can I come in?" Ashton asked.
"Why? Jess asked, as she open the door. "And why are you all up here?"
Ashton slammed the door open and entered the room. So did Calum, Luke, and Michael.
"Why are you all in my room?" Jess asked as all the boys came into her room.
"Yeah, Ashton why did you bring us up here?" Michael asked.
"I wanted to ask Laura out." Ashton said looking at Laura.
"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled back.
