He looked up, startled, his brown hair covering his eyes as he laughed.
"Yeah?" He asked, looking around the room for the source of the voice.
His eyes landed on Liam and he gasped in a girly manor, a wide smile coming onto his face.
"Liam!" He shouted, running over to him and giving him a hug. "Oh my gosh Liam I've missed you so much. Why didn't you visit me? Have you seen Natalie lately? I wonder what she looks like now... Is my Mum okay? Have these people met Natalie? Wait... How do you know Harry?"
James carried on babbling for a while before Liam stopped him, placing his hands on his shoulders.
"James you've always talked too much." Liam laughed.
James pouted playfully, hitting his cousin on the shoulder lightly. "Don't be mean."
Oh my gosh. He's such a girl, I mentally laughed.
"Have you ever heard of One Direction?" Liam asked, grinning.
"Um, I think so. Don't they sing that 'Beautiful' song?" James said, looking confused. "Why?"
"I'm in One Direction. You know Harry, and this is Niall, Zayn and Louis." Liam informed him, pointing to each boy as he said their name.
"Oh! How did you meet?"
"We got put together as a band on the X-Factor." Liam grinned.
"Oh, that's cool." He smiled, "I'm going to audition for the X-Factor this year."
Throughout his whole moment I was just stood there, with my mouth open wide.
That was actually my brother.
My own twin brother.
"Oh, and that's Natalie." Liam said, smiling slightly, pointing at me.
"What?" James asked, turning around to face me with a shocked face.
"Hi?" I said sheepishly, waving awkwardly.
"NATALIE!" James cried, running at me with the biggest grin I'd ever seen in my life.
Oh ducks.
As James practically tackled me to the floor he started hugging me too, talking non-stop about stuff I wasn't listening to.
I was just looking into his eyes, smiling slightly.
My brother was beautiful, he looked nothing like me. We'd never really looked alike, James and I. We'd have the same hair colour, but that's about it.
I have my brother back.
"Natalie...? Nat? Helloooo?" James asked.
"What? Oh! Oh my god. Jam?" I shouted, using his old nickname.
"Oh Nat. Don't call me that. You know I hate it."
"Exactly." I grinned.
"Wait...? What's going on?" Harry interrupted.
"HARRY!" James cried excitedly. "Thank you so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
James got off of me quickly and tackled Harry instead, practically crushing him to the floor.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" James repeated.
"For what?" Harry asked, puzzled at James' excitement.
"Yeah, for what?" Niall said sarcastically.
I glared at Niall, causing him to awkwardly smile at me.
"What's going on?" Louis and Zayn said in unison.
"It's Natalie!" James cried at Harry, getting off him and coming to stand next to me.
"Yeah it i- wait? How do you even know Liam and Natalie?"
"Is she like, your ex girlfriend or something?" Zayn asked.
"What?!" Both Jam and I cried.
We both turned to each other and burst out laughing.
Liam was also trying to keep in his chuckles with the back of his hand.
"What's so funny...?" Zayn asked.
"N- Natalie.. Oh my god. Ahaha!" James laughed.
"That's just disgusting." I said inbetween laughs.
"No." Louis piped up, "They're all definitely related. Look at them."
Me and James nodded in unison, "We're twin's." we both said at the same time.
"Woah!" I cried, putting up my hand for a high five.
James slapped my hand before pulling it back and muttering an, 'ow'.
"Oh, yep. You can see it now." Niall said.
"You're just glad she isn't dating him. You were so jealous of him just then."
Niall just blushed a beetroot red and looked away awkwardly, "I was not."
"Aw! Lili, does the Irish one have a crush on Natalie?!" James teased.
"Yeah, Niall does, and Natalie likes him back but they both won't admit it to eachother."
"Well that's stupid."
"I do not!" Niall and I both cried at the same time.
"They should be the twins." Jam said, laughing.
"Yeah but then Natalie would like you because she can't like her own twin."
"Oh, ew. That's horrible."
Everyone laughed at James' expression.
"So James, what did you say about auditioning for the X-Factor?" Louis asked.
"Oh, yeah. The auditions are next week." James grinned.
"That's not even fair. All my family can sing and I sound like a drowning sock."
Niall burst out laughing, "Ally, I think it's a drowning cat. Not sock."
"Shut up." I playfully pouted.
"Ohh, I see what you mean now." James said, looking at both Niall and I.
"Yep."
I could see Louis scowling from the corner of the sofa, glaring at everybody.
What was his problem?
"What are you going to sing?" I asked James.
"Toxic by Brittany Spears."
"Ooh, that's different." Liam said.
James just grinned.
"Can you sing for us?" Zayn asked.
"Yesyesyes!" Harry cried.
"Aw guys, I'm not sure..." James said awkwardly.
"Come on James. Please?"
"Okay, but I'm gonna need a guitar."
"Here, use mine." Niall said, grabbing his guitar from the corner of the rooom and passing it to James.
"Aw! That's unfair! You can play the guitar too?" I moaned.
"Yup." James grinned.
Everyone went quiet as he sat down on the sofa next to Louis and started strumming random notes on the guitar before it turned into the tune of 'Toxic by Britanny Spears'.
"With the taste of your lips I'm on a ride,
You're toxic, I'm slippin' under,
A taste of your poison, paradise,
I'm addicted to you,
Don't you know that you're toxic." He sang with his eyes closed.
He opened one of his eyes cautiously, looking around at everybody with only one eye open.
I think everyone was speechless.
"James you're amazing!!" Louis eventually cried.
"You're so auditioning next week!" Liam cried.
"Was I good?" He squeaked curiously.
"Good?! You were absolutely amazing."
"See! It's so unfair. Where do you both get your talent from? It's not fair." I pouted.
Everyone just laughed.
I had missed my brother.
