i eat clouds and drink rain
i stand on earth breathing in air that the heavens breathed down onto me
he was calling
he knew i wasn't god
he told me to tear my mask down cause ( hey! ) the heavens wouldn't possibly like me

and his eyes those eyes
that look of disgust and that
unpleasant petty frown
gave me the urge to tape his mouth
blindfold his eyes
