Chapter 25 : WE LOVE YOU
ISABELLA'S POV
" Last wish ?!" I exclaim while glaring at Day and she gives me a shippish smile before running away .
I was about to go on her trail
but dad stops me mid way .
"Explain" he demands
Great !
" You are so dead!" I glare at her after she sticks her tongue out at me .
Dad crosses his hand and all of them are looking at me expectantly.
" First of all ,
he is just a friend and nothing else !
Second of all ,
he's name is Marvin and not Mario!
Third of all , he is not my
supposedly temporary bf !"
" But you said he's cute" Day shouts
" Cute?! He is eew " Royal says
" I just appreciated his cuteness , that's it " I say genuinely
" Jas it's okay " Mom smiles at Dad who has a look ,
I can't seem to figure it out .
But it kinda resembles to the one when I played Twister with Ro or
when I bought Joyce home because we had to complete an assignment together.
"If he calls again, tell him that
my daughter is off limits " , Dad says this to Royal .
" Gladly " he smirks
My phone starts buzzing again and this time , I am quick to respond .
I take it and pick it up .
" Hey Bella "
" Hi Marvin" I say and go away from that table to talk to him .
"How are you ?"
"I'm good , you?"
"Now that I am talking to you ,
I feel good"
"Are you trying to flirt ?" I chuckle
"Kinda , did it work ?"
"Not exactly "
"Anyway have you been to the doctor lately ?"
"Why?"
"Because I think you are lacking some vitamin 'Me' "
"Seriously Marvin, that was bad ,
but you can give it another shot"
"I would love to but first you need to forget about spiderman , batman "
"Um why so?"
"Because I will be your man"
"Damn . So what's gotten into you ?"
"It's just that I'm missing you"
"So we'll be meeting after a week
or so"
"I know but "
I couldn't hear what is said after that because my phone was snatched from my hand .
"Hello" Ro says
"Hello , I can't hear you .
Don't call me back . Unfortunately I'll see you soon "
Ro continues then ends the call .
He returns my phone back while
I just give him the look stating,
' What the hell do you think
you're doing?! '
To which , he just replies ,
"Your dad's order " and walks back into the kitchen as if he did not just do that .
What a lovely person!
I don't know what was more sarcastic, the fact that I called him lovely or
the fact that I called him a person !
I quickly texted Marvin that I am sorry and it was just my friend who loves to annoy the hell out of me !
Just as I enter the kitchen ,
I find that the elders are in the living room .
Riley and Ro are talking to someone on the video call .
Just as I past them , I hear ,
"What's Isabella doing there ?"
I turn sideways ,
only to see Jessica's face ,
I grab Ro's phone and smirk at him .
"What the hell are you doing with
Ro's family ?" she says
"I'd give you a nasty look but I see
you already got one "
"What did you just say !"
"Sorry can't hear you " I pout and
end the call .
Riley , Daisy looks confused ,
while Ro continues to glare at me !
"Advice of the day :
Don't you mess with me " I smirk .

" So choose Royal or Marvin?"
"Day , do you even have to ask ?"
"I know , but you picked Marvin's call so hurriedly and then you were giggling while talking to him ,
what was that ?"
"Well , let's just say he's very bad at flirting "
"I hope you are not leading him on "

"You know what I mean Bell ! Whatever happens , you are going to choose Ro over and over again!
So , if Marvin actually catches feelings for you then he's gonna end up getting hurt "
"Firstly , Ro's my bestfriend and he doesn't love me that way .
Secondly, I know I admitted that I have a tiny miny crush on Marvin but that's just it .
I'm sure that Marvin doesn't like me that much , I mean look at me !

"Oh I thought we both were supposed to lie " she jokes and I hit her arm playfully .
"Anyways what was that ?" I ask

" Aunt Jasmine , your supposedly temporary son in law " I mimic her

"That day , I clearly mentioned ,

"I told the news to the trusted ones. Your secret's safe " she chuckles
"I'm calling your dear boyfriend and telling him one of your embarassing story !"
"No no , you are not going to do anything of that sort "
"Oh I guess I am! I'll just tell him about your interaction with your first crush !"
"No way . Look , you're a good best friend , right ?"
"That puppy dog eyes don't work on me "
" Please ?"
" I'll tell him how you asked your first crush on date ,
' Hey , umm , will you go to the movies with me tonight ? '
And when he didn't reply , so you continued saying ,
' As brother-sister and nothing else ' "
" Dont remind me " she groans and hids her face in her palms .
"I'm kidding , besides your secret is safe with me " I smirk
"Sorry na !" she whispers
" I'll let you go this time "
"Thanks ha " she says sarcastically and I roll my eyes
"By the way , I know your permanent husband "
"If you say 'Royal' , which you are going to , I'm gonna change my Netflix password! "
"That's rude . So what if I'm the biggest 'Rozy' shipper ! "she chuckles
"I'm reminding you for the hundredth time that Ro has a gf and I don't love him in that way , at least not now "
I do love him but in a bff way ,
also I like him, but I'm not gonna admit that !
Does that mean I got 2 crushes at the same time !

"Whatever makes you sleep at night " she says
I ignore her comment and then we start watching "IT" , followed by it's second part .
We have pulled the curtains down and switched the lights off for the effect ,I'm hugging my teddy just in case .

" It's raining, it's pouring , the old man is snoring " ,
My mom's not so soothing sing-song voice is enough for us to wake up and block our ears using our pillows.
"I'm up!" Daisy yawns
On the other hand, I just roll onto the other side.
" Good , your mom will be here anytime now to pick you up "
" Alright , I'll just get ready "
" Also , will you just wake her up too ?" Mom asks Day
" Surely" she says and I can imagine the smirk forming along her lips .
I hear my mom's footsteps leaving and before I can think of what Daisy is upto, I feel her weight on my back !
" Roses are red . Violets are blue.
I have ten fingers . The middle ones are for you " I whisper-yell
" Geez . You sound worse than your mom " she says and gets off me , haha , plan worked!
She goes to the bathroom while I replay yesterday's moments .
I spent the whole day and night with Daisy as we slept around 5 in the morning .
I look at the clock , it reads 1 pm .
Obviously mom knew we were up so she didn't wake us early .
Ro's fam went home yesterday noon and I can't shake the feeling I got when he whispered something in my ears before leaving,
"I have got some tough competition "
" What?"
" From you"
" What the ?" hell are you talking about you , that's what I wanted to say but he cut me off midway
" You or Me ? Who's sexier?' " ,
he said and bit his lip !
" What the fudge!" I exclaim and
he just winks before leaving.

And here I thought he forgot about the accidental morning topless incidence .
Me and Day talked a lot, from anything to everything !
Even though we were not a major part of each other's moments due to distance for the past few months
but still we played a huge role just knowing we have each other's back
We watched Movies and listened songs , yes we sang too !
Her voice is better than me and
let's just say it's bearable .
She's a nerd , like literally , because she ended up bringing her bio book along , which she couldn't even open because I didnt let her , lol
She aspires to become a doctor and
I can imagine her being one , she got the traits , she's caring and funny too , she'll handle her patients well!
After she got dressed up , I freshened up too .
We had brunch together and then she went off not before planning a meet up though .
" So me , Patty and you , sounds good ?"
" Sounds great , if that's what you thought I'd say then you are wrong "
" I dont know anything you are coming , that's final " she says
" Are you kidding me Day ?
You also know I'm gonna end up being a third wheel "
" Then Bring Royal along "
" Are you kidding me again Day?
You also know he won't tag along "

Mom just gives dad the look stating
'Seriously?'
And dad returns it with a smirk

" I know you both are freaking couple goals but showcasing it in front of someone who's single since birth should be considered illegal "
To which they just laugh at me !
" Don't worry Bell one day someone will be love you just as much as your dad loves me or maybe even more "
" And if that person ever does end up hurting you ,
then just let me know so I "
" So you ? " my mom's intervenes in between
" So I ? I didn't said anything !"
" Then you are going to sort it out with him by understanding each other because if he truly loves you then there would be a valid reason for him doing something which caused the pain , if not then maybe he's not the one "
" But Mom if that person hurts me even when he realizes that he's the reason behind the pain then what? Should I just forget about it and forgive him or ?"
" Sweetheart , it depends on what that person has done and who is that person, how important or how special he is to you and vice versa .
And yes if he's really sorry for his mistakes , then he deserves a second chance because maybe the first time when he committed it , he failed to see the light to guide him "
" Oh "
" But now he'll have you as his star which shines even in the darkness , do you understand?" She says while tilting my chin up.
I nod .
I have forgiven Ro but have I forgotten about it ?
Nope ..
" Because Bella , if your mother hadn't forgiven me for some of the mistakes of my life , we wouldn't have been here . We wouldn't have been happy . We wouldn't have been what we are today " he says and continues ,
" Life would have been completely different and unimaginable",
His voice low .
It's as if he was recalling whatever mistakes he made in the past which ended up hurting Mom .
" I know you can't imagine dad doing so but after all , we all are humans and making a mistake is not a bad thing , but not learning from it is ! And I admit , sometimes it's been my fault too but still your father choosed to hear my part of the story and
at the end of the day , instead of misunderstanding and creating more problems between us , he chose to understand whatever it was "
Suddenly I see dad's mood lifted up .
I go towards them and hug them .
" I love you both"
" We love you more sweetie " they say
After we pull away with a genuine smile plastered on our faces .
