The day came home while his entire world were crumbling. Saint felt like dead inside. Of course they've already found a new person to play as Pete. There are a lot of aspiring young actors that wants to debut no matter what the role is.
The next thing Saint realized, he was already on his bed, laying and his brain was just blank. He just can't process yet the fact that he was replaced that easily andㅡ he broke his promise to the person he started this journey with.
"I am such an awful person. And I'm the older one."
He didn't sigh. Instead, tears came rolling down his puffy cheek. He started crying hard then.
The promise he made with Perth is important. Too important that he don't mind rejecting other projects the moment he's offered the role of Pete again. He won't hesitate to cancel everything for it.
But in the end, he couldn't do it. He couldn't fight for his right and for himself.
Depression.
Regret.
Anger.
He wished these words were enough to describe what he's feeling at the moment but noㅡ it's more than that.
He wanna keep crying but crying doesn't bring anything back.
He felt like he needed to talk to Perth one more time so he decided to call him but as expected, no answer. It just kept ringing.
Perth didn't block him yet so it's probably a good sign.
He kept calling him even though he knows no one's gonna be at the end of the line.
After a few times of trying, he finally gave up.
"He doesn't wanna talk to me."
Obviously.
Who would wanna talk to a traitor? Atleast to Saint, it was a big deal. Was it also the same with Perth? He didn't even looked hurt that much.
He thought of moping for a while but it wouldn't make a difference crying over spilt milk, wouldn't it?
But for the day, he was done. He needed to recharge so without eating much, he headed to his bed straight, and forcefully closed his eyes to sleep.
The Next Day; 11:30 AM
Saint thought he'd have the energy to even lift a finger but no, he overslept.
Why?
Cause he wasn't able to sleep easily last night. After rolling and rolling over and over on his bed for a few good minutes, he finally drifted to dreamland. Although it was past midnight already.
"What will do I even have to get up? I'm so messed up right now." He though to himself.
Then a knock on his door made him flinch.
It was his mom.
Mae Nuk: Saint, get up already. It's almost lunch.
Saint: Good morning mom.
Mae Nuk: What's up? You don't have work today?
Saint fell silent.
As a mom, she knows fully well something happened even without his son telling him.
Mae Nuk: Come on, we're gonna talk this over lunch. Get up already.
Saint didn't want to but his mom forced him. Not like he had a choice.
Over lunch, Saint told his mom everything. Everything including what happened with Perth.
Mae Nuk: Then why don't you just move on already?
Saint stopped.
How could his mom say that? Even after telling her the importance of the promise he made.
Saint: Excuse me, mom?
Mae Nuk: Just move on. Don't dwell on it so much.
Saint: Why are you even saying that?

Before his mom could finish reprimanding him, he already went for the tightest hug he could give. He knows telling his mom about his situation is the best decision, otherwise he'd just be blind forever.

Mae Nuk: Okay, now finish your food and do what you have to do. Remember, I'm always here for you. You are my one and only treasure.
Saint gave her a tight hug again and went back to his seat to happily eat the food his mom prepared for him.
2PM; Attractor Building
Saint was shaking. After the meal, he kept on calling Perth but still no luck.
Then he saw someone walking towards the entrance.
It was Plan.
Saint: Plan!!!!
Plan: Oh, Saint. What are you doing here?
Saint: Yeah, umm. About that, how are you? You see. I really wanna talk with Perth but he doesn't answer his calls so Iㅡ
Plan: Oh, he's probably flirting with his new pair right now, Saint.
Saint flinched. "Flirting?"
Saint: W-what do y-you mean?
Plan: Wait, are you okay? You dont look well.
Saint: N-no, Im fine. Iㅡ could you please call Perth? I really just wanna talk with him personally.
Plan: Okay? But why don't you just come with me upstairs.
Saint: Is it really okay?
Plan: Of course! The entire people inside here probably knows you through Perth. Cmon!
Saint: Okay, thank you.
Plan and Saint went inside and went straight to the floor Perth was on.
They headed straight to the end of the corner room, Plan knocked and then there he saw Perth, alone.
Plan: Glad you're alone now. Someone's here to talk to you.
Perth: Who?
And just like that Perth's eyes went extra huge seeing Saint unexpectedly. The man he wanted to be away from.
But as to not make things awkward, he tried to act natural.
Perth: P'Saint? What are you doing here khrab?
Saint feel his heart ache a bit. He's being completely formal with him as if theyre strangers.
Plan: I'll leave you guys to talk okay?
Saint: Thank you Plan.
Plan just smiled and closed the door.
Perth: Erm, do you need anything P'Saint? What can I do for you?
Saint: You're asking what you can do for me? For real?
Perth: Uh, khrab?
Saint: Then take me back. Please.
Perth and his confused face was like ???
Perth: What do you mean take you back khrab?
Saint: Stop that! You are being too formal with me!
Perth: But you are older than me right? So it's right toㅡ
Saint: No! You used to not do that. So stop it.
Perth: But I don't wanna be disrespectful khrab.
Saint: No! We used to be like brothers right.
Perth: That's right
Saint: Thenㅡ
Perth: "Used to."
Perth sounded like he highlighted the sentence.
Perth: And now we're just, junior and senior in age. So what more is there to talk about? I respect you khrab.
Saint wanted to tear up but he doesn't want to be unable to speak so he held back the tears for now.

Then Saint started crying. The tears he held finally fell down.
Saint: Take me back as Pete. Please?
Perth was shocked and cofused seeing Saint begging infront of him.
Perth: But P'Saint, that's not my decision to make khrab. And besides, we already found my new pair. He is such a lively, bubbly and a cute person. You should meet him some time. He's here but he went out for now.
Insensitivity met insensitivity. Ugh it's such a mess!
Saint: Then, who do I beg?
Saint still continued talking even if his heart was aching.
Perth: It's the director, Khun New and the writer, P'Mame, that you need to talk to. Not me khrab. I'm just an actor in this series.
Saint: C-can you tell me where they are?
Perth: They won't be here for a while. You know how things go right khrab?
Saint with his little hiccups, wanted to ask a heart- wrenching question.
Saint: T-then, can I ask you something Perth?
Saint was getting hurt to see and feel like Perth have already moved on from the fact that they won't be paired in their first series anymore.
Perth: What is it khrab?
Saint: Do you still like to be paired with me?
Perth paused for a moment. He honestly was caught off guard with that question.
But after making up his mind, he finally told him the truth.
Perth: Honestly, P'Saint? I don't know. I really enjoyed our time together. But it seem like you didn't.
Saint's heart went downhill in an instant.
Perth wanted to walk away but he stopped mid track to let out his final words for him.
Perth: Oh and P'Saint, what promise were you talking about?
That's it. That was the last straw. Saint started crying again while Perth walked away. Perth buried that thought deep that he probably forgotten about it.
Saint's insides were like a turmoil of disasters. It was his fault. It was all his fault.
He crouched down to cry but then he felt a pair of hands embracing his shoulders.
Saint: Perthㅡ
No. It wasn't his nong. It was Plan.
Plan: Saint, why are you sitting here like this? What happened?
Then Saint felt sad all over again. Not even answering Plan's question.
But he made up his mind. He is gonna talk to the director and the writer and beg them to take them back.
