They arrived at the hospital and she hadn't finished all her tests, so all nine of them sat in the waiting room.
"What happened?" Leanne asked nervously.
"I accidentally heelied into the ladder she was standing on and she fell and hit her head on the fireplace and it may have bled, quite badly..., " Millie answered.
"Auntie Millie, I swear if..."
"Woah, don't finish that sentence!" Aimie interrupted.
"Miss Paris' family?"
They all shot our head round to face the nurse,
" Fortunately, the bleed was external and she only received a severe concussion - she is currently quite confused and is suffering from amnesia both of which we are certain are to sort themselves out by this evening. We would like to keep her in until her symptoms resolve, just to make sure nothing further develops."
"Can we do and see her?" J'jaye asked.
"Only if you are biologically related or a spouse"
"I'll go, " Leanne said then she got up and turned to face the nurse. "I'm her daughter,"
"Follow me, " She began as she walked off. "What's your name?"
"Leanne, Leanne Paris" she answered as she opened the door.
"Hey Mum, you okay?"
Natalie nodded her head. "Love you,"
"I love you too, " Natalie smiled. "Why am I in here again?"
"Millie knocked you over while you were on a ladder, "
"Oh yeah, I forgot,"
Leanne noticed her mum shut her eyes for a few seconds.
"Tired?"
"Yeah, very"
"I'll go so you can sleep, " Leanne said as she went to pick up her coat.
"No, stay." Natalie responded grabbing her daughter's hands.
