Recently I have become quite obsessed with the Maze Runner series and have read all five books. I particularly love Newt.
So, for the fun of it, I am writing an xReader Maze Runner fic. Please enjoy.
Keep in mind that I have tried to stay as accurate to the books as possible, but there will be some instances where I have to take poetic license, or, you know, include a scene from the movies because some scenes are just too good.
Also keep I mind that I get bored writing really fast. I PROMISE NEVER TO LEAVE A FIC UNFINISHED. EVER. That being said, I cannot guarantee the quality of my writing as a great deal of it takes place on the notes app of my phone in the wee hours of the morning. I also do a lot of time skipping so if that isn't your thing then you should leave.
Also I read all the comments, just letting you know. Don't be surprised if I reply or whatever, I like interacting with you guys lol
All characters except (Y/N) belong to James Dashner and most events and places do too.
Update (June 2021)
I wrote this before I found out Newt was gay, and now I feel bad. However, since I didn't know he was gay at the time and like... this is fanfiction, I'm not gonna delete it. I wanna make it clear that I'm in no way "straight washing" him (is that a thing? Maybe, but you get the gist) and that I fully support gay rights and all that (I'm queer myself). I also head-cannoned him as fruity, I just wasn't sure exactly what. Anyways... I'll let you all get back to it because if the numbers on this are any indication, you're enjoying it.

Update: in the process of rewriting and posting my old stuff on AO3 and tumblr (both @/hollybell51), and while this series isn't there as of right now (I'll let you know when it is) my Maze Runner Oneshots collection is (on here it's called Maze Runner Imagines and Preferences and you can find it on my profile but I cannot stress how highly I recommend you skip straight to tumblr/AO3) and it is doing wonderfully. It's much better than anything I put out for this fandom on here, and I think it'd be cool if you popped over and gave it a shot. The support would honestly mean the world to me.
