• A story from 6 years ago and 3 years into the future. •

I remember in Autumn of 2011, we had an assembly at school by this guy who was helping to make the Olympic Staidum for London 2012. I remember at the end, he said after the Olympics, they would remodel the aquatic centre to not be so huge, and that would be done in 2014 and open to the public, I was excited because I loved swimming (even though I wasn't desperate to swim there. Just briefly amazed by the concept of time.) I remember thinking - "Wow, 2014 that's ages away." I'll have to wait years for it to be finished. It's 2020 now and I still have that weird feeling that 2014 is a few years away.
I wish it was true though, time has flown too fast. Time has fallen apart in my mind. And I kind of wish that 2014 was still 3 years away, and that I'm still waiting for the aquatic centre to be remodelled all over again.
