Your hair is a flow of lava, long and above boiling temperatures, and you can lengthen it and make a river of magma around you. You can alter the heat of the lava, and turn it to solid rock or burn some of it off to ash, then later regain its length and turn it back to viscus (lava). Other parts of your body can be turned to magma/solid lava. If all of your hair is put out, you could die.
