Y/N was relaxing in his hammock when his scroll went off. He checked to see that he message was from Ozpin.
Ozpin: 'Meet me in my office, we need to discuss a few things.'
Y/N: Wonder what he needs to talk about.
Y/N made his way to Ozpin's office and sat in a chair,
Y/N: So what's going on?
Ozpin: How well can you escape?
Y/N: Seems like a strange question, but I've never been caught before.
Ozpin: What about the night we first met?
Y/N: I ALLOWED myself to be caught. Remember, I had business to attend to.
Ozpin: Right, anyways, I was hoping if you could perhaps... Help some of our students.
Y/N: Sounds interesting... What is it?
Ozpin: I want team RWBY to try and bring me, The Shadow Rose.
Y/N: Try to capture the uncapturable... I like it.
Ozpin: So do you agree?
Y/N: Of course, just know I wont make it easy. And I promise not to use my second Semblance on them.
Ozpin: Good, I don't want them to be in too much panic.
Y/N: That, and they've already seen me use it.
Ozpin: I'll notify you when I send them out.
Y/N: Very well, Anything else?
Ozpin: That will be all, good day Mr. L/N.
Y/N left the room and rode down the elevator thinking on ways he could toy with them. When he got off he noticed a strange person wearing a dark blue cloak and a strange mask get on.
Y/N: (Who was he? I felt... cold around him.)
Y/N use his shadows and teleported into Ozpin's office on the rafters. He watched as the figure entered the room and walk up to Ozpin.
Dragnarok: Professor Ozpin.
Ozpin: Hello, how can I help you Mr...?
???: Call me Dragnarok.
Ozpin: Okay, Dragnarok, what do you need?
Dragnarok: Have you noticed any sudden disappearances lately?
Ozpin: Can't say I have, why do you ask?
Dragnarok: Damn, so he's playing the waiting game again.
Ozpin: Who is?
Dragnarok: Okay, I'm gonna cut the crap. I know who you are Ozpin... I know about magic, the four Maidens, and even Salem. I even know that your name was once Ozma a long, long time ago.
Ozpin was quiet, and Y/N was a little surprised. Who was this person and what makes him think these are true.
Ozpin: How do you know of these things?
Dragnarok removed the dragon skull that was covering his face and showed a draconic face.
(This is exactly what the skull looks like.)
Dragnarok: Well, believe it or not, I'm not from this world.
Ozpin: Yet you know so much about this world.
Dragnarok: Well, to be fair I just came from a world very similar to this one. You were the one who told us of these things.
Ozpin: Us?
Dragnarok: Sorry, I'm not allowed to mess with this world's timeline too much. But I will give you a list later that you will find very interesting.
Ozpin: So why are you here?
Dragnarok: Well, while I did defeat an ancient monster of great evil, he made something and it absorbed the dark power he had.
Ozpin: And I assume you followed him here?
Dragnarok: Yes, his name is Cross.
Ozpin: Cross?
Dragnarok: Yes, Cross. As a joke to a hellish world where everyone had a rash on their face that was an X on a circle. In other worlds, it's the mark of the Slenderman.
Ozpin: So I take it he is very dangerous.
Dragnarok: Yes, and if I had to guess, he's sided with Salem.
Ozpin: What does he want exactly?
Dragnarok: To purge the light and conquer as many worlds as he can.
Ozpin: I'll make sure that we keep an eye out, and when we do we'll see that our best hunters and huntresses are sent out.
Dragnarok: NO!
Dragnarok slammed his fist down on the desk shattering it.
Dragnarok: S-sorry about that. I just want you to contact me.
Ozpin: If you think that would be best, then so be it.
The shattered desk slowly put itself back together.
Dragnarok: Good, now mind if I had a word with your student up there?
Y/N: (SHIT! How did he know I was here?)
Y/N Dropped down from the ceiling dropping the shadows around him.
Y/N: So, how long did you know I was up there?
Dragnarok: Since I got here. Now why did you follow me?
Y/N: Honestly? I felt something off about you.
Dragnarok: Well, considering my abilities are considered to be of evil back home, I don't blame you.
Y/N: So what is your Semblance?
Dragnarok: Well, I've mainly been using only two of my powers.
Y/N: And what are they?
Dragnarok: Fear and Shadow. And what you witnessed was me using something called Dragon Time, I just used it to turn back the time on the desk . But it's mainly used for slowing down time.
Y/N: Wait, Fear and Shadow?
Dragnarok: Yes, why do you ask?
Ozpin: Well, Y/N's Semblances are of Fear Control and Shadow Manipulation.
Dragnarok: I see why Cross is interested in this world now.
Y/N: I take it is because some stupid thing you did, right?
Dragnarok: Haha, I like this boy Oz. I See why you let him in.
Ozpin: So what exactly did you do?
Dragnarok: I may have overused my powers trying to defeat Cross and it overflowed into this world.
Y/N: So why do you want to talk to me?
Dragnarok: Just to know what you intend to do with your powers.
Y/N: Well, protect the weak. help the innocent, and continue my mission.
Dragnarok: A promise I take it?
Y/N: Is it that obvious?
Dragnarok: I made a promise to myself a long time ago, and I kept it. I know you'll do the same.
Y/N: I will, and I also use my Semblances to kick team CRDL's asses.
Dragnarok: Good for you. Never did like them, never will. Although you have to give them credit for not giving up easily
Y/N: I think that's called stupidity. I mean, you don't see a grape try to balance an anvil on itself.
Dragnarok: Haha, true.
Y/N: Anything else?
Dragnarok: Ozpin, let him in on it. It's not like you can keep it from him forever.
A green vortex appeared and a small green dragon walked out holding a clipboard.
???: Hey Drake, don't forget you have a meeting to attend to in 20 minutes.
Dragnarok: Dammit, Whistala, can't my sister take care of it?
Whistala: Hey, she needs you there to help her. Now finish up your business here and get ready.
Dragnarok: Guess I'm needed elsewhere. See ya soon Y/N.
And with that Dragnarok put the skull back on and walked through a green vortex with the other dragon. Ozpin grumbled before turning to Y/N. He pressed a button on his scroll calling someone.
Ozpin: Glynda, I need you in my office.
Y/N: Professor Ozpin, what exactly was he talking about?
Ozpin: Y/N, What's your favorite fairy tale?
Later That Night.
Y/N walked into his dorm and pulled his cloak off a mannequin he had in the closet. Vernde was busy reading a mechanics guidebook.
Vernde: Going for a stroll?
Y/N: Yeah, need to clear my head for a bit.
Vernde: Alright, just don't get into trouble.
Y/N laughed as he put on the cloak and jumped onto the window sill.
Y//N: You know me, I don't gt into trouble...
Vernde: You find trouble I know, I know. So when will you be back?
Vernde was answered with silence. He looked up from his book and saw Y/N had already left.
Vernde: So you don't know then... Alright.
Somewhere Downtown
Y/N was sitting on a rooftop thinking. His mind was racing as he tried to piece together all the information he had been told earlier. He noticed team RWBY were walking around, as if they were looking for someone.
Y/N: (Let the hunt begin.)
Ruby POV
It was pretty strange for Ozpin to ask us to do this mission for him. Especially this late at night.
Flashback
Glynda: *Over the intercom* Would team RWBY please come to the office?
Ruby looked over to her sister and frowned.
Me: Yang, what did you do this time?
Yang: Nothing I swear!
Weiss: Let's just hurry up and go.
We made our way to the headmaster's office and when we got there we saw Professor Ozpin waiting for us.
Ozpin: Ah, team RWBY, I'm so glad you could make it.
Me: I there Something you need?
Ozpin: Yes. Now tell me, have you heard of The Shadow Rose?
Me: No.
Weiss: Yes.
Blake: Kinda
Yang: I've heard that name once or twice.
Ozpin: Well, I want you four to go out and bring him in... At any cost.
Me: Do you mind if I ask why you want him?
Ozpin: I believe that he will we beneficial to the school.
Weiss: Are you insane? Do you know what he has done?
Ozpin: I know that he has never killed anyone if that is what you're asking.
Weiss: But-
Ozpin: That will be all. I've heard he was last seen about 20 minutes ago near From Dust Till Dawn.
We walked out of the office and things were a bit tense.
Me: Weiss, what do you know of this Shadow Rose?
Weiss: He's a monster that has a grudge against every Schnee.
Yang: That kinda sounds like a lot of people.
Weiss glared at Yang before they entered their room.
Ruby: Well, we should get going then.
Flashback End.
We were walking down the sidewalk until we saw a few people who were beaten up and tied together. We then noticed a figure wearing a white cloak staring at us with his blood red eyes.
The Shadow Rose: Ah, what do we have here? A Schnee. What, are you here for revenge against your father?
Weiss: You are to come with us.
T.S.R(The Shadow Rose) threw a black spear at us which we managed to dodge.
T.S.R: The come and get me if you can.
Yang went to punch him only for him to disappear when she did, leaving behind a single black rose.
Yang: Where did he go?!
T.S.R: Aww, that was a cute attempt. Next time bring your a game.
We looked up and saw that he was sitting on a lamppost.
Me: Weiss, think you could slow him down?
Weiss: On it!
Weiss summoned one of her glyphs and tried to freeze him in place, Only for him to jump out of the way/
T.S.R: Is that all you got?
Blake appeared behind him and tackled him to the ground.
T.S.R: Impressive, you managed to pin me... Or not.
He then vanished into the ground and shadows moved toward the other side of the street, then he rose from the ground. I charged at him and swung Crescent Rose at him only for him to jump and do a hand stand on the blade.
T.S.R: Better luck next time girls.
T.S.R then vanished and didn't reappear.
Yang: Man, Ozpin really wants us to capture this guy, huh?
Weiss: I still don't like him.
Me: Let's just get back to Beacon.
3rd POV
Y/N smiled as he watched RWBY walk away.
Y/N: Me 1, RWBY 0. But, they are surprising.
Y/N then put his hood back up and vanished. When he reappeared he was in his room. He put his cloak away and decided to walk around the school. He ended up bumping into RWBY.
Y/N: Oh, hey gals. What happened to you? You look exhausted.
Blake: Well, Professor Ozpin had us try to capture T.S.R.
Y/N: T.S.R huh? Well, he is hard to get. I know you'll get him soon, you all have a wonderful leader.
Ruby: *Blushing* Th-thanks Y-Y/N.
Y/N walked away continuing his walk.
Yang: Oh? Does my sister have a crush?
Ruby: *Still blushing* Y-Yang! I don't have a crush on him! *Mumbles* Even if he's cute.
Yang: Ruby's got a cru-ush. Ruby's got a cru-ush.
Yang sang happily as they entered their room, Ruby's face turning as red as her cloak.
Elsewhere.
Vernde: So, do they suspect anything?
Y/N: That The Shadow Rose is right in front of them? Nope.
Vernde: So what do you think of them?
Y/N: Well, Yang is a bit brash, Weiss is a little more coordinated, Blake is very sneaky, and Ruby has quick thinking, that and she's cu-
Y/N glared at Vernde who laughed.
Y/N: Not a word.
Vernde: What? That you have a crush?
Y/N: I will tie you up, hang you on a tree, and feed you to the Beowolves, if you say anything to her.
Vernde: Okay, okay. I wont tell her. But you have to tell her before the end of the semester.
Y/N: Fine! Dammit, how did I get caught up in this mess?
Vernde: You swore you would find a girlfriend, I'm just trying to make it happen quicker.
Y/N went into his hammock and passed out. Vernde pulled out his scroll and texted Yang.
Vernde: 'Hey Yang, guess what?'
Yang: 'What is it Vernie?'
Vernde: 'Don't tell Ruby this, but Y/N has a crush on her.'
Yang: 'HAHA, Really? That's so hilarious.'
Vernde: 'Don't tell me, let me guess... Ruby has a crush on Y/N.'
Yang: 'Yup. But don't tell Y/N.'
Vernde: 'Wanna make a bet?'
Yang: 'What are you betting?'
Vernde: '500 Lien says that Y/N will ask first.'
Yang: 'Your on!'
Vernde: 'Night Firecracker.'
Yang: 'Night Vernie.'
Vernde closed his scroll and smiled. This got very interesting
