my angel🥺ehem anyways to recover from the previous chapter. Here is a soft Mingi imagine :)
Beauty. It's a word you can use to describe a person or an object. In this case, you have met the most beautiful person ever and he was standing in front of you.
Mingi. He was a simple boy, your classmate and best friend. He loved rapping and always joined mini rap battles outside of school. He was the best in town, it led him to believe that he could become famous if he moved to Seoul and found a company to train under.
Look you weren't gonna lie, if Mingi moved you would be very sad. Considering he also decided to take up dancing lessons and met up with his 4 year friend, Yunho.
"Mingi do you have to? You still have a future ahead." Mingi sighs, his hand laid on your cheeks as he carreses it softly.
"_____ it's my dream and my choice. Don't worry I'm not going to forget you. You are my childhood friend. Remember when you cried cause dropped your ice cream."
"It was my favourite flavour too." You pout. Mingi chuckles.
"I will make sure to call you when I arrive Seoul alright?"
"But-"
"Please ____ I wanna be a rapper and I want people to recognise my talents. It would be pretty wasteful if I had such a good rapping skill and I wasn't put into a kpop group right?"
"F-Fine. You better call me at least twice a month. Or else you could forget about me."
"I wouldn't dare forgot about you." He pecks your forehead. "Now I have to catch the train. See ya bestie." He ruffles your hair.
Now it was just you in your 'shared' apartment between Mingi and you. You two moved because you couldn't stand your parents, they were very toxic and honestly you were some shotgun marriage. Your parents never actually liked each other, they were a one night stand and your grandparents had arranged the marriage.
Your father was quite abusive when he drank alcohol and so was your mom. Mingi told his parents and they agreed for the both of you to stay together while they paid for the bills of the small apartment.
It's been 2 years now and you found out Mingi already debuted last year. He changed a lot. You listened to a few of his group's song and their albums were spectacular. There isn't a need to criticize good songs. In this past 2 years, Mingi never bothered calling. Maybe he did forget about you.
Currently, you were in your bed laying down scrolling and looking through ATEEZ's profile. Might as well learn their names who knows if Mingi remembers you he might introduce you to his friends. The doorbell rings. You weren't expecting anyone so you curiously went to open the door.
"Surprise!" Mingi says.
"M-Mingi." He hugs you.
"So is this your girlfriend's apartment?" Yunho says. You let go of mingi's hug.
"YUNHO!!!" You hugged yunho. Oh how the height difference mocked you.
"How are you doing ____." Yunho lets you go.
"Good, I just finished my architecture course and just recently got a job."
"Cool architecture huh. You can build a house for you, Mingi and your future kids." Yunho smirks.
"Woah we aren't dating yunho." Mingi says smiling.
"We both know you like her mingi." Yunho says.
"Are you not gonna move in, it's cold out here." Yunho moved aside and soon enough the other 6 boys strut in. Yunho shuts the door.
"So these are my members."
"Wait don't introduce them. I wanna do it, I have been trying to memorise their names since like a week ago." You say.
"You are Hongjoong, Yeosang, Wooyoung, Seonghwa, Jongho and San." You say in order.
"Woah is she an Atiny cause that will be cool."
"I kinda am. Haven't really fully gotten in depth with everything but I'm learning. I like your songs."
"Ooo Hongjoong hyung she likes our song."
"Shut it, Mingi did it the lyrics too." Your eyes fell onto Mingi and when you met eyes, you instantly blushed and looked away.
The 18 year old Mingi doesn't look the same at all. He had grown up to be a fine man with a sense of fashion.
"I-I will go prepare some snacks that I have stocked in the pantry. You guys can go play some mario kart. Mingi how about you help them since it's your console." Mingi nods and the 7 boys followed him. You went into the kitchen.
Now you kinda liked about not fully getting into the fandom..in fact you started reading fanfictions about each of them and at first it was weird but...you enjoyed them a lot.
"Hey ____ I can't find the mario kart." Mingi says. You were stoning. Mingi wrapped his arm around your waist and you felt goosebumps when he touched your waist.
"H-Hm?"
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah! I'm good. What is it?"
"The mario kart. I can't find the CD for it."
"Right I forgot I just organized some stuff. Hold on I will get to you after pouring the drinks."
"I can help, this is our house after all."
"I-I know but you don't stay here anymore."
"My parents are paying for it ____."
"Right. Uhh." Mingi goes to grab more cups and helps you pour the drinks. Your eyes trailed along his strong hands... What are you thinking ____. Stop falling for Mingi! He doesn't like you that way.
"You sure your okay?" Mingi says after taking a sip of the milk. You bit your lips, there was milk by the side of his lips.
"____?"
"Can I kiss you?" You blurt out. Of course you realise what you said and so you covered your mouth. "Wait hold up I didn't mean to-" Mingi leans down and kisses you.

"Hey mings we wanna play-OH, HYUNG I THINK WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A COUPLE AMONGST US." San says. Mingi pulled away.
"Don't mind them but I really like you ____. I have been in love with you since like we were kids." Mingi held your hand.
"Well me too, just not that early. Maybe I say high school?" You say. Mingi brought your hand close and pecked it.
"Then will you be my girlfriend?"
"Won't your company be mad?"
"Well they can't say anything if I threatened to leave the group just for you."
"You wouldn't Mingi."
"Why is that?"
"You love atinys too much."
"But I love you way more."
"Hey wait too early to say I love you we just started dating."
"It's never too early angel."
"HEY COUPLE WE NEED SNACKS AND WE ARE BORED STARING AT THE BLANK SCREEN."
"Okay chill, we are bringing the snacks now." You shout back at them. "Sheesh they really can't wait."
"Or it's because they can hear us flirting with each other."
"Yup we can, now could you please-" San shouts.
"ON IT WAIT UP YOU IMPATIENT BITCH." You shout back.
"Damn never thought my girlfriend would be so fiesty."
"Why do you hate it?" He pecks your lips.
"Not at all. It's hot." He winks, grabs the snacks and exits to hand his members the snacks. He just left you there frozen.
"I think I need to stop by the mosque/church/temple to pray for myself."
(A/n: since there is a diversity here. I might as well have the various religious places here)
"____ baby the drinks!" Mingi shouts.
"C-Coming!" You grabbed the drinks and brought it the living room.
Babie🥺 maybe I love him a little too much but I can't help myself! He literally steals my uwus. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this. Since you guys wanted a part 2 to the San makeup artist thing, I will be planning to make it pretty soon just gonna update my stray kids imagine.
I'm so inactive there but hey im trying. Maybe on there I can only update every once a week since im always on my Ateez imagines. Okay I'm signing off now :) please take care of yourself and don't fall sick <3 love you guys
